It's a post office, what more can I say? I don't think I've ever been to a post office that was AMAZING. Usually they're filled with unhappy workers because half their day is spent dealing with moody (sometimes irrational) customers. I've started and stopped this review over 10 times because every time I come it's a different experience. One trip was filled with good deeds and I had the pleasure to watch a postal worker keep a customer from leaving without their phone as well as the shift manager approaching everyone in line to help whoever can be helped to get the line moving faster. That day I would have given this post office four stars. Today, however, is a completely different experience. I was greeted by the shift manager yet again and was told to get out of the line (even though I was next in line and I waited 15 minutes already to get to that point) so she could help me... that was the last time I saw her. 15 minutes later, after there was basically no line anymore one of the other postal workers came to assist me. If it weren't for his kindness this review would be 1 star. This place is a hit or miss and if it weren't for the fact that my mail gets delivered here I would never come to this location. Unless you like waisting 30+ minutes of your day waiting in line to pick up or drop off mail, take my advice and drive to the USPS on Palm Dr. read more

My small package was delivered to a parcel locker. They said they would deliver next day. It never showed. They say they have it but will not release it. Very expensive piece of jewelry. The place I bought it from will not reimburse me because Homestead said it was delivered. To THERE parcel locker. I am out several hundred dollars. They were too lazy to deliver. read more

it will be great if USPS can create a line during peak hours for just drop offs for instance, drop offs for eBay products that have already everything that they need and that just need a receipt .It is outrageous to have to wait in line for 25 minutes to just get a receipt. read more

The worst postal office in south Florida by far. 2 hour lines. Terrible customer service. With plenty Attitude and hostility is how customers are treated to say the least. To be fair, after my latest experience, I think the problems are system-wide. I used the USPS website to ask for my mail to be held for two weeks starting 10/27. I was expecting a small package delivery from Amazon on 10/25. It didn't show up. I complained online. No response. When 10/27 came around, NONE of my mail was held. The carrier just kept shoving it into the mailbox. One of my neighbors noticed the box overflowing and started checking it everyday for me. When I returned, the original small package that should have been delivered on 10/25 had a sticker on it that said, "Hold." Really? Now, I'm waiting for a package I mailed to myself, Priority, while I was away in another state. Tracking YESTERDAY said it was supposed to be delivered 11/16 by 9pm. Still not here. Tracking TODAY, 11/17, makes it look like the package is still sitting in the originating post office. My niece went to that post office today and was told it left the facility on time, but they don't know where it is because NO ONE in the system has been scanning the package as they move it along. So, wasted money on a Priority purchase. For all I know, it's completely lost and will never show up. I've read some of the other 1-star reviews, and I have to say I agree with them. I wish that were not true, but it is. Like someone else said in a different review, if I need to go to the post office, I go to the one on Palm Dr. Before I retired, I used to go the one closest to my work in Kendall. Next time I travel and want to send a package to myself here in Homestead, I will go the the nearest UPS store to send it. read more

This location is a piece of shit! No one ever answers the phone (305) 247-1556. The mail lady came to deliver my package I work next to the door and she literally put a paper on my door because didn't want to bring down the heavy package. We have 2 cameras at the front door (blink & ring) have it on camera she didn't knock, ring the door bell or anything went to get up to stop her and she even speeds in the neighborhood. Reschedules the package the same day for the next day. I saw she was about to come and went to stand outside she knew already and said she didn't have my package made her call the store manager "Luis" that seems to be a heartless person and he said he had no one to send that she can bring it tomorrow. Have all of this in video camera both me talking the the driver, her calling the manager Luis and her video of yesterday showing The audacity she had to literally just leave the missed you notice. I guess they are lucky I can't upload videos on here it only allows photos. read more

My first post office experience was surprisingly quite enjoyable. My only issue was that online it says that this location takes passport pictures and they don't...and they're fully aware of this misconception however it's not written anywhere inside therefore you have to wait until you're at the front of the long line for them to tell you that they don't do that anymore. Luckily, the workers are super duper nice and redirected me to the nearest Walgreens. Jessie helped me with my passport application process and she was so sweet, patient, and definitely a people person. They all work together very nicely and organized. The young man with the glasses was very helpful as well. I'll 100% recommend this location! read more

I always have a good experience with Dwayne he's very Proffesional and helpful and the place doesn't have big waiting lines.

The postal carrier always deliver things to the wrong houses, don't even pay attention to the address. My neighbors and I are well aware of this and will bring the packages to the right house. I have a package lost now, obviously a neighbor who's not trustworthy got the package. So I'm probably out of the money for the packages contents due to hiring incompetent drivers. Not confident USPS missing mail search will resolve anything since it was delivered to the wrong house and someone keeping it. And certainly sure USPS isn't going to cover my loss. Time to for commercial companies to take over delivery services and do away with the USPS for good. Plenty of companies willing to and it will save us tax payers money. USPS has been losing our tax money we pay for it for far too long. read more

