Donte is rude and not customer friendly he does not need to work anywhere you have to service customers. It's a bad look.

Great customer service, they move people thru the lines pretty quickly. Hometown friendly! and good at remembering customers who frequent!

Update: the Shipper did submit a claim and it was quickly paid. Thank you, UPS Store for expediting…read morethe claim! The item is still damaged but am happy with this Store's response. I have used this store in the past with great success. On 8/1/24, a family member ("Shipper") took a valuable family heirloom to the store for packing and shipping. Both the Shipper and I live out of state. When the box was delivered, the item was severely damaged - crushed. I know the Shipper emphasized the item's importance and the need for it to be a "project" in packing. Yes, it has a declared value. When we attempt to call the store, the phone rolls to VM and its inbox is full. We now have 2 days before the declared-value insurance expires. It's just not right at all. Maybe someone at the store will see this unhappy remark and make it right in the allotted time frame. If so, I will gladly remove this negative comment.

There is alot to say about the UPS store in general. The convenience of preparing and sending your…read morepackage makes it all so easy. The experience so quick and easy at this location in comparison to the store located in Kingsland Ga. There is no comparison when customer service is done right. Today with all the effort to keep profits high and face time low, there is concern that we will be treated like cattle. This is not the case here. Personable service and attention to detail are paramount. I look forward to the next visit to see if this is an everyday business model at this location, or maybe just fortunate. The two largest shippers for consumers of course are FefEx and UPS. The competition should be fierce, yet UPS is winning the customer service field in my personal opinion. Keep up the excellent job.

On my visits it has just been one person. They have been really friendly, but the wait time is undesirable. The parking lot is a little tricky, and has a blind spot as you are trying to pull out. It's a do not enter sign that blocks your view. They should move it. I will keep using this location because it is close to where I'm staying

Lousy service, unfortunately we have no choice. We live in the Taylor/Rehobeth area. Mail more…read moreoften than not runs after 6pm, I have seen the carrier deliver mail here as late as 9pm! Several times per week they truck stops, then has to back up and hit houses again due to mail they missed putting in boxes. Things get marked "delivered" when they aren't. Packages, don't get us started. The mail will be put in our boxes, and if we are expecting a package (Informed Delivery tells us), it doesn't get delivered until the next day, or someone comes by late and puts it on the porch. Recently a letter arrived wet, TWO DAYS after it rained. Going to the main branch, pretty much all we have, means long lines and grouchy staff. A man at the main post office in town told a neighbor "if she didn't like it, she could buy a PO Box." This part of Dothan is expanding but instead of putting a small satellite post office here to help, we're getting another Dollar store. If you're moving here, be aware that you'll be pretty unhappy with mail service.

I have a horror story with the Troy Alabama Post Office. Tried mailing cards to my daughter using…read morean express mail envelope. It was filled out correctly but the clerk was all bent out of shape that I was paying more for using the express envelope rather than the flat rate one. She said it was $28 for the flat rate envelop and $37 for the Express one. I said I did not care how much it was but she kept going on about it so I went and got the flat rate envelope and an address slip, sat down and filled it out and got back in line. While in line there was a tape dispenser on the table and I used it to seal the envelope since they frequently tear open before reaching destination. This time the lady said in a loud rude voice that I used the wring tape (express instead of priority) and the address slip was also had the same issue. I told her that was the only tape available and there were non priority address slips available either but she would not listen. She could have easily covered the tape with the correct tape and. marked thru "express" on the slip but I guess their minds don't think that way. Instead I am told I would have to do it again. I looked at the line and decided I had enough. There is a UPS store across the street so I left the Post Office and went there. Walking in the UPS Store I felt like the entire atmosphere changed. Instead of a long line of frustrated customers being service by two slow moving grumpy postal workers I was greeted by an empty line and three smiling professional workers ready to help me. I explained what I just went thru and the were attentive and not once did they interrupt me or speak in a rode and condescending way. I wound up with a cost of $40.02 and the clerk dug two pennies out of a drawer, making it an even $40. Its scheduled to be delivered in 3 days and I have much more confidence it will be delivered and on time than I would have with the post office. That makes the additional $12 worth every penny! In fact I will never use the post office again.
