Today at 12:50 pm USPS recorded my friend's package was delivery to my house. I have a video camera pointing at the door, showing the mailman did come, but did NOT leave any package. Haven't had a bad experience here. They usually have two workers at the counters and the wait can be long. There's usually a long line to pick up packages however. I dislike their Saturday hours however and wish they were open longer. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Brides to be....be careful!!!! First off, when my bridal shower invitations were sent out from here, about 10 people did not receive them. I decide to give them a second chance (huge mistake) and have them send out my wedding invitations. Needless to say, so many people different people did not receive them. I come here pretty often since I sell things on eBay and have to ship stuff to friends and what not. The line here is always long. Which gets pretty annoying becuase I have to wait about 10-20 mins just to ship one little package. The workers here are slow and rude. There is only one person here that works fast and that is very friendly his name is "steven" I always rather go to him then anyone else just cause the other people have nasty attitudes and are rude and stuff which I do not tolerate. This post office has caused me some trouble a few times I always put tracking on my stuff there was a few times that I got charged for tracking but they didn't scan the track number ? So I've have lost money here and there just because I didn't have tracking conformation. There was this one time I used a flat rate box and it was a little bit poofy and the lady yelled at me and said i couldn't do that but the manager there was okay with it. Honestly if you have a credit card or debit card I recommend not comming here and just go pay for the shipping label online and just dump it into the large bin at the post office. Saves time & don't need to tolerate with the rudeness. P.S. Getting your passport done here sucks !!! Sometimes if you made an appointment they don't write it down. I recommend going to the court around chinatown and getting it done instead. It's way faster and the people there are way nicer. read more

I pay for a PO box here, and for the past couple months, they just stopped putting mail in it. its empty everyday for the past 2 months. only when i have a tracking number i can go up to the window and ask for my package, which the man will then bring all my mail which are bundled together. i don't know how long its been sitting there but if i didn't have a package with a tracking number, i probably wouldn't have been able to retrieve any of my mail. which is ridiculous. i pay for the PO box, i expect to actually get mail in it rather than it just sit in the back of the post office for days. if something doesn't fit in the box, they are suppose to put a pink slip of paper in it so you can go pick it up. but they stopped doing that too! totally unorganized and unprofessional. i bought the PO box because i wasn't getting mail at my home, but now i have this problem. the worst post office ive ever experienced in my life. read more

If I could i would give "0". The last few months they have changed our mail person every week. In Aug. 2017, we received a package, with broken glasses. We put in a claim, the letter said we didn't buy insurance. With priority mail it has insurance, the mail person said ok resubmit your claim. Since we don't have a regular mail person, our mail comes on Sunday, 10:00pm, or our neighbor gets it. Sometimes we get two pieces of mail and later that night we get more mail. Our neighbors haven't received mail for two three days. We can't figure it out. read more

All post offices are terrible...but this one takes the cake. There is always a line, usually filled with undesirables and the staff is either very nice or highly rude (asian woman). There is a machine that allows you to send packages yourself but if you need to see a teller, you'll have a wait and likely get an attitude. I will say that recently I noticed a new postmaster? manager? she's a black woman and I believe her first name begins with a "B" - she was extremely helpful and helped expedite the long lines today asking each person what they were there for, helping answer questions, directing people to the stamp machine - it was refreshing to have someone with a pleasant demeanor looking to help rather than turn customers away. She made a big difference in the overall atmosphere of this dreadful looking post office, hopefully she will be here permanently. read more

One of the worst post offices ever!!! If I could I would give this post office a ZERO. ALWAYS understaffed always only 2 people if not 1 person working. You will always catch a line of people while the tellers take their time and chit chat in front of everyone. Horrible I can't believe a US government owned post office would be such understaffed and inefficient! On top of that they always nasty workers And unfriendly. This post office is the worst!! I missed delivery of my package on Aug. 19, filled out the form to have them redeliver to the doctor's office next door. Nothing. Went online and did another redelivery. Nothing. Called the main USPS number and they did the redelivery. Still nothing. This is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call them, nobody answers the phone no matter what time of day it is. The package I'm waiting on contains SAT novels to help my daughter when she takes the test on Oct. 11. Sometimes when I need to come here, I would come right when they are open to avoid lines. But behold, when you think you're early, but there's freaking people even earlier than you. It's not a Black Friday sale! It's just a post office! And truthfully, the lines aren't that bad when I go there that early, but the postal workers must've not brewed their coffee right because they're working extremely slow! One time after waiting on line for 40 minutes just to mail a really large package, I decided to buy some stamps. I didn't have enough cash, so I wanted to pay by credit and how lucky was I that the window I was at doesn't accept credit because their machine was broken. So they told me to wait at the other window and dang I waited 20 minutes just to buy stamps! But of course I bought 6 packs of stamps instead, so I don't have to come back here and wait on line all over again. read more

This is my first yelp review because normally I can live with mediocre USPS service but this is ridiculous. I think the number they have listed on the USPS website is false. I need to call this office for an urgent package situation because I can't visit the office directly today. So, I've been trying to contact this post office for TWO hours and all I hear is the busy signal. Then after two hours of waiting, I contacted USPS costumer service. I had to wait on the phone for another half hour, just so that I can speak to get a costumer representative who provided me with another contact number to call. And guess what? It's another freaking "busy" line. Are you kidding me, USPS? Now, most likely I will be losing my package because I can't talk to my local office. Thanks a lot. The WORST post office! Every trip here is a constant headache - long lines, slow and rude staff, unorganized, and they never have any of the free shipping boxes available. They always lose packages without fail and sometimes mail out packages 2 weeks after they were dropped off, even though it was paid for 2 day shipping. When I call to inquire are lost packages, RUDE woman starts screaming after I calmly ask a question and put me on hold for over 20 minutes. Since then, I usually just schedule pick-ups from USPS and that is much, much more reliable. read more

