This place does not open at 8:30AM. I stood outside waiting for 10-minutes, and I am confident that they probably wouldn't have open until 9:00 or 9:30. This is the absolutely worst USPS location I have ever been to. read more

Horrible. Twice in a row they could not deliver to a business that was open because the express carrier could not figure that receiving was at the loading dock. Even though the regular carrier can. The first time they then marked the package as picked up by the customer - me - at 6:30 am in the morning the next day. Only problem is that they don't open until 8:30 am. And I did not pick it up. They don't answer their phone either. Location needs better staff and new leadership because it gives the rest of the system a horrible image. read more

To be honest I have shipped out and received many packages with my local USPS here and I rarely have a complaint. The lines can tend to get long at times but it moves and the staff are friendly and attentive, especially compared to other locations (I find the some of the staff at the large flushing hub to be quite rude.) The postman who bring the mail to my house is well known in our neighborhood and is efficient and friendly. And he rings the bell when we have packages! I personally give this place a 5/5. The only suggestion I would have is some sort of drop box for big packages but sometimes there is a nice man by the back door who will take your pre paid packages if he sees you waiting in line. I've had the worst experience with this USPS! I was expecting a package that was supposed to be delivered on 12/9. I got a notice in the mail saying that my mail was unable to be delivered because no one was present to accept the package. Ok, fine.. The next day I RAN to the post office to make it minutes before 5PM and was told by a clerk that the package was on the truck. The clerk told me to come back the next day (today). Later on that evening while my fiancé was outside walking our dog, he happened to spot the mail courier delivering mail around our building. He asked him if he had the package and he said he didn't. First thing this morning, I go back over to the post office only to find out that my package is on the truck AGAIN. So I'm hopeful, thinking that the courier would actually deliver my package today. NOPE! I sat at home all day waiting. It is now 7:21PM on a Saturday night and I am still PACKAGELESS. While I was at the post office earlier, I overheard someone complaining of the same issue - he has been waiting 4 days for his package! Someone isn't cooperating. I don't know if its that specific clerk at the post office or the mail courier. Either the package is, in fact at the post office or the courier is just failing to deliver it. I just can't understand why my package is on the truck but is not being delivered? I will now request that all of my packages be delivered via UPS or Fedex if possible. The worst post office in Queens. They need more workers, the line is always long , no supplies , they need a cart or something so if you have already pre-Paid packages you can dump it in there INSTEAD of getting in the long line !!!! read more

This is the absolute worst post office I have ever been to. They do not have the proper supplies at a customers disposal so I had to wait in line to get the proper envelope needed to sent my letter with insurance and signature requirement. The lady at the counter told me I cannot sent a letter in such away, I explained my needs again and asked her to provide me with an envelope which meets my needs. The lady finally gives me the envelope I need and told me I needed to wait in line again once it is complete. Meanwhile her colleague allowed his customers to come directly back to the window once the had the proper envelopes.... Sigh Since I cannot boycott the post office from now on I will be using another post office to send outgoing mails such as this. read more

Avoid. Sometimes there's only one worker and if you are lucky there might be two at times. This location is so disorganized people want to be skipping and fighting over social distancing. The worker asked me to make a correction to the envelope and sees me doing the line and not once she called me and was calling other people first. Just please avoid for peace of mind, go to the main street or another location. read more

If you can give zero stars i would. They are horrible. I have lived in corona a year and a half and it is almost impossible to get your packages delievered. They either don't leave notice or leave notice without ringing bell or anything. The few times they delievered they would bang on our windows before even ringing bell and i mean bang not knock. Both my roommate and i have regularly missed days of work to stay home just to get alert attempted delivery failed and no one actually ever showed. Customer service always supposedly tries to help and say they will redeliver on time we request and still issues. This is just the last straw me and my roomie been waiting on package to be delievered for almost 2 weeks and they keep saying no one home or failed delivery on the days one of us was home not getting anything done because we are stuck in the house from morning till end of delivery time with nothing to show for it. Just got alert that they couldn't deliver today and i have been home waiting my window all day. Haven't turned tv on or music so i could hear the bell which the dogs would've lerted me to anyway. I go out and there isn't even a note for attempted delivery. Where is notice if you were here? They are just horrible. read more

