Anyway.... some times I don't get the mail when that happens but most of the time I do. Either way, I had an issue and they were able to take care of it on the third attempt. My normal delivery guy is still the best though over here on Easton Road. I wonder if there's a labelling issue on the boxes he's not aware of but it gets frustrating to be told your packages are there but then it's in someone else's box. Like, I had a $10,000 check from my 401k get put in someone else's box. Fortunately, they were nice and gave it to me.... but it's not an uncommon issue with the replacement delivery guy.

However, this is one post office that I don't mind going to. John, the counter clerk, is always courteous and friendly. On this particular trip, he also saved me a great deal of cash. I was shipping a dress to Quebec, Canada via box (the only thing I had since I usually ship flat rate) when John informed me that it would cost $32 and there would be a more cost effective way (since the item was so light). So he pulled out a manila shipping mailer and sure enough it fit! In a matter of seconds, he reduced my bill from a possibly $32 to a mere $5.60! It's no wonder that people come from other areas (mostly Norristown and KOP) for the service John provides. Top notch!

They have lost numerous things being sent to me, and when I call to inquire, they tell me that they will call me back and never do. When I go to the actual location, the person is more concerned about entertaining themselves than providing me with quality customer service. I'm currently waiting to hear if two packages that I sent about 3 weeks ago ever got to their destinations. No, I didn't insure the packages (both contained some crocheted items and one had a burned CD inside). Why would I send something if it wasn't important? Shouldn't all packages get the same respect and care? I've actually taken to having certain items sent to my parents house over 2 hours away because I know it will actually get to them. I had better mail service in West Philadelphia! From now on, I plan on sending my packages through UPS or FedEx. If I didn't send thank-you notes through snail mail, I'd be 100% done with the post office in general.

This review is for obtaining a passport for a toddler…read more You cannot walk in to submit an application for a passport without an appointment. You cannot call to make an appointment. Their online services to make an appointment do not work. Their staff told us, that their management helps customers, in person, make the appointment and then the customer must return at the later date, that the appointment is set for. Let's stop here for a second. The above is true, amazing and almost, almost comical. With all of this in mind we showed up for one of their passport fairs where you do not need an appointment. At 1030 am we showed up, waited about 20 minutes for help, even though their were multiple employees that were available. When we met with someone, we were told one of our IDs was not acceptable and we should go to PennDot. I said, "by the time we get to PennDot, on a Saturday at noon and get back to the Post Office, the Post Office would be closed." The women helping us said "No don't worry, we are here until 3 today." Alright, so I go to PennDot, wait an hour for help with the ID, get back to the Post Office at 2 and the post office is closed. I'd like to send a round of applause and a big thank you to the government, that takes my taxes, for creating a process that ruined my Saturday. The best part, passport still hasn't been submitted and Ihave no idea what I'm supposed to do or who will ever help me.

Beware some Amazon returns require you to pack them up. Unfortunately, they don't tell you that - however, that is on Amazon. However, the few times I've had to drop off packages, I've ran into issues. Once the label I printed wasn't able to be scanned and they wanted to charge me $5 to reprint a label because their scanner couldn't read it. Couldn't they just type the numbers in the system for free? I wouldn't have been as upset about the $5 if it didn't come with attitude. And this issue was pre-COVID-19, so they cannot use it as an excuse. Honestly, it is close to me so I will continue to drop things off there. However, I don't picture ever truly recommending it.

Packages sat in their back office for over 1.5 months with statuses marked "Label Created" with excuses of having to source right-sized boxes. (You are a shipping store; shouldn't you have proper shipping supplies readily available??) The manager is NEVER on site to address any issues and completely unresponsive when trying to get answers. After 5 or 6 trips back to the store, only to find my boxes still sitting in their backroom--I finally took it back and went elsewhere. This store is incredibly poorly run and unorganized. I will never return to this location.
