I had a package lost by USPS for my son in the military at Ft Carson. I have been calling, emailing and begging anyone at USPS to help me with no resolution. I have spoken to over 8 USPS employees/managers with no help at all. Once I put in another request for help with my situation, I had the nicest, kindest, understanding man call me back from Ft Carson, I hope I spell his name right (Hendrick) because he needs to be recognized for his kindness and understanding. He helped me more than any USPS employee I have spoken to in a month. He went through every tracking review until we found the problem. Though we did not find my son's package yet (Prayers we do) he actually cared about what I was going through as military mom and veteran wife. I can't say I've physically been inside this Post Office on Fort Carson but I have called a few times on the phone an every time I have called I've always gotten a postal worker to answer within 3 rings , not only were they professional, polite knowledgeable they answered the phone the tracking service was second to none , try the branch on west 8th , good luck getting those folks to answer the phone over there I called on a Tuesday 5 minutes after they opened , 5 times I tried in a few hours to this day haven't gotten them to answer a phone , go there to mail letters & parcels or to pickup my mail when the out source delivery boneheads can't figure out how to deliver my packages ! So considering all around service I am always satisfied to present day. read more

Waited in line for awhile just for me to get to the front and him tell me I have to go home and print out a label for international shipping. Asked him do they not have that there (considering I always been able to get it at the post office) just for him to tell me no. I hate folks who don't try to help the customers and have the "oh well attitude" which is what he had. Ticked me off. What if I didn't have a printer to print that? Since when don't the post office have that there? Ridiculous. He's garbage and they need to get someone who's more willing to help their customers. read more

This is the worst post office i've had the disprivilege of going to. They told us that our mailbox key would be ready within a week, likely by last Tuesday. It is now Saturday, after hours, and our key is not done. We now have to wait until Monday, and we have several packages in the mailbox waiting due to the key taking quite a bit longer than anticipated. Needless to say, they're not doing a very good job. This is the worst post office I have ever been to. There are litterally no one ever at the desk - all the paycheck collecting parasites are always hiding in the back to the point where customers become frustrated and leave or have to yell for service. The people here are extremely rude and provide you treatment equivalent to that of a drug dealer being questioned by the police. What a dump! DO NOT* get a PO Box at this USPS. U can't pick up u stuff the day it delivered and may not even be the next day. They will not help u for most of the forms and tags instead they tell u to go online and print over there. The UPS next door way better. read more

The worst experience I have ever had at a post office. Right off the bat, their phone number is no good. It just rings and rings for 5 minutes and then immediately hangs up. I've tried to call over a dozen times to get my missing mail issue sorted out but it's actually impossible to get ahold of this post office since the phone number is no good. They're holding all of my mail and not forwarding it to my forward address, which I submitted over 2 weeks ago! Please avoid this place at all costs, they will just waste your time. read more

Always long lines, employees often peek out at the long wait and then leave one or two to wait on customers. We put in a hold mail for vacation a month ahead of time and they immediately started holding our mail 3 weeks earlier than the date specified. When I went in they denied it and said they didn't have any of our mail. Same day my husband called and they said they did have our mail. So we canceled the hold and put it back on two days before traveling. When we got home we found they never held any mail this time. The next week I sent something out registered mail with return receipt, never received the receipt back and I'm pretty sure the recipient never received the envelope. I've never had so many problems with a local post office. They really need to get their act together. Oh and also, our daughter moved for college and put in a change of address form. More than a month later her receipt of mail where she's at is spotty and some is still coming here (no rerouting labels at all). read more

Very slow. Usually only one person working the desk, and it typically takes a long time even if there aren't many people. DON'T come here during lunch, unless you want to wait in line for 2 hours. The line is much longer and slower during that time. There aren't usually any labels except Priority Mail ones and customs forms, so be prepared to bring your own or buy one there. Same goes for tape. Service is always friendly, but I don't come to this one unless I have to. read more

Worst post office I've seen. Regret getting a P.O Box here. Literally 3 people actually work here. 2 that work at the counter and a mysterious box organizer that gets off at 10am. If you get a box shipped here and happened to get delivered 0930 or later your fucked. Come back the next day or Monday if it's Saturday. On occasions the staff are a little rude but there not bad. It's just if you get a Package and you ask about it there like sorry can't help. They need to be sifted threw and are person for that is gone. then I will go back there and "sift" thru your shit then. The hours for this post office are fucking terrible 9am-4:30pm on week days, a regular post office is like 9am-6pm. read more

I hate being at their mercy for deliveries. Leaving packages in front of people's doors when they are not home which are valued at close to 100 dollars is not smart. If our designated mail boxes in the cul-de-sac are full, then I would prefer a note informing me that there is a package for me for pickup at the post office. Don't just drop and leave. The package is nowhere to be seen, neighbors don't have it. Now I am stuck not having my merchandise on time. Furthermore, upon inquiring what had happened to my package, it took over 30 minutes on hold just to find out the package had been dropped at the door yet when I inquired who the mail carrier in charge was, nobody had an answer. Asked the supervisor to call me back with a name and never heard from them again. Don't even get me started on the long lines inside the facility. Dealt with many post offices throughout our many military moves but so far, this one has been by far the worst!!! Very unhappy and frustrated all around. read more
