No complaints from me, thus far. Our carrier Alane (not Elaine) is fantastic and the main PO in D-town is much improved from the dinky little PO we had through the 70's & 80's. My how things have changed. Be patient and Don't come over lunch hour. Come in the AM if you can. A full service PO. read more

This post office is definitely .... Dingy and old. But I do love that they have the longest hours and there also is never usually a long line because they usually have two people working the desk. If I need to do a "late" drop off I always go here ! Decent amount of parking as well and I like that it's not a shared lot! read more

Since the beginning of the year the Doylestown Post Office has lost two letters I mailed. Both were checks to pay my bills. One was mailed Jan 1st, the other April 1st (my real estate taxes). Both lost. Neither has turned up. What's goin on over there?????? read more

Went in their to pick up a package which the tracking said it was their and they told me it wasn't their....USPS is a joke you can't even believe they're tracking. It just gets worse and worse read more

The service is OK. Not bad. Not great. Somewhere in the middle, leaning listlessly toward "meh." This location fits most of the US Postal Service stereotypes. Either the line is out the door or no one is there. At least that is my consistent experience. The physical space is significantly dated. Lots of dead space, indicating it used to be a lot more and is now just a shell of its former self. Shabby and sad are the decorating themes. The worst aspect of this location is the parking lot. Designed for maximum traffic jams and likely fender benders, pull in and park at your own risk. read more

Our mail delivery person has always been cheerful and helpful - we miss her dearly - now we have this wing-nut that talks to herself and throws recycling bins around. Today she was yelling at the entire Amberton Court cul de sac for having their garbage cans and recycling bins "right where she needs to drive!!!", and even offered the comments "...let's see you get a job!", and "It's NOT rocket science, people!!" If this lunatic has issues with garbage and recycling day coinciding with mail delivery days, she should take it up with EnviroGreen - we are required to put our bins in front of our curb, and yes - that's where she has to drive. read more

Doylestown Mail Carriers are the WORST! The postal workers inside the post office are fantastic and very nice and professional. The mail delivery workers are another story. Get wrong mail ALL the time, get ALL of my neighbors mail often, get mail from other towns often. Just today got a large shutterfly calender basically bent in half to squeeze in the mail box. When we first moved in 2 years ago didnt get mail for a week - called and they said construction vehicles were blocking the mailbox - for 1 day!! And it was pick up. Could have easily stepped out of jeep to put in the mailbox but they NEVER EVER get out of their jeeps. Hang packages from the mailbox with rubberbands and have broken off 2 of our mailbox flags so far. I have never experienced such lazy mail carriers in my life. SUch a shame for such a nice community. read more

Avoid the New Britain Post Office like the plague. On many occasions, Greg the postal worker there has been extremely rude to me or other customers. When I arrived today I could see he was annoyed with the customer in line before me. I'm not exactly sure as to why. At my turn I asked to purchase a roll of stamps. While using my debit card there was some sort of problem. Something to do with a PIN. Greg, clearly annoyed with me came around to my side of the counter and canceled the transaction. He then proceeded back behind the counter and put the stamps back in the drawer. I asked him what I needed to do to buy some stamps. He said "Nothing, I'm not selling you any" . He then threatened to call the police on me. I told him to please do so as I walked out the door. Don't believe me? I'm sure there is video evidence. read more

Postal carrier stopped my mail without our request, because he heard we were moving. He did this 1 month before our moving date, had all our mail returned to sender. After finding this out after a month of no service, we put in a change of address form. We then moved no mail forwarded to our new address after two weeks. Finally recieved two pieces of mail at new address from post office. Letter stated that all mail is still being held until we return to the branch were we filled the change of address form. Drove 11/2 hours back to Doylestown to prove our identity. Spoke to first person behind service door. After about 10 minutes just standing there waiting for 10 minutes for someone to respond. Once waited on was told that the issue needed to be handled at front with the postal clerks at counter. Upon presenting them with the letter from postal service ansd all identifying documentation. They argued amoungs themselfs as to how to proceed. After 15 minutes of them contradicting each other they told me they could not help me, I needed some secret bar code which did not exist, at least in the paperwork sent to me. They were combative and extremely rude to me and my wife whenever we tryed to ask a question. The comments were boarder li e racist. I then ask to see a supervisor and then thats when things really escalated to unacceptable behavior. I waited 10 minutes to see a supervisor to answer the service door again. The entire time we were waiting for the supervisor to answer, the two clerks up front we talking about us in derogatory statements to themselves and the waiting customers." What do you want" in a ignorant voice was the greating I recieved once he came to door by the supervisor. I presented the letter we recieved, he perused over it for 3 seconds or so and his comment was" so, what do you want me to do about this and shoved the letter back at me. Trying to keep my professional demenor I stated that I have all appropriate documentation to present, and I just want to get my mail which has I have not recieved in almost 2 months. He rudely stated we dont have your mail, argued somemore with me when I asked him then how has my mail. He then slammed the door in my face. He did not even give me an idea of how to proceed from here. once again the two clerks clerks up front were laughing and ridiculed us the whole time out load in front of everyone in store. I have never been treated with such disrespect and borderline criminal activity as this. At this point my mail is being held somewhere from me, and I am going to persue mail tampering issues. I left this post office humiliated and got no answers as to how to persue this matter. Meanwhile all important bills and letters that addressed several important life issues are in limbo for 2 months. I am a cancer patient who is waiting on important health documentation. I am seeking legal action againts this branch for misconduct which in my eyes was borderline criminal and mail tampering charges. Have not heard the last of me yet !Kevin Forman read more

