I urge everyone to file official complaints online or by phone with the USPS customer support center. We pay for this service, it needs to operate correctly. Local complaints are obviously being ignored. You can file a complaint via the USPS website at https://emailus.usps.com/emailUs/iq/usps/request.do?forward=emailus or by telephone at 1-800-275-8777. Yelp reviews are not complaints and the local management obviously does not care.
This post office and the postal service for this area is unsatisfactory, to say the least. I have personally received poor service in 3 areas of paid (tax money and direct payment) service by the USPS in this area.
I ordered two parcel locker keys from the USPS. I was told to return a week later to pick them up. I returned every day that week and was told the keys were not available for pickup. I tried 3 more additional times the following week with the same result. My roommate attempted to pick up the keys the last day I tried and was successful.
I've received several different mail articles from several different addresses in my area, to my parcel box. This is apparently a common issue in the neighborhood and neighbors quite frequently have to re deliver sensative mail to the proper address. Sensative mail that was trusted to the USPS and paid for.
Prior to moving to my home I resided a couple houses away. During my temporary stay I ordered a couple items from Amazon that were shipped through USPS. Three packages failed to be delivered to either the residence or it's associated parcel locker. Weeks after moving into my permanent residence, the home owner of the temporary residence told me this post office was holding the packages and that I needed to pick them up or they would be returned to sender on the 18th. I went to this office today to pick them up and was told the packages weren't there. The USPS system showed the packages had been delivered to a parcel locker. I have contacted Amazon and filed a complaint with the USPS online.
Additionally, while I was at this office today to pick up my packages, a customer complained of neighbor's mail being delivered to her. The clerk wrote the info down on a piece of paper and said the supervisor would review it. Obviously the supervisor is as negligent as the postal delivery person because this is a continuous issue. read more
