What a damn joke. Clifton Passport Center/post office website says they have 11 people processing passports...unless this means they have 11 people who CAN process passports and ONE person works every 11 days they are simply lying. Line was out the door when they opened and they have one person working. Not her fault so I won't take it out on her, but this is ridiculous. In fact, the woman who helped us was actually awesome. A second employee started helping after they were already open for an hour and fifteen minutes. And here's another thing...before you show up here and start bitching about the policies and procedures and forms and prices maybe you should READ about them instead of complaining because YOU don't have things filled out correctly or you don't have all your documentation. Stupid people REALLY make things terrible in an already frustrating environment. read more

I recommend to fill up all the paperwork before you get there and make sure you bring all your documents ready. And a check to fill out with the right amount they ask you. It was very easy I waited for my number to be called and it took not even 10 mins I was out of the place In 20 mins and got 1 passport renewed and two passports :) there is an Asian lady who is the nicest of all I was hoping she helped us when it was our turn. I seldom go to the Post Office, usually to drop off a Posh Mark sale or to mail of a certified letter. This location is fairly effocient . if there are lines, it moves fairly fast. I will say my most recent visit two weeks back the lines were very long due to COVID however, they offered contactless drop off if your packages that were premarked. read more

Unless you know what you're doing & have been through the ringer beforehand - the employees in this post office are very hit or miss depending on how their day went. USPS in general has been extremely upsetting - I manage a poshmark (online retail business/boutique) & I consistently mail packages out & having one RIGHT DOWN MY STREET use to be so convenient but now I have to CONSTANTLY make 1.5 mile trip just to drop off a package at the post office & if I need help of any sort- god forbid you ask any of the employees because they'll only try to make you feel stupid or get you to dish out more money for your package. read more

The counter staff here is fine and I love my regular mail carrier, but if you ever have to deal with the supervisor prepare yourself for a Bad Time. I called about a missing international package that was showing as delivered to my house but I never received it. Right away, she started actually screaming "what do you expect me to do?" and "are you finished?" after everything I said. She refused to direct me to where I could make a complaint about her, but I have half a brain and found the information on the website. She insisted that my package was stolen because a different mail carrier delivered that package and he's a good guy, then jokingly said I should call the police because it wasn't her problem. Nevermind that the tracking showed the package being delivered 5 hours earlier, and my regular mail carrier did delivery that day - like he does the same time every day - and I even saw him because I was home all day, with 2 dogs that never made a sound when this supposed super early delivery guy AND thief came by. She refused to help or offer information that made sense in any way. It was constant shouting and sarcastic remarks. She claimed to have technology that could pinpoint exactly where the package was delivered, and she started naming streets nowhere near my house. I asked if I could have a printout of whatever she was looking at to at least have something to show the shipper and she said no, I couldn't even look at it. All she had to do was listen to me from the start instead of acting like I was somehow ruining her day, and realize that I already contacted the shipper and took steps to file a claim online for a missing package, but the claim would not go through and told me to contact my local USPS for assistance. What a joke! She was too busy talking to other people in the background (and screaming at me to HOLD ON) or shouting over me. Total nightmare experience. I am a clerk in a NYC criminal court for over 10 years and I've never treated or been treated the way this woman treated me today. She should 100% be fired for her behavior but, like me, she's protected by a cushy government job. The system at it's WORST. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because my regular mail carrier is friendly and fantastic - he gets 5 stars. read more

Slowest post office I've ever been to, but the staff is extremely friendly. There is a plethora of parking spots, and it is next to a Walgreens which is perfect when I need to buy a bubble envelope when I sent books. There are also self service kiosks, but they do not do media mail or international mail. read more

Lines are long sometimes but staff is very helpful and friendly. There are a lot of parking spots and self service kiosks which is great.

The lines for passport applicants are long and slow moving over the weekend. I also can't believe that they don't let my friends 83 year old father use the bathroom. What are we spending our tax dollars on? read more

Recently moved from Jersey city and what a difference !! This post office is so great and move quickly ! Kathy helped me out and was so pleasant and patient with a great attitude ! The guys inside are nice but I have to give a bad rating because as soon as I walked in I weren't top the self serve kiosk and it was not working I almost left I didn't know that there were more kiosk inside they should state that. Also don't waste your time trying to call, they will never ever pick up the phone. Seriously never! I even called the next nearest post office and asked for them to help me get through because I lost something every important there and, then even stayed that the post office on main will not pick up the phone! read more
