The angel's face is looking upwards towards Heaven and the angel's arms are reaching out to welcome home all who come to her. It gives a place for someone to grieve and process such a loss. The Angel of Hope is a very moving spot and I found it therapeutic to sit at a bench and allow myself to think and allow my soul to seek solace. If you are in the Dothan, Alabama area, I would definitely recommend a visit here, especially if you have suffered such a devastating loss. There is solace here, there is peace. I give here five stars.
