I'm sure some postal workers, uh, suck, but the person who helped me today was friendly, smiling, and suggested an alternative shipping box for a considerable savings. Yes please and thank you. My main complaint today had nothing to do with this particular post office, rather the fact that I could not purchase a label directly through usps.com and save there. Minus 0 stars, not their fault on Derry Street. Great experience while I was nearby and needed to ship an item. Observation: there was only one clerk working and I'm sure if someone required service that took several minutes you'd be waiting and very unhappy. Maybe they need more clerks, but that isn't my problem and didn't affect me today. read more

We send and receive packages here because the workers have been very helpful navigating the laws and regulations that apply to our antiquities and rarities. There are two employees here who are masters of crowd work. While handing lines dilligently and with attention, they make sure to identify people in line who might need different services or who could be ushered through the process before they wait their entire time in line just to be shown something else. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. No note posted about them going on lunch and when I got here at 12:25 they locked the doors and let me in but then made everyone inside the post office stay locked in the building until they were ready to let us leave!? I submitted an address change online in 3/21/26 with an effective date of 4/20/26. Per the email confirmation I received, I should've began receiving my mail about ten days after the effective date. I also received an email stating I needed to go into the branch for an id verification within 20 days of the email. I went in with my driver's license and the woman upfront scanned my barcode. About 2 weeks after I moved in, I stopped by the post office for an update. The older black woman with a pixie cut, told me I'd receive a phone call. She didn't bother listening to anything I had to say. Another 2 weeks passed, no call from the post office. I submitted a request online advising my address change hasn't been activated. I received a call this morning from Sobhi Elmaghrbi stating it hasn't taken effect because I didn't complete the ID verification. I told him, I did the verification in person and the front desk rep scanned the barcode on my email. He ignored that and said I needed to come back in. As requested, I went back today at 12:07pm, saw Justin. He informed me Sobhi had stepped out. He knew I was coming. This was on purpose. He specifically told me to ask for him. I explained to Justin, I needed to do an ID verification again. I tried giving him my driver's license and proof of address. He told me he was unable to take it as they don't have a copy machine. He suggested I leave my name/#/address and he'd have Sobhi call me when he return. It's been 2hrs, no call. I called him. The phone rang with no answer. This is insane that this rude, incompetent person is the manager and this is how he's behaving. It's been almost a month and I'm not receiving my mail and this person can't even be bothered to do his job to rectify a problem THEY created. read more

I give the staff a 5 star...they cannot help they are understaffed. They have always been very kind to me and go above and beyond. Standing in line is good for the soul. Hopefully, you will not have an attitude by the time you get to a clerk. Possibly why so many think they are rude. I have never had an experience with a rude clerk there. So whoever the higher ups are...shout to them and ask them to better staff one of the busiest post offices around. As for parking...this was definitely thought out when moved from its previous location on Derry. There was parking, as well as easy access in and out. This place is disgusting the workers are getting paid with benefits to do there job wrong. Reading is not a requirement for this job since mail from J ends up in I mailbox. They put so much wrong mail in the mailbox that there is a collection of peoples mail scattered all up and down the street and when I called to complain the supervisor said he would send some1 skip to a week later mail is still in bushes also 11-12-20 today I found out the 1 of those idiots sent my package that I was waiting over a week for back. This is a post office, so they do the usual - sending and receiving mail. Other than that, this location isn't the best. The parking isn't very good, as the lot slants down. People come flying in from Derry St. which can make it kinda dangerous if you are trying to leave a parking spot. The priority mailing boxes are never stocked when I need them, but I guess that's what happens when they are free. The main kicker here is the service. This morning when I was in, there was one poor girl handling a line of at least 7 people. She tried calling for additional assistance, but no one came to help her. Finally, about 10 mins after her callings twice another woman came out. She seemed to be in no rush and acted very annoyed that she had to come out and help customers. Moral of the story: don't come in a rush! read more

Came in here to mail a package. The lady behind the counter on some sort of power trip or something. She is so nasty--- why do you have rude people who say rude stuff working for your company? I walked out and am taking my business elsewhere. I don't need to be called stupid or told I don't know what I'm talking about. I don't know about the rest of the world but mailing a package requires the education level of a 1st grader. I would evaluate your services she yelled at another lady while I was there and I was only there for five minutes. Sounds like anger management problems! read more

Let's start with the staff at this location. Number-1 problem: ATTITUDE. Several of the clerks here act like they're above all of the lowly customers, who often stand in line for long periods of time - mostly because there's only one person handling an onslaught of customers. When you do reach the clerk, they talk to you like you're bothering them. Now for the worst of it. I've lived in quite a few places in the U.S., and this post office has to be the worst I've encountered when it comes to delivery. Lost checks, prescription meds, and more! Just today, I received three pieces of mail, and all of them were for my next door neighbor. God only knows where my mail went. Also, recently, a check for $300 never made it to my house, and weeks earlier another $300 check was lost; I'm a freelancer, so those checks pay my bills and put food on the table. Fortunately for me, my clients aren't as irresponsible as those who work for this branch of the post office. I just got off the phone with someone at the branch. She didn't identify herself, but she has no idea how to act professionally, nor does she understand how to speak to a customer. She had the nerve to say to me, "You can't accuse the mail carrier of losing your checks." This after I told her about all of my neighbors and I redelivering our mail on a daily basis, including the little old lady who lives a block away, bringing me my meds. No wonder the post office is an endangered business. read more

Put up a mailbox key request for my new apartment. Even a month after placing the request, there is absolutely no response from the staff. In what universe does it take one month to manufacture keys?? Personally went to the post office a week ago and was told I will get a call in 3-4 days to collect the keys but there is no call/email yet. Their toll free number is pathetic and so is their service. The staff doesn't care about the customers at all and are not at all friendly. read more

This Post Office is the reason that the USPS is going out of business. I've been in and out of many PO throughout the Country and have never seen one as bad as this one. It's way understaffed and the people that are working there are some of the rudest folks I've ever met. It's always like you are being a major inconvenience just for being there. I think these are pretty good paying jobs with good benefits, you'd think they could find people that actually wanted to work, at least some of the time. read more
