How would you overcharge for either priority or regular first-class mail that is just recklessly ridiculous. This is stupid. Come on, the postal service is out of control these days. Way back in the 1720's, it served as a grocery store. In 1757, a barbershop sprung up in part of the building. But what makes this place significant in United States history is what happened here in 1783. That's when it received it's first government post rider. That makes the building the oldest continuously operated post office in the country. So yesterday, I walked in, bought a stamp, and mailed a letter there. My brush with history!
