Yes, all day every day. I was told on our last day State doesn't have an issue. I asked Dale the owner, why an older 3 could not have moved up? That wouldn't work for ratio was what I was told. They are always over ratio when school agers come in the afternoons. That same day a 2nd or 3rd grader was kicking an outside toy when she was on it. She was yelling at him to stop and he did not stop. I asked him why was he was doing it? I got shrugged shoulders. Staff did not see this because there were 3 or 4 staff members, plus the owner standing by the gate talking to one another. 2 or 3 of them with their backs to the kids. I motioned for the owner to come over. I told him what had happened his response was "we will watch".How can you watch when backs are turned and clustered together. I found out later that he was mad that I talked to the kid, someone needed too! I watched the whole thing take place that's why. Someone needs to protect the younger kids. He only once introduced himself and that was Tuesday before we left the center. He had seen me more than once and never introduced himself. But I only knew the managers name and face. The assistant manager I knew her name but I was never interacted with her. The owner did tell me that "if you're not happy to leave". That hurt his pocketbook cuz they received state money for her tuition. $400 more than they were charging me for. You need to know that 1 year olds to school agers are all together in the same play yard. Yes, because of ratio. One thing I forgot to say is my granddaughter is not potty trained. They let a 2 year old go to the bathroom by herself. I'm assuming how heavy the pull-up was when I picked her up, they only changed it when she told them she pooped. If staff had a questions about my granddaughter they would ask my 26 year old daughter who worked there. She would tell them to talk to me. I only Never did I get asked a question nor told how her day was, if she napped. You know the typical things she staff tell parents. My daughter who worked there was told her first day that the staff toilet doesn't always flush. Just leave it and try flushing later. That's disgusting in every way!!! Hmmm wonder if State knows about this issue. It's their only staff bathroom. This daycare always flys under the radar. Nobody speaking out about their faults. Not anymore! The State inspector comes almost on a weekly basis. Why, because they are on probation because of ratio not being meet. BE AWARE!!!

We live up the street so not too inconvenient but still not very professional. Daycare is nearly full with no spots for his age group. I'll check back in with the a few months maybe but I'm not impressed yet. Facility is very clean and looks like the kids spend a good amount of time outside and they all seem to get a variety of activities and have fun. I also have yet to see a teenager with a phone in their hand, which is a great sign.

I waited all day at my apartment…read more When I went to get my mail at the end of the day, here was a notice from UPS taped to my box saying that they missed me. WHAT???? The next day, I see the UPS truck parked in front of my building. I watched the driver head over to another building with white slips in his hand....no packages. I decided to talk to the driver who stared me in the eye and said that he does "exactly what I'm supposed to do". He claimed that he knocked at the doors of my two neighbors as well. I told him that I would have heard him, and why wouldn't he put the slip on their door then. BTW, we have cameras in our building, so after feeling even more frustrated with the driver, I talked to the complex owner. He basically told me the same story as I was going to tell him about the driver! So today, I went to pick up my package. The two women working appeared nice enough, but neither were wearing masks. When I asked about it, I was told that they were given the option as to whether or not to wear masks. Again, WHAT???!! With the virus rates hitting all time marks, and they are given the option?? I have a mask on, apparently more concerned about their health than they are and apparently care more about others than they do. I will be letting Target know that I don't think they would appreciate the service that they are getting from the Sioux Falls UPS. Hopefully, it is only the one driver that can look a person straight in the eye and lie (politics in his future??), but that other staff wear masks!!
