I've been using Valley Pack 'N' Mail for a couple years now. I am a business owner in the area and have a lot of things I need to ship out. Everytime I go in there I always get greated and helped as soon as they can. I've been in there times where they've gone above and beyond by getting me a tracking number on a package that I didn't purchase tracking for, just to ensure my package is on the correct path so I can update my customers. To top it off, I've never once been given a gift as a customer of an establishment. I remember last year I walked in the door a few weeks before Christmas and I was told to wait a second. Both Mindy and Scott had a bunch of Bag's with gifts inside of them I'm assuming for customers. I was given a specific bag because two years prior we were talking about how I was from New Jersey. Such a little detail they remembered about me, they got me a bottle of wine from a New Jersey Vineyard and said happy holidays and sent me on my way. Love these guys! read more

Poor service in sending a fed ex package back to manufacturer... the owner charged me a dollar to print a shipping label for this package return and never put the label on the package so fedex picked up the package from their store and since the original label was still on the package it was delivered back to me ... these people are incompetent do not use their services for anything .... read more

You got one thing right. The business side of things and the facts are two different things. It's a shame your business doesn't deal in facts. I always ask for the cheapest way to mail things and your brother never offered the USPS rate, not even after I told him $32 would be too much. read more

The ONLY UPS drop off location I've been to that will not scan and give a receipt at drop off. Every place else scans and gives receipt to prove drop Plenty if other options available that collect UPS packages correctly. read more

Great place to get FBI fingerprints done. It's quick, easy, and the lady who does the prints is really nice.

One man was in the store, no customers. I politely asked if he shipped Fedex, he said yes. "I'm bringing in 5 heavy boxes now." He watched as I struggled to open the door with one hand, heavy box other hand. He did not budge to help or just to hold his open the door. I gave him my fedex business account #. He said, "We don't ship unless it's our account." Why? "Because we don't!" I also heard "I got rent, lady. We need to make money! You wanna pay my bills?!" I understand it. OK. No prob. But his demeanor and comments were rude and small-minded. Perhaps make this clear to a customer before she lugs 5 heavy boxes. I carried each box out, struggling to open the door with box at chest. This man did not even offer to hold the door. He watched me. I am not arguing the fed ex policy. I understand. It was the the lack of customer service. The rent commemt was hugely unprofessional, cheap and classless. read more

I have maintained a mailbox here for many years and I only have good things to say. The staff is accommodating and dedicated, they call me if a package comes for me and I haven't been in to the store in a while. I can trust them to handle things for me that you simply could not at Staples or the other large chain stores. This is a local business run by local people, I for one prefer to spend my money here. The other reviews are a bit baffling. This is a convenience store, you are paying for the convenience of going to a smaller shop, with customer service and avoiding lines at the post office. You can come in and count on our packaging, mailing, notary, money order and many other needs to be taken care of in one place; reliably, every time. I send lots of small packages and tried to use these guys twice. Both times they were very rude. I will keep using Staples and the UPS store in Trevose who seem to value business. read more

I have been going there for years. If you're nice and want to ship something, they'll give you your choice and try to save you money. If you want to drop off a free shipping package and expect them to do something like tape it up, expect to pay for it. Did you know they don't get paid for the packages that you drop off for free? Do you want to get paid for working? Be nice, it might help. Obviously Yelp doesn't keep up posts unless you post more than once. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am 36 years old and for 16 years I have worked in the service industry (personal training and wedding entertainment). Never have I been a part of such selfish, unprofessional and disappointing service. I have no idea how they stay in business with the other reviews saying the same thing. I never shipped anything before. I used my own packing material but upon dropping off for shipping they inspected it and said "newspaper isn't recommended" That meant nothing to me. I assumed he meant it just didn't look good to the person I shipped to. I wound up paying for their box but told him I didn't care about the newspaper. I didn't think $5 for packing peanuts, or whatever, was worth it. At no point did the guy tell me it was not a safe way to ship. Long story short, the item was broken upon arrival. The item happened to be very rare and in beautiful shape...now ruined. My argument to the bonehead who runs this place was simple. We (the customers) don't always know what constitutes safe packing, so when an item looks like it may not be secure it is their duty to let us know - in clear, understandable language. He later said an item should be packed to withstand a 30 foot fall. Why the hell didn't he mention that when I was leaving the package there? He saw it and only said "they don't recommend newspaper" UPS paid for the item because the damage it received did seem to come from improper shipping/handling. Getting the check took over 2 weeks. They were not quick to help and at no point showed any remorse or sympathy for the trouble they caused. I had to argue with the owner in order to make my point. Bottom line: They watch their customers fail and struggle. He allowed me to send an item that he (with his admission later) knew didn't look to be safely packed. Their website says they guarantee safe packing. I assumed that in that promise they would tell me in no uncertain terms that my item needs better packing. If I as a personal trainer watched my clients squat incorrectly and they were subsequently injured, I would be sued and out of business in no time. But that is pretty much exactly what this place did. They have no idea how to treat a customer. read more
