It also has the kids corner with nice books for a wide range of ages, and they also have days where they read to the kids and play story time with the book they read. The staff members are more than friendly, and accommodating, you really feel welcomed in here, they try to help you with your requests as much as they can. This location has the computer area but it seems to be busy all the time (which is ok if you bring your own), internet is not as fast but I rather being here than in a Starbucks where the noise is just horrible and the coffee is expensive, or at home where my toddler won't let me finish homework lol. Parking is small and limited, but it seems to not get packed if you come by at the right time. Overall, its a doable location because it is closer to where I live. If not, id go somewhere else. Just make sure to ask for a more experienced employee if you run into a similar issu.

I've been here a few times over the years, always for the Air Show. I like the show a lot, and the…read morebase is always organized; the exhibition of planes on the ground is also very nice. It was well organized since before the base stopped having the air shows after the hurricane hit it and then covid and all... but since they restarted it's even better. The vendors are a bit overpriced... which in "event vendors talk" translated into "prices are fair, but more expensive than in the real world". The security, as you might expect on a military base, is pretty tight. the port-a-potties are extremely well organized (you can't really call them "clean" in an event this magnitude, but they are as close to be as you're going to find. Three things: 1) wear sunscreen, and 2) BRING A CHAIR. Also, if you are sensitive to loud noises, 3) bring earplugs... planes make noise. supersonic planes make more noise... and cars with plane rockets are even noisier... I used to think no one needed this to be told to them, but I was wrong.

I went here to get records of any incident and speaking to the person behind the window was like speaking into a black hole. It can take up to 1 month to get records. WOW! For some reason not surprised. Not sure if there's a designated police visitor's parking lot but in the pouring rain I had to walk from the main street parking site. At least there were no meters. Yikes! Crime rate should be low because one trip to this place should be a deterrent. Well this is my first and hopefully last trip to this area but now it is a wait and see. The staff are polite, helpful, and welcoming, which I really appreciated. That said, because it's a public library in the Florida City area, you do need to stay aware of your surroundings. There can be a mix of people coming in and out, including some individuals who may make you feel a bit uncomfortable at times. What concerned me most, though, was my experience with security. I went into the restroom to change and breastfeed my 6-month-old daughter, and the security guard repeatedly knocked on the door in a way that felt excessive and made me extremely uncomfortable. As a mother trying to care for my baby, that situation felt inappropriate and unsettling. Overall, the facility and staff are great, but I hope management addresses situations like this so families can feel fully safe and comfortable while visiting.

I visited the Cyberarium expecting a modern library experience. It feels more like a tech hub than a true library. Also, parking is a hassle. There's a paid garage, but the entrance to the Cyberarium is on the opposite end of the building, and there's no direct access from the garage to the library itself. Not very user-friendly, especially if you're carrying things or dealing with bad weather