I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the rating they already have. A disrespectful gentleman, was very smug and demanding. He also wouldn't identify himself and given the public status of the building also violated civil rights, by attempting to restrict a journalist's right to film. He made false allegations and made false presumptions. Another gentleman stood by his side in agreement as well and given that no one else came out, we can likely assume one of them was the manager if not Postmaster. Bottom line, seems like this place has some serious management issues. Very unprofessional. And we pay for them... read more

Do NOT be fooled into believing "Overnight Guaranteed" for nearly $26 means anything. Simple letter from here to NYC took two days per their own website. When asked clerk to honor the guarantee he said no. They had proof the a central distribution center received it the next day. That it was not available to the client is irrelevant. They got me. 26 bucks. Don't let them get you. Guarantee is a scam. read more

Ed is an employee who took my call this morning and explained to me why my mail might not be picked up despite the flag being up. Apparently, if you have no mail being delivered, this is discretionary on the part of the carrier due to people leaving previously delivered mail in their box that could be sitting on top of outgoing mail causing the carrier to have to sort through. There are other reasons as well. It was nice to have a courteous gentlemen that was willing to take the time to go into a detailed explanation in a respectful manner as opposed to just getting me off the phone with a half-hearted apology. Many Thanks, Ed!!! read more

employees have always been sweet and helpful. Sometimes the line is a bit long, but I think this is mostly around rush hour. Besides that, I've never had trouble here and prefer this post office to most of the ones around me :) read more

I bought an item on ebay-received message that it was delivered to my mailbox. I live in an apartment-boxes are outside. Did not receive-went to post office and supervisor called carrier who said he would be out that afternoon to open front to see if he put in wrong box. I sat by the boxes for over 3 hours until well after 6pm.-no carrier. Went next morning, lady at window spoke to carrier who would check it when he delivers mail. That is too late. I posted a note at boxes and unfortunately not everyone is honest because it was not returned to me. NOT ACCEPTABLE-I cannot get money back from ebay under these circumstances. Others here have also had packages delivered to incorrect boxes. A DISCRACE and shame on them. read more

I noticed the American flag had not been flying at the New Britain, Pa. post office for several weeks. I asked the clerk why and his response, "call the Doylestown office". Actually, the clerk at the New Britain office is very rude. This is not the first time I have used this office and his mood is always the same. Not a nice man at all. I contacted the Doylestown, Pa. office and they assured me that the pole would be repaired and the flag would be flying. This issue has been going on since January 2019. It is now May 2019. The clerk in the Doylestown office as well as his co-worker in New Britain should be ashamed of themselves. Lazy and rude are understatements. read more

I would have to say the mail service in 18902 postal service which Iis Doylestown pa stinks. I live in fireside section one half gets there mail by 3 o'clock my section gets mail anywhere between 7 pm to 9 pm. Then some times we don't get mail at all like we just got 3 days mail yesterday. I can understand why the postal service is going broke maybe they need to get someone in to run it better. tried talking to doylestown post office that went no where, that's the problem in the world today...no one wants to do there job... read more

I have been using the Doylestown Post Office for more than 20 years and have always found the postal employees there to be very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Really nice people and excellent customer service. I am normally in and out again very quickly as they usually have several employees on duty to help and the line for service flows fast. Have been in this location thousands of times (had a post office box there for many years) and I cannot remember a bad experience there. Certainly deserve a 5 star rating. read more

This is by far the worst post office in my area. Long lines. No help. USPS lost a package worth over $200 that I sold on ebay. The package was out for delivery then lost in California. I called consumer affairs, they gave me phone numbers that were disconnected to call. In total frustration from nobody from USPS belong me, I went to the doylestown post office waited in line and all they said was that they cannot help me. How is that for paying 10. To send a package that disappears. Stay away from USPS and this post office. They do not give a shit about you. read more

Don't know for whom to feel more sorry, the counter employees or their customers. Three visits in two consecutive days. Long lines, only one and half counter employee (yes that is a good trick). Little old ladies come up to the counter from the back of the line and read the riot act to the non listening counter people. Line thirty deep. The one and half clerks are hunched over, one is weighing and placing postage on over a hundred small packages the size of a postcard brought by a woman in two totes. The other is going back and forth from the counter trying to figure out how to use software for a hand held postal device. Not the counter workers fault. NOT ENOUGH MANPOWER, should have three people on duty. NOT ENOUGH TRAINING, you don't throw someone on the counter that does not know how to use the software. NOT ENOUGH CARING. After the fiasco, tried calling the direct line to this office to talk to postmaster. The phone rang over 100 times on three attempts with no answer. Postmaster of Postmistress must not care or be on vacation. read more

I am very thankful for all that the Postal Service has done for us. They made it possible to write to old college roommates and pay bills fast and easily. I mail letters to my old friends a lot during the Summer. We should thank the Postal Service for what they did to our lives. I am very sad that people are emailing instead of writing letters and paying bills online and NOT through the mail. I subscribe to magazines using the Postal Service. I also write to pen pals. I must do something to raise their revenue before Saturday mail stops! Please help me somebody! Anybody! I will send a letter daily to get the Postal Service to have a higher revenue. I will truly miss USPS services if they stop permanently! I must say, paying bills through the mail is pretty darn easy! read more

Despite often being busy, the line always moves as quickly as possible. I've came in quite a few times and went to send a package and was instructed by the person working that it would be more cost efficient if I packaged my item differently. Tom at the Doylestown Post Office saved my entire next week's vacation by holding a package for me that was going to be sent back to Amazon b/c they would not deliver to a post office box. This was a part desperately needed to fix my truck. Living out in the boonies, all we have are post office boxes, however my street address is technically Doylestown, so there it was delivered. A horrible carrier from this post office yelled at my elderly mother calling her profanities because she forgot her mail box key. When I called to complain I was told elderly people are annoying and I should speak to my mother about bothering the mail carrier. Unbelievable.
