Absolutely disgusted with this location on 138 in Conyers. I shipped a box of clothing and to a mother in need of clothing for her daughter and someone at this facility opened the he box and stole all but 1 item. I always drop pckgs off during lunch and they always leave this facility the same day. This pckg was delayed for 2 days at this facility which is odd. I am going to file the insurance claim as well as contact the US Postal inspection department. This is absolutely disgusting. read more

Came here very early, a few minutes before they open and ive been waiting for 30 minutes. Usually they open earlier on Thursday's so there is a very long line. I know the holidays are a very busy time, but if hours have changed they should at least update them. As of right now their "updated hours" says they open at 8am on Thursday's. read more

This particular post office is your typical post office. Service moves along, but it is definitely moves along at the laid back pace that the employees set. No real issues, but I left with just feeling that I accomplished another task on my to-do list. I guess that I will give it three stars. read more

I hate this location. How the hell do you give someone's package to someone else? My package required my signature and ID. You all failed to do your job correctly. Thank God the person told them it wasn't their package, yet they still can't find it. read more

The driver today decided that she didn't wanna bring my mail to the door but it was as ok to sit it on the ground in front of my car nails that I needed to sign for lol. Just waited in line for 45 mins to buy an envelope. The staff didn't bother to say, please be patient or acknowledge the delay. Two of the three workers were being trained by the third. Also, they seemed to be doing a lot of small talk with customers that appeared to delay the work flow. I won't be back. I'll choose UPS or FedEx as much as possible. read more

Regarding exceptionally unprofessional behavior of a postal worker on June 4th, 2021 around 4:00. (Post worker is female, overweight, with long braids.) For an order of fertilized eggs sold on ebay, I paid for shipping online and went to the post office in Conyers to drop them off. Although I had wrapped them in bubble wrap, I didn't want to put them in the metal shoot since it might turn them and hit hard on landing. A female postal worker came from the back to ask the patrons if they had tried to use the kiosks. The line was to the front door. As she began heading back, I asked her if she could take my prepaid package back with her and explained why I didn't want to put them in the shoot. I was due to pick up my son from work at 5:00 and didn't think I would make it in time if I wait in line. She attempted to chastise and humiliate me in front of other patrons and my little girl by speaking rudely to ask if I "think the post office will hand carry my package." My fear was that she would abuse my package of two dozen eggs, even though I attempted to be polite regardless of her abuse. A few days later, my customer messaged me to tell me that he is a currier and that there is no excuse for the condition of the box from the post office. Almost all of the eggs were broken and the likelihood of hatching anything after being aggressively treated is low for the remaining few. So, the results are, my customer will not have hatchlings until late July, after his incubator is empty and I send him more eggs at my expense. I went in search of a missing package. Everyone was so helpful and professional. Marcus, the supervisor on duty, even gave me a follow up call to make sure I received my package. I was honestly beside myself! I didn't expect anyone to care, but everyone did. WOW! Was it busy, yes. Was it only one person working the desk, yes. Given the situation, everyone could've easily been just as frustrated as I was and just as cold as ALL the customers in line. Instead, one of the mail carriers came out to help get the long line down until she had to get to her route. They are the epitome of what teamwork and customer service should look like. My mail was on hold. It was supposed to be delivered on October 31. A few pieces of junk mail came on October 31. On November 1 another few pieces of junk mail came and that was all. I knew I was missing a lot of mail so I went to the Conyers post office on 138. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful And went to the back to check for my mail. He did come out with several pieces of mail and the acknowledgment that showed that my mail was supposed to be delivered all of the mail on October 31. The next day November 2 a stack of mail was delivered and wrapped with a rubber band which is the usual procedure for delivering hold mail I don't know what in the world happened. Several pieces of mail were delivered to my house late due to the lack of personnel organizing the mail for delivery. I am totally dissatisfied with the delivery service. read more

This post office needs immediate attention! The women that work there every last one of them have terrible attitudes, rude, and they don't greet you. I just moved to GA and this is Now my Local Post office, I never had any problems until today at 3PM. Two employees to the far left of the counter kept yelling at the customers including myself as if we stole something. I was simply reaching over to grab an envelope for my package and was reprimanded as if I were a child, furthermore all they did was loudly Complain About the Customers right in front of our faces and even Said they should start locking the Doors on Us! Yes we are in the middle of a Pandemic but Being NICE really goes a long way. Luckily FRED assisted me with my package and unlike his Rude CO Workers you can tell he greeted me with a Smile underneath his mask and a Friendly Positive Attitude, his voice was Upbeat and very welcoming, he did not make me feel afraid to ask questions. Thank You Fred for Being so kind and helping me to figure out the most affordable way to send my packages. This Post office can use More Employees Like Fred for sure, the true definition of Southern Hospitality. read more

I have mailed two checks to different banks, they never receive it. I mailed one to a bank in Lithonia, the bank never received it. Recently over a week ago, I mailed a check to the bank in the low country in South Carolina, the bank never receive it. Now my checking account is in the negative. Possibly the worst US Post Office I've used. Packages were stolen and reported to USPS (over four official claims) and an official police report. Although my previous Portland, Oregon USPS manager called me that day. So I placed a month long Hold on my Mail, but kept receiving my mail. I had to physically visit the Conyers post office to which the sales / customer service agent looked bewildered and confused. She then confessed their manager rarely if ever printed out the online hold request to give to local carriers (which I suspect sounds like a mangers job !) so I filled out a physical hold mail form. By this time, it was near the end of the month. Two weeks before my Hold Mail ended, per my online mail hold and Stolen Mail Claim, the Manger calls stating she didn't see a Hold Mail Request. I never called back and finally purchased a third party mail box to avoid mail problems w the Conyers branch. They are by far The Worst USPS branch!! read more

Poorly operated. Inefficient if not criminal handling of mail and parcel. In October 2022 I purchased a Post Office Box. I was instructed to direct all parcel items to the Post Office address instead of my Post Office Box. To date, out of (7) parcel items I have only received (3). I spoke with the on-site staff and the Post Master and was always assured the matter would be investigated and resolved. I never received a notice to pick up my parcel nor were they delivered to me. I was contacted by one company that sends my parcel , which is medical, and (2) of my items were sent back with the notation "Customer refused the delivery ". Horrible and not true. I think when the staff at this horrendous facility where finally able to sort through the "backlogged items" they saw it convenient to return to the original sender and lie. The facility staffing levels are dangerously low and the paying customers and community suffer. Federal government intervention is a must with this level of noncompliance and lack of accountability. read more

I had a package that I paid extra for to be delivered today. When I checked the status online, it said the carrier was not able to access my door and now won't be delivered until THREE DAYS later. After calling the post office, I was told it wasn't delivered because my apartment complex office was closed which it was NOT. So apparently their drivers are just too lazy to do their job because they obviously did not even check nor attempt to deliver it to my door. Very irritated!! read more

Typical post office. Seems like they take forever to process a transaction. If I need to ship something I go to FedEx or the UPS store. If I need stamps or mail large envelope I use the machine in the lobby. The only time I go to the counter is to pick up a package that won't fit in the PO Box. It takes them way to much time. read more

Friendly and efficient. But extremely busy. Definitely suggest going to the other post office near the library in Conyers instead.

Very fast and efficient. I visit each week and rarely have to wait more than a few mins, because they have several counter agents working. Good customer service. The parking lot is a little hairy with so many cars pulling in and out. Try not to park next to a SUV or any large vehicle so you can see clearly when you cautiously back up and all should be good. read more
