I placed my mail on hold for 2 weeks but when the hold ended, the accumulated mail was never delivered. The whole purpose of the mail hold service is to ensure your mail is safely kept and then delivered once I return. I had to follow up multiple times and opened cases to find out what happened, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The office said they delivered it, but I never received my mails so I lost all my mails for that entire two weeks hold. I have important medical mails that was lost. They told me to just call the medical facility to resend. But now my personal information are compromised because this post office delivered my mails somewhere else. Looking at the reviews, it seems pretty common for mails to get lost or mishandled by the delivery. That should be investigated. read more

I went to drop off a package to be mailed the other day. It was the first time I have ever mailed anything in my life so I wasn't aware I had to tape it myself. The employee that worked their told me very rudely that the don't tape boxes for free. They could have nicely told to make sure I tape it next time. I was so embarrassed. This Post Office is the worst. I have a PO Box and EVERY TIME i go to it I have someone else's mail in my slot. If I went 20x last year, at least 18x I had someone else's mail. Every now and then, I end up with a piece at home and then have to go to the trouble of re-closing it and mailing it again. I have spoken to them at the counter about it, too. No one seems to care. The box is expensive to boot. In 2022 I also sent a piece of mail and paid for POD. They lost it. Completely. The system is such that if I did not go and complain, no one would have even said anything. On top of everything else, their service delivery times get worse all the time. I addressed my label with 1 address and they created a label and delivered it to another. Local post office showed me picture of my package and that's were we discovered the honest mistake on the part of the teller, however my insurance claim was denial because it was delivered to the incorrect address. The tellers there are great however mistakes happen end of the day USPS is accountable for the mistakes but in the mean time I have to redo and resend the package on my dime. This is very bad customer service and to offer insurance is a marketing vail of deceit, especially since they never intended to honor the insurance! read more

It's your typical post office, complete with supplies and post office boxes. Like most post offices I go to, no one seems to be in a hurry here and the line always seems to move at a snails pace. Postal workers are polite, but not overly friendly. Mailboxes located outside if you need to drop something off after hours. Shipping supplies inside including free USPS priority shipping boxes. Would like to see some sort of vending machine for stamps so that you don't have to wait in line. read more

Giving them a 2 instead 1 because, what do you expect? Post offices blow. This one in particular has driven me extra crazy (or postal, ya). I've had many packages delivered to the wrong address. When I call they tell me, just tell Amazon, they'll refund you. Promises of call backs never happen. AND if you want to stand in line at any hour of the day, come here! Your dreams will be fulfilled. Come on, sell stamps through a machine. Oh, and my mailman jams my packages and mail in my mailbox to the point I've broken nails trying to get it out. Fun fun. read more

I live in an apartment complex and my packages are CONSISTENTLY delivered to the wrong building. I've literally had to walk around the entire complex and check every building's doorstep to find my my package on several occasions. The letters on our buildings are marked clear as day if the employees would put in an ounce of effort to deliver them to the correct building. read more

I wish there was an option to give them a negative number. My mail and packages have been forwarded to someone else with my same name. I lost about $60 in packages. When I discovered the issue I called to fix the problem and stop a delivery in transit. Instead of being helpful, the clerk laughed at me and was extremely rude. If you are used to the comparatively efficient post offices in Pottstown (Lemon St) or Oaks, or competently staffed ones in Royersford or King of Prussia, you will find your time here most unpleasant. And you will spend time here. Lots of time here. Clerks with poor English skills move just as slowly as the idle chit chatty veterans just waiting for their retirements. I own an hvac company and my important packages get lost daily. They are delivered by this post office specifically by the carrier who looks like he's 16 and blasts the music from his van taking up the 3 parking spots. I call the post office to complain and they laughed and said they are firing him. Not funny when I overnight parts for heaters and AC units. read more

These guys used to be o.k. One or two of the front desk people are nice & helpful but overall they are very inept. They never hold my mail when I submit and online request and their phone has gone right to the 'closed' message for days....even though they are open. I told the supervisor about it, but she hasn't changed it yet. But what can you do? read more

This specific post office used to be great, but in the last few years, I don't know what's happened. The usual extremely slow lines with clerks who move like tar, maybe totally bored with their work but then, hey, get another job. The biggest problem, however, is their total disregard for delivering mail to the correct address. I weekly get someone's else's mail in my box, so who knows where mine goes. I used to just bring the mis-delivered mail to my neighbor, but last year got so fed up with it, I took time out of my life and stood in line at the Collegeville PO to speak with a manager and give him all the mis-delivered mail I had gotten . . including a few credit card bills. He said he'd look into it. Same problems still happening. In my opinion, this branch should be totally restaffed or else closed down. It's a disgrace! read more