I have a case number, I've called the USPS consumer affairs number more than once, I am missing mail, I have informed delivery and on 12/9/19 the carrier didn't even stop at my house, even though I knew I was expecting a delivery. I finally got a call from the branch and was told that maybe my neighbor got my mail cause the carrier said he always delivers the mail! Please! Zero stars! They have thieves working here. I had a delivery confirmation that stated I had a package delivered to my home; however, I never received the package. I was home that day so I would have heard a knock. First I called and the lazy store rep who answered didn't bother to rectify the situation, she tried to rush me off the phone by giving me the inspectors number. I asked for the supervisor immediately, supposedly she transferred me but the phone was dead silent and I waited for 5 mins and no one came back to the phone. I hung up asked for the supervisor again, same problem. I was not satisfied so I drove up there. Come to find out two other people ahead of me had the same exact problem, mail showing it was delivered but was never received. The supervisor Ricco pretty much told us that our packages were not at the post office, there's been a lot of packages coming up missing there, but there's nothing he can do... So what did he do about it, forward us to the inspector. Left a message for the sorry inspector, still no returned call and this is the third day. I also have a First class package that was supposed to be delivered today, but tracking has not been updated since it was sent from the original location, so I don't have any idea as to the status of that package. Steer clear of sending/receiving anything with this particular location because it might get stolen and I would stay away from USPS altogether. I ordered medical supplies, from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, going to Pensacola, FL and I can not take my medication without them. I was informed that my package was tracked to this facility and has been here since 9/11 and today is 9/20. I have called 4 different phone numbers at my expense and was on hold 25 minutes until a recording came on that said they can call me back in 20-30 minutes, if I leave my phone number. A very nice man named, Ron, did call me back and he reopened my case as someone closed it out. This situation is upsetting and I guess I will have to reorder my supplies and overnight it. read more

I have a small business and go to this post office more offten than none. I come with my package ready. prelabled to make a drop off & your lives easier. My packages either end up stolen or damaged?! You don't know how it feels for them to tell you its OK leave it here and when you check your emails your customers are livid because they don't see their packages. I automatically know, either the person waiting in the drop off line stole it or sad to say, it might even be an inside job. This place is a JOKE. You can stand around and wait for hours for a supervisor that will never show. I've consistently had my mail go missing and stolen by their employees even before it's locked up in my mail box. I have a cluster mail box so no other person has access to it other than Usps employees yet my mail has been delivered, torn open and contents inside missing. One time i went to complain because my mail was missing and the guy at the desk flat out tried to call me a liar as he turned the screen to show me the gps coordinates of where the package had been scanned only for i to point out that it had been delivered to the wrong address, a street over instead of my own. He kept trying to argue with me that i perhaps had put the address wrong when i ordered my package. What a coincidence that my most expensive items are the ones that go missing, or the items that i order around the holidays? I'm fed up with this place. This is the last straw. Worst than the DMV!!! This place is HELL!!!!! I avoid it as much as I can. It's always packed. There are screaming little children running around everywhere. Customer service is the worst. The employees are straight up MEAN, and when they aren't mean they are super passive aggressive. I always end up leaving here angry for how rude they were to me or feeling bad from seeing them mistreat someone else. The usps driver ran over and killed my dog, I called to file a report to this center as I was told to do so by the usps corp, I asked for the manager and had to wait almost 10 mins for a response, when he finally comes on the phone he is completely and utterly rude with no customer service skills what so ever! He throws all the blame on me for the occuring situation and trys to scare off from making the report by telling me I will be the one facing charges, and continues to interupt me and tell me the occurring is my dogs fault and that his driver can speed through my neighbor hood without having to stop or even attempt to stop for anything. Useless Customer service. I need a passport. I called the number on the Passport page since it said it's by appointment only. The lady is somewhat nice. She tells me that the person has to go IN PERSON to the post office to make an appointment. They are only open VERY limited hours during the day and i work a regular 9-5 which makes it hard for me to go in person. I convince my disabled sister to go there between 2-3 pm since that's when they're open in the afternoon. She goes and they tell her that the person has to come ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH and make an appointment at that time only. Ridiculous! read more

Like the other reviewers, if I could give negative stars I would. I mailed an International Priority package over the counter from Homestead, Fl. It came back to me, over two weeks later, because they counter clerk did not enter it into the BPMAN system correctly, thereby putting the package in limbo. When I finally got the package back and I went to find out what was wrong, one gentlemen yelled at me; the supervisor told me I had filled out the address wrong, and the Post Master was too busy to see me and I left without a resolution. Needless to say, the staff seems rude, arrogant, and incompetent. Even after I had been guaranteed a refund from their superiors (Consumer Affairs), and when I went in to receive it no one acknowledged it. I don't know if this is just the state of the PO or this particular branch, however, if you need to use this branch good luck to you - you are going to need it. read more

Our postal Currier doesn't close the Mail Box door all the way, even after attaching a message to the inside of the door "Please Close" he just flips it up and it doesn't go under the tabs at the top to secure the door or allow it to close all the way allowing water to soak the mail and if it's Wendy cause the door to fall down and the mail to go bye bye. He's either lazy, untrained or just don't give a rats azz. Either way he needs to do his job properly or retire and let someone that cares about their job replace him. read more