Worst post office I've ever been too and worst experience ever. I recommend avoiding this post office at all costs. I was there not too long ago, waited about an hour in an extremely long line just to pick up a package. When my turn was up I went up to a window, the female attendant (short hair/Asian descent) asked me what I needed, I told her I was picking up a package. She laughed and looked at her co worker (the supposable manager by the name of Louie Nieves) and asked him whether she should send me to him (he was the one who disrupted the line order and started taking package pick up slips at the last half hour of the post office closing), and I heard him say yes. So she looked at me and said "go over there to his line to pick up your package." I was a bit upset and feared that I would have to wait another half hour so I asked her if he would take me next since I was next in the main line and she said yes. I didn't think it was fair to have to wait in another line again because she didn't want to service me and thought I should be serviced only by Louie's last minute package pick up line. I went over to his line, Louie as he said his name was, was at the moment with a customer and there was someone else next in line (he had arrived to the post office about 5 minutes prior) and I asked the young man if he would mind me going in front of him and being next to pick up my package since that was what the Asian attendant had stated I'd be next in Louie's line. The young man had no problem with it and said go ahead. When Louie finished servicing the person he was helping, I went up next and he looked at me and said "next, you have to wait in the line, the person behind you (the young man who let me go In front of him) is my customer and he is next, you are not my customer." I had explained to him what had happened and that the Asian lady stated I would be serviced next and right away. There was no point in me waiting in another line when I was next in a line I had been standing in for the past hour! Louie showed no sympathy he said "you're not my customer you have to wait until after I'm done with MY customers because they are in my line." He was referring to the last minute line he started so that he wouldn't have to stay working later, it was about 4:30 pm and the main line was LONG, about 30-40 ppl). I was so upset by the unprofessional way he handled the whole situation and asked to speak to a supervisor. He stated, "I am the supervisor." I said, "then you should understand what I'm trying to tell you and how you are handling things is completely unpractical and unprofessional. I am going to file a complaint about you." He showed indifference and stated, "go ahead complain about me, make as many complaints as you want. You're not my customer, he is (pointing at the young man)." I was so upset with the situation and how things were handled, given that I couldn't speak to anyone else I asked him for his name (Louie Nieves - Hispanic, dark skinned, middle aged man) and now sharing the story here. That is not way a manager should treat customers and I am sure I am not the only one he's treated this way, I observed the way he interacted with customers during my wait in this long line and it was not pleasant. read more

I wish there was an option to give zero stars because this location really deserves it. The workers here are insanely rude. I always buy my Shipping labels and package everything at home to save time so anytime I go to the post office is strictly to drop off packages. Yet they always have issues here. The people who go here never know what they want or what they are doing making the line ridiculously long. They do not have a separate window like most USPS location for prepaid packages. This place does not work efficiently. Also it is located in a Spanish speaking area and the language barrier here is a serious issue because when my Spanish speaking family member comes her (also with prepaid and packaged boxes) they give her issues and won't accept her packages knowing she cannot speak English and communicate with them. They give her issues although she is using USPS bought boxes. I take these same exact boxes to every other location no problem but they want to make it an issue because she cannot fight back. While this place is walkable for me I drive all the way to FH or junction in order to avoid this location where instead of waiting 30 mins to drop off a package I can run in and out of the FH location within a minute. Also I would schedule pickups to my house but the many times I have done that they never come anyway. Please save yourself the time and frustration and avoid this location at all cost. It is not worth the hassle. If driving is not an option there are two locations on Junction Blvd that are much better. read more
