First: over two months ago we brought in an Amazon return-no box needed. They scanned my QR code, I took my receipt and moved on. Fast forward nearly two months later Amazon has re-charged me for their item because it never made it to them-and I foolishly threw my UPS receipt away so there's nothing they can do. Not only am I out $100+ but now I don't have the item either. Frustrating to say the least. So keep your receipt. Second, I brought in a box that was sent to the previous occupant of the house I bought. I tried explaining that "this box needs be to returned to the sender because the addressee is no longer at the listed address." Rushed and not caring, she set the box aside. So per usual this place has frustrated me yet again. Over a year or so ago I brought a package in that I was returning from Amazon... Which on Amazon it said no box no label needed. I brought it in. I was told that I needed to box and tape it... I don't have a box, I don't have tape which is convenient that they have all that to sell you. The lady was rude and unhelpful so I stopped using them for a long time. recently, I have begun to use them again because I had heard that it had gotten better from people that also experienced that. I just went in this morning to return something again that stated no box no label needed. The woman who I'm almost certain is the same person from the last time, tells me it needs to be boxed and taped, as she's taking my item... She's unpleasant, and informs me that in the future, it needs to be boxed and taped. I tell her well, it said that it didn't need that when I did the return. She then blames corporate for not getting this fixed, that they've been complaining about this for a month... well it's been an issue for a lot longer than that... this may not be her fault as she said... But I am the customer, I am following directions that are online... to show your annoyance with something I didn't know needed to be done instead of just taking the item and dealing with it. We had a simple request for copies of three packages of information that were each paperclipped. We specifically asked "please do not mix them up". Super simple, copy one stack, paper clip back together and repeat process for the remaining 2 packages of documents. The woman behind the counter mixed up all the documents and as icing on the cake - forgot some on the printer! Please train your staff, and if they are incapable of a simple print request - replace your staff. I tried to call to speak to a manager while in the parking lot. There isn't one customer in the store and NO ONE is answering the phone. This business is an example of everything that is wrong in the world of customer service. I've been hunting the same package down for a week. The only question I had was if the package was there or not. I didn't need someone else digging through to find the same information I've been fed all week. Either my stuff is there, or it's not. Since it wasn't, I had to move to the next location. Low and behold, my package was at another location, a plane or shouldn't have gone. My daughter was sending me a Christmas gift from my grandbabies I live in Sanford North Carolina now I used to live in Fountain Colorado. I moved six months ago my daughter put my physical address on the package for some reason the UPS store covered up her address and also my physical address and it went to the store on fountain Mesa Ridge I called and talk to someone asked them could they redirect my package to me I paid $13.04 Outside of the $26 my daughter paid to have it shipped to me for it to come to my current address here in North Carolina three times this package has been redirected back to fountain Mason Ridge UPS store someone called me today and said that upon my request Denver said to send it back to them which is a ball faced LIE. The only people I have talked to has been two ladies at the fountain Mesa Ridge store the young lady told me today that they don't do refunds I could call corporate office but she refused to give me a number and told me they weren't going to do anything but yet and still I'm not receiving this package from my grandbabies this is absolutely ridiculous So this is the response I get after (screenshot it the first photo their response ) writing a review on the Facebook page about my experience with the store in Fountain Colorado such professionals suggest that I should use only the US Postal Service from now on even though I am not the original sender of this package my daughter was sending me a gift for my granddaughter. If you need notary service don't bother! After calling yesterday to see if they had a notary on sight the young lady on the phone assured me they did and that they would be available until four. I said it would be better if I came in the next morning. She again assured me someone would be there and gave me all the required information I would need to have. Planned my route to get this done first thing in the morning. I walked in 10 minutes after opening, waited for the lady in front to get done and I stated I called about notary service yesterday. I was then told the notary was out for the next two weeks!!! Then she, the owner, said her notary had expired! Thank you for wasting my time. Yes I was p!ssed, who wouldn't be. Why would someone tell you that a service could be provided and then not be able to provide it. If this could not be done then tell customers it is not possible. Don't lie. if zero was a choice that's what I would rate this UPS store. I brought in a heavy Amazon return to this location, so that the driver wouldn't have to pick it up from my second floor apartment.... To be NICE.! I changed the pickup address to this UPS store for UPS's convenience. Amazon let me know a driver had been dispatched to do the pickup and that the driver will provide the label. Instead of just taking the item, she imm got an attitude. Then she proceeded to tell me that " if a driver doesn't pick up the package that she will throw it in the dumpster like the other Packages that aren't picked up" Obviously, this was rude, ridiculous and confrontational. You just Throw peoples packages away??? . at first, I attempted to assured her the item would be picked up, she then begins complaining that they have "over 200 drivers" and kept trying to make excuses to not accept my package. I proceeded to tell her, i will be sure it's picked up.... She very rudely and sarcastically tells me "well yeah, ok, you got ahead and do that then" in the most snide disgusting tone possible. At this point in stopped being nice, since she has already lied over and over again and threatened to throw my Amazon return in the trash. We went into get color copies, the price was high but we wanted them anyway. We requested them cut in half and the rep said nothing and made the copies. We inquired that we wanted them cut and they said "oh our cutter is broken" something we should have been informed of before they made the copies. The manager came out and made a rude remark to us. Hit and miss with this store. Sometimes the service is average and sometimes, if a certain a staff member is working, not. I only go to this store because it is close to home but if FedEx at Walgreens accepted Amazon returns, I'd rather go there. The Asian looking lady who works at this UPS store is rude and gives off the vibe that she hates her job. In fact, her attitude is that she'd rather have you do business somewhere else. Once I called to inquire about a service, she said they did and even made a suggestion that XXX store @ xxx location also does the same thing. Mind you, I never told her where I was calling from. Must have figured it out from the caller ID. Another time, I tried using their printing services online then attempted to pick it up in person at a scheduled time. I head to the store and was told they never even check their online inbox orders. The same lady proceeds to look at my order and told me she cant print it in that size because the machine can only do a certain size. So I went back to my seller to order said size, then sent it to UPS again. They contacted me to tell me their printer is now broken and to wait Monday when the person who can fix it comes. I ended up going to Office Depot instead and got the print the same day in more than one size and with better customer service. During numerous visits at this store to drop off Amazon packages or mail, I have observed the same person exhibit sub par and rude service to other customers. I thought it was just me but a quick Google search confirmed that there were other people who had similar experiences as well. It is unfortunate that those who live closely have to put up with that. The other ladies are nicer than her but sometimes, the rude demeanor overflows and extends to them. I'm not asking for red carpet treatment but decent human being interaction would be nice. I was not even talking to her, I was talking to another employee, she jumped into our conversation and was rude. Why did she not just sit it out if she wanted to be dismissive?