Came here on a saturday morning at 9 am and there was no line and I was shocked. Went straight up to the counter to deliver my document. The guy I had there was not rude like how many have mentioned about the staff but he didn't appear to be the friendly type also. Was basically in and out of the post office with no problems. The only negative I could think of from this trip to the post office was that the counter for the different slips were messy and out of place. Had to looked around to find the certified mail slip. The window clerk at the first register on Saturday morning was completely insane. She kept yelling at me that she was the only clerk available after acknowledging her she continued to scream because i was taking photos of my packages tracking label and not putting my packages in the window right after she told me she was the only person available. All this time she had 2 other people in that line so i in no way was holding up any line. She could not even focus on the customer that was actually up at the window because she was so focused on me. I'm glad I'm Chinese, it helps a bit here. And contrary to other yelpers, the people here know English! As for post office service, they are not the worst shipping package wise, but not delivering to houses. I've seen worse, lot worse, where the teller doesn't TALK. Or they feel annoyed with your question, giving you the average-American-would-know-the-answer attitude. But no, I have ever gotten my passport here, so for that I cannot vouche for its service. This is the worst post office ever. I applied for change of address and nothing, my mails are all missing. I went to see them in the person and that lady Ema on the counter was so damn slow. She took like 25 mins to serve one customer. When someone finally got mad they called someone else to serve us. After that I had to talk to the supervisor and she said she can't fix my problem online and that i have to mail them the form. Meanwhile what about my mails? Ridiculous service!!!!!! Horrible experience. I went there on Tuesday Monday August 14, 2018. The Asian man on window 1 was extremrely rude not professional. My package was delivered there by error. First he sees me waiting ignores me. Then someone one else comes in and he proceeds to call him over. However this young Asian man was nice and said i was next . I explained to the post office worker my package was delivered there by mistake. He tells me to write my name and address. I show him on my iPhone all the numbers ex confirmation number of package. That isn't enough he said go the the machine print out a piece of paper . I do that no paper prints out. I go back to him. He says he needs the Tracking Number I have it in my Iphone . If he had told me before I could have provided that. Then tells me my package will be delivered tomorrow. I tell him I called DHL and they said not until Monday . He says don't listen to DHL . Then he says I didn't check USPS which I did the tracking # shows on Monday. He shows me the computer no where does it indicate it will be delivered the next day. I ask for his name he refuses. I ask for a print out of what it show on the computer he says he can't do that. Mind you the only reason he showed me the computer is because I told him I already checked and no where does it indicate delivery . This package is important because of its content. HORRIBLE CONDUCT VERY UNPROFESSIONAL needs to be fired. Even when you call you can't get to talk to someone . I called several times before I went there it will ring twice and then a busy signal !!!! read more

This Post Office is a constant disappointment. Nobody there wants to do the job they are highly paid for. Lazy, lazy, lazy carriers with attitude. Can't get them to come up a flight of stairs to give me my package (I am disabled). They can't even ring the doorbell. They just leave a tag that they tried to deliver. Worst Post Office Ever.... I just returned and am so furious i have to vent. I even tried calling the Complaint Hotline just to hold for 10 minutes to get someone on the phone who said "Our system is down, you can call back or go online"! So when i walked in the guy who is normally very nice was helping an old asian women unlock her cell phone. I waited as the 2nd person on line about 10 min before he disappeared into the office there were already 3 more people behind me, Only 3 windows were open even though i can see an additional 3 people walking around in the back and bs-ing. Another 5 minutes goes by and the "nice man" comes back out to start yelling at a lady that she's holding up the line. She said i just got up here.... he proceeded to belittle her in front of maybe 20 customers at this point saying she was right where he left her. At this time i just called up to a window.... but i thought this was completely unprofessional and even more so.... he was MISTAKEN! I chimed in..... "Sir, you are mistaken. 5 people came and went before this lady, its not the lines fault... maybe you should open more windows" His response to me was "Thank you for your help sir"! I said no problem but thats not right, you were gone for over 5 minutes and you come out blaming it on customers.... you think we want to stand around here waiting ?"... He had no comment until i left when his wise ass remark was sarcastically "Have a nice day sir". If i wasnt feeling under the weather i probably would have given him more than an earful! I started going here after the one in my zip code broke every human ethical idea there is, now this one is right on their tail....wheather its 3 people oe thirteen in front of you they leaving you hanging they are always yapping amongs themselves.I went there a few times with no one on line went up to a staffed window and had them tell me to go back on line until I am called with 3 other windows staffed also. I usually use the auto machine for USA mail but I sent international also so I have to go on line. I also weigh my parcels at home and on numorous occasions have been told it weighs more.....i question them and they start spewing at me so fast I can hardly understand them then they talk to each other in their own lang. so we can not understand....last week the lady got me so mad I told her I can not wait for that machine in the corner to put her out of a job, because according to the scale on that machine my package weighed a pound less but did not print international over a certain weight yet she was charging me another $10 extra ,she told me I was lying so I left and went to a PO on McDonald Ave and mailed it for the $10 less amount ....The problem is there is no one to complain to I have seen people ask for the manager and the manager always takes the staffs side even though we the people waiting on line saw everything go down they have no shame...I try to use online postage now its my new thing but then I worry if the PO staff will handle my packages after drop off the right way or not ...I guess I will find out read more
