Sometimes deliveries are confusing as to whether they are coming to my off-grid address or the post office. Understanding that I chose to live near the middle of nowhere, having postal service with friendly folks is a treat. Once a week I travel to the post office, it is a fifteen mile journey through the hot, dusty mountain desert where sunburn, heat stroke and dehydration is a constant threat. I look forward to the happy faces and the bowl of candy. The public area is always clean and maintained. I don't know how they do it but I have never had to avoid stray cattle, horses or wild donkeys in the parking lot.

My packages got sent to the local post office I called them 25 times over a four day. Never getting an answer, I drove 65 miles to the post office. They were open and they told me my packages were just sent back. I asked him if the phones were down because I called them so many times they said they have the wrong phone number listed. I told him I called the Post Office main # to locate a post office to , get the phone number for the Concho post office and they gave me the same number I had been calling it's the wrong number so they don't get any phone calls. Maybe they like it that way but it cost me 130 mile round-trip to get nothing would've been nice to get a hold of somebody at the Post Office . I was trying to reach the post office I was trying to reach was in Concho,, AZ 85924. Someone should look into that. And post the correct number that was rather frustrating.
