I returned the packages ask where my package was and that I had another person's package in my box. The person working checked and stated they must have switched the keys and a man received my shoes and apparently took them. I wanted to know what and when they would fix this situation because I am being billed for the shoes. I was surprised the worker got upset with me I guess because I questioned him and he made a mistake and gave my shoes to a man . I just wanted to know what would be done, no apology just raised his voice got upset with me. Later my friend called to ask and the female worker was agitated and said they would have to get the shoes from the man who took them and said if you have a problem with that call someone and hung up. They don't have an automated postal center so you can't mail things after hours when they close and also I don't remember seeing a drive through mail box though. So you have to find parking nearby and walk into the post office or just find a blue box elsewhere in the city. Update 1/25/15: Thanks Gayl B for letting me know that there is a drive through mail box with this downtown post office on the same side of the street as the front entrance (on Sumach)

Recently, I had a package picked up, scanned and delivered to my next-door neighbor. She brought it by the next day; I took it down to the drop-box in the lobby. It still hasn't shipped (was supposed to go to Indiana. Will go to the Post Office today to try and see where it is and why it hasn't shipped. I ship hundreds of packages each year, prices go up and services are getting worse.

I frequently order online and since I've moved here I will have no mail for 2-5 days then get so much it won't all fit in the box and I have to go pick it up during business hours. Business hours are 8:00am to noon! Not every Plymouth resident is retired or on welfare. Even one day a week with some extended hours or a noon to 4:00pm day would allow a wider range of customers to access their mail. My wife or myself burn a vacation hour every week or two so that we can pickup our packages. Half the time it is just mail that was saved and once delivered would overfill the box. On several occasions over the last 2 years I have noticed the clerk will prop open the back door and smoke within a few feet of the building. I quite often smell strong cigarette smoke in the PO Box area.

Only one employee handling passport applications and pictures (she was great, though) and zero signage on where to go for passports, even though only one employee is handling them. When I got there I waited only about 10 minutes, but while I was waiting about 15-20 people got behind me in line without any movement made. I hope this post office gets more staff members and is able to upgrade their signage at some point soon. They don't make passport appointments intuitive for dummies like me! Side note: Apple Maps takes you to the employee only parking lot instead of the general parking lot, not sure why that is.

We're not allowed to Unclip it. (Me)-What should I do? (Dawn)-put a rock on the lid. I do. 3- I'm not touching that rock, your dog peed on it. (Box is outside the gate). So I take the rock off and leave the lid to blow open. 4- your box doesn't have your address on it. (It's on the fence 10' away) I move the address next to the box. 5- The road is too rough. We grade the road. 6- it's too far...... Its .49 miles, under the. 5 limit. I file a complaint with the post master, she says we are. 57 miles from the mail box. I tell her we're not, she then says "Dawn's back is bad". Please do better!
