I walked in to the kitchen to find my mom crying this morning. We are finally in a new place and…read morejust starting to realize what we've lost. Oh, not in the fire. That only took a couple of curtains and a set of headphones that were trampled by the firefighters. No the following is a list of what was lost or broken by Service Master by Holobinko. Adjustable bed has a broken leg and the power cord and remote are missing. Clips that hold queen-size bed frame One Leg off my cutting board New computer was stored in box facedown. Now has a resolution issue and cannot be updated. Professional computer repair person says graphic card bad due to improper storage. He is also missing an HDMI cable and power cord for it. My new broom and dust pan are missing. Roku remote from the TV in my bedroom is missing. Crushed litterbox PS3 is broken The baking sheet and cookie press we inherited from my grandmother are gone. so are her trivets and potholders PS3 broken Plunger Tupperware/plastic storage All the curtains and rods from upstairs are missing. After my Mom said she wouldn't sign off that we'd received everything back she was told that not signing would have them billing her for thousands of dollars. So to try and put this experience behind us, she took the $500 they offered. The deal was she'd sign and they'd FedEx the check. We are still waiting. If they ever actually fulfill their side of this agreement, I will update. At this point it's been over a week. My advice to you is that during what will be a very stressful time, you make a point to be there when Service Master by Holobinko packs your stuff, numbering every box before they remove it. Then you'll have an idea what you are missing when without having to go through every box. And if anything you own matters to you, store it yourself. Last thing you want to do is find your mom crying in the kitchen over missing heirlooms.

After…read moreServiceMaster received the credentials that we indeed had insurance, they worked until 9:00 pm trying to dry out the mess. They came back for several days to tweak the process and monitor the drying. They are expensive - but a wonderful crew! i am totally impressed and would highly recommend them.

They're very far apart from each other and they put some kind of device on one of them and it was the wrong one because I refuse to use Amerigas so this tank is not theirs. They never asked us to enter our property and then they charge us $200 to come out and take it off! And that was after I clarified with them that they would not charge me for that and now they're giving me a fit they made the mistake but I'm paying so don't use Amerigas. No matter what I don't know anyone that's had a good experience with them.!

The problem isn't so much this branch…read more The bad: It's AmeriGas as a whole... they have overseas call centers, after Covid they have shut down all local branches and they have become inaccessible to the public. The overseas call center employees don't know their company's own policy's, are unable to help with simple requests like 'could you email me that policy'. The horrible: This company has become too corporate. They simply only care about cash, a few years ago the property we purchased came with a propane tank owned by AmeriGas. The first few times It seemed okay to buy gas from this company, not to expensive, not crazy wait times exc exc, however. Over the years their prices per gallon quickly ballooned and it became most cost effective to run our heat pump. This year we decided to get some gas and called AmeriGas, of-course you get the overseas call center who you can hardly understand, but that's a different story. I asked for the price per gallon as I always do and they wanted a whopping 4.60 per gallon ! So I called around and did some research it turns out at the fair market value of propane I was around 2.60 give or take. I was outraged that this company has been ripping us off! I called to cancel and also to ask why we are paying double and their said it was 'based on usage' I said that's the thing, we don't use much we try and be efficient with our propane, and they said 'exactly' 'the more you use the cheaper it will be' that's not lanky irrational but it should be illegal. Nobody else in the propane industry does that, you pay fair market value, that's it. Just because your company is suffering financially they make you pay for their poor financial decisions... I asked to cancel after that and they threatened their fees which are how they keep you in 299.99 to pick up their old tank we have been paying rent to have which by the way they are supposed to service and they haven't serviced in 6 years, plus another 149.99 for 'processing fee' basically a bogus fee they implement to try and keep people in. Just insane... I'm not sure how this company isn't shut down yet... their business practices are abusive. I canceled anyway. Good bye

After almost a month without a refund, they became impossible to contact. We finally filed a suit against them, which scared them enough to return the money. Judging by other reviews, this is not the first time they have done this to someone.

I had mentioned many times to optimize…read morethe boxes weight close to 50 lb to help me account for the shipping labels (that were bought as per weight) but boxes even as light as 10 lb were packed and these variations costed me a lot of money for something that I could pay much lesser. 3. It is common sense to pack food and home supplies separately to avoid any spillage but after receiving the box, I understood that the packers lacked it. Needless to say a lot of my food bought from my own country had to be thrown in the garbage. 4. Due to improper packing, my boxes were held by the USPS and repacked by them which caused some items to go missing from their center. 5. I had clearly mentioned that everything either goes in boxes or suitcases. It can be verified that a lot of my clothes were just moved into a "black cloth bag". On calling to rectify this mistake I was addressed with an arrogant tone without an apology, although it was rectified that night as per their convenience. 6. I wonder how this one happened - My daughter's boots come in two different boxes which again were delivered to me on two different days. 7. I guess this is the last one yet most important, my glassware reached me all in small pieces since they packed GLASSWARE in PAPER!!!! $125 is not a small amount for packing materials. One star for being timely (despite getting out of my apartment twice to deal with 'other work'). NEVER EVER EVER HIRE THEM!
