I eventually found it and am now writing this review to do everyone else a favor. You're welcome! This post office is located near Columbia Mall, but you'll want to enter off of Little Patuxent Parkway. It's inside one of the shorter office buildings directly behind the mall and across from Merriweather/Symphony woods. The issue is that the storefront is not street-facing, so you'd have no idea it was there at all until you turned in. I believe the building is called the American City Building and there is a BB&T ATM nearby. Once you actually find it, you'll see that there are a couple of parking spots out front and plenty in the garage directly across from it. The lobby is on the smaller side with little packing space, so I'd suggest packing at home then dropping off. From what I learned, the end of the counter is the de facto drop off space for packages that are already posted and ready to go (as long as you don't need a tracking receipt). I didn't catch her name, but the blonde employee was so kind and courteous despite there being a line down the hall at 4:50pm, with a 5pm closing time. So happy to have written this review and gotten it off my chest because I was going around in literal circles around the mall lol.

Expect to have however, incredibly long lines with only 1 or 2 employees service their customers. Parking is readily available with ample spaces in a private lot. Be careful as there are many cars coming in and leaving the facility so I've witnessed a few accidents in the parking lot.

Some of these young low seniority employees at this place are pitiful. They would then have the ability to choose a better work location. I'd have an attitude and scheme to avoid my work as well if I worked in a warm raisin box 5-6 days a week. You must crawl before you walk. Some folks really know the reason they're working for the USPS and the fill ins are struggling to get it. I appreciate my regular carrier to the fullest. The worst possible experience every time we have problems with our mail delivery. We live about a…read morequarter mile from this office and receive other people's mail at least three days a week and god knows how much of our mail has never been delivered for the same reason. When you complain, everyone shrugs and apologizes and says "it's a contracted route." They literally do zero to be helpful when we've had hundreds of dollars of merchandise delivered to the wrong house, delivered damaged, or not delivered at all. Whether it's a USPS employee or a contractor, someone has to be able to do something when our mail is so consistently mishandled but they don't even pretend to try.

It's only $5 there vs $15 everywhere else! This post office was very clean and had plenty of parking, we did go at one on a Friday so maybe that's a good time to go! This location is very efficient, the staff is friendly, whoever owns this branch/ manager needs to train the other locations on etiquette and efficiency. I'm so grateful that this location is just up the street from me, even if i lived an hour away, this location is so worth the drive! The other postal offices i have been to have been very slow, they don't care about us having to wait and just seem to have an attitude all the time. So it's refreshing to see a location where everyone isn't miserable and with great customer service!
