This library has a good selection in books, is not like other very fancy libraries I have been to,…read morebut it looks clean, nice, neat, and most of it QUIET. It also has the kids corner with nice books for a wide range of ages, and they also have days where they read to the kids and play story time with the book they read. The staff members are more than friendly, and accommodating, you really feel welcomed in here, they try to help you with your requests as much as they can. This location has the computer area but it seems to be busy all the time (which is ok if you bring your own), internet is not as fast but I rather being here than in a Starbucks where the noise is just horrible and the coffee is expensive, or at home where my toddler won't let me finish homework lol. This library is going to be my best friend on my last two classes of the masters

The staff are polite, helpful, and welcoming, which I really appreciated. That said, because it's a public library in the Florida City area, you do need to stay aware of your surroundings. There can be a mix of people coming in and out, including some individuals who may make you feel a bit uncomfortable at times. What concerned me most, though, was my experience with security. I went into the restroom to change and breastfeed my 6-month-old daughter, and the security guard repeatedly knocked on the door in a way that felt excessive and made me extremely uncomfortable. As a mother trying to care for my baby, that situation felt inappropriate and unsettling. Overall, the facility and staff are great, but I hope management addresses situations like this so families can feel fully safe and comfortable while visiting.

I visited the Cyberarium expecting a modern library experience. It feels more like a tech hub than a true library. Also, parking is a hassle. There's a paid garage, but the entrance to the Cyberarium is on the opposite end of the building, and there's no direct access from the garage to the library itself. Not very user-friendly, especially if you're carrying things or dealing with bad weather

This library also has events going on for children. Compared to the other library in the area (Palmetto Bay Library) this is absolutely HUGE. I recommend to every single person you've ever met in Homestead, Princeton, Goulds, South Miami Heights, Naranja, Leisure City, Florida City, Redland, and Cutler Bay. Awesome library!!!!!!

What interesting architecture at Coral Gables Library! (1968, same age as me!) I cannot believe…read morethat I have been here 12 years and have never been before. Worthy of a visit if you are in the area. The building was built from native keystone, quarried in the Florida Keys, Honduran Mahogany doors, Spanish clay floor tiles, and wrought iron fixtures. The building's Spanish influence is apparent, conforming to Coral Gables' guidelines for the Mediterranean Revival style. The main reading room has 15-foot high ceilings with exposed wood beams. It was designed by Edward T. Rempe, AIA, and his associate, Wray G. Succop, AIA. The library's interior is a blend of Spanish and contemporary influence.

The service can be hit or miss, depending on who is working that day. For being such a small location, they do a great job at making sure everything is always in order. Library is quite big, with a ground floor and second floor. The kids' area is very spacious and nicely done. This is one of my favorite libraries in Miami Dade. The employees and volunteers are very knowledgeable and whatever they don't know, they make sure to find out. They offer free language classes at the site as well as free music apps, audiobook apps, language apps, and discounts on much more I really love this place and has saved me so much money on buying a computer and printer and audiobook subscriptions.
