I have been going to US Nails for decades. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on June 24th at the beautiful renovations. I told my usual nail tech that I wanted a regular pedicure with a patriotic design in my big toe. She told me I could no longer get a design on my big toe as I usually do with a regular nail polish pedicure. I had to purchase a more expensive type of pedicure in order to get a design on my toe. I was extremely disappointed. I'm contemplating not going there anymore. Change is not always a good thing! read more

Complete waste of time, lady who was doing my nails was rough, cut me and painted right over the blood. My nails are crooked and bumpy, the only thing i asked for was dip. Tips of my nails are significantly thicker than the bottom/cuticle part of my nails. I believe her name is was jan or something equivalent to that. Left with shitty nails and sore fingers, also my natural nails are trashed. read more

Went here with my nieces and sister to get mani/pedi's. We were ALL disappointed by our experience. The people weren't very friendly, it's EXTREMELY over priced for a cheap service that doesn't last. My nail chipped off a big chunk less than three hours after the appointment. On of my niece's big toes chipped too ripping her flower design off less than two hours after the pedicure. Both girls asked to not go back there again and they are 8 and 10. We all felt like the environment and people weren't professional and seemed burdened by our presence. Also, my tech couldn't even paint my nails with out it being streaky, patchy and look like crap. I wonder if these people are even certified. Worst 31$ I ever spent. Wish I could get my money back. It's nice spot and welcoming staff however every time I come to give them another try my nails end up looking way to thick and bumpy. I really wish they could do better. Worst experience!! Didn't paint my toes the correct color, didn't paint my nails how I asked either. I paid $120 for them to ruin my nails basically and then when I went back to get them fixed they refused to fix it and was ok with how they looked. The woman smeared my thumb nail and instead of fixing it she smeared the other thumb to match. Didn't do the design i asked for and continued to charge me extra. Never going back again! Not to mention she had her head phones in talking on the phone the entire time!! If I could give it zero stars I would. Terrible service read more

Pedicure was great and the whole process didn't take too long, but my acrylics were not great quality. One of them broke in 3 days and they all started lifting within a week. I ended up having to get them redone by day 10. Very disappointed. read more

This is the BEST nail salon in all of Winchester! I have been going here for about 7 years now. They are busy because they are not only wonderful and offer fantastic services, but are the nicest nail techs I have ever met. They accept walk ins, and if they don't have time right away to get you in they ALWAYS do their best and give you a better time to come back. This is because they take their time with every customer they see!! Their prices are very reasonable as well considering the great service you receive. They go above and beyond. Worst manicure and pedicure of my life! All they did for my pedicure was trim, file, and paint my nails. My feet were soaked in water but idk why because they weren't treated at all. I had to scrub my feet with a pumice stone in the shower that night. No dead skin was taken off. Cuticles we're not trimmed. Basically my feet were not touched AT ALL besides putting polish on my toenails. You could see the rough spots on my feet after my pedicure. Unfortunately I trusted them and didn't pay attention until I left the place. My nails weren't even trimmed into a nice shape. They just looked sloppy. Also, my pedicurist was late and rushed through my service. When it came time for my manicure (which was done second....first time that's ever happened. Usually the finger nails are done first to allow them to dry while the toes are being done.) I was escorted to a chair at a manicure station close to the back of the shop. My sister's manicure began but I just sat there....for 20 minutes. Finally I asked what was going on and they acted surprised that I had a manicure appointment. The person doing my sister's nails flagged down some random girl who worked there and she did my nails. Again, my service was rushed through and the results were absolute crap. My nails were not evenly shaped and the lengths didn't match. I was so pissed about everything and I didn't trust them to fix it because I felt that of they were capable then they would've done it right the first time. This was my last nail appointment before I gave birth to my son and I wanted my nails to look nice so that I didn't have to worry about them looking like shit during my first few weeks postpartum. So much for that! I'd never been there before and I'll never go back again. People say this place is great but I think they just have extremely low standards. Maybe I'm just used to much more thorough manicurists who care about doing a great job. I had to pay $60 for this terrible experience....which is a bargain when it comes to manicure and pedicure prices, but you most definitely get what you pay for! Cheap for cheap. The do quite a bit of business and I can only base this off my experience. I just move to the area. My technician was on the phone through my pedicure and gel tips. I asked for gel nails and for acrylic with gel polish. She repeatedly got too close to my skin while I'm the cuticle area. And the. The price was that of a what I requested / gel nails not gel polish. Would I recommend, no but clearly they have other with better experiences since they were packed. read more

Despite the nice facility and great location, the workers in this salon do not treat their customers with respect. I had an appointment for six friends and family and we were rushed through our pedicures and manicupres and it showed on the quality of our nails. The gentlemen (to put it politely) actually told me to hurry up when choosing my color because they were busy. I left with bare nails because he did such a poor job on them and I had him remove the color. I was still asked to pay for the "service". Definitely stay away from this one. This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. I spent $50 for a deluxe pedicure. They massaged my legs with the exfoliation cream. May as well just scoured my legs with sand paper. After getting my toes polished I still had polish on my skin. My 7 year old nephew could've done a better job. Will NEVER go there again. Complete waste of money. read more

I took my sister here to get a gel full set with gel polish for her wedding. The staff was rushed and unfocused. I received a middle level spa pedicure which was rushed and mediocre. My issue is that my sisters nails looked horrible. Several nails are crooked and lift upward they're thick and misshapen not to mention the polish was put on haphazardly with no attention to detail. The staff acted as though they had something better to be doing. They even made my mother pick a different color for her toe nails because I picked the same one, which I know is about trying to be efficient with time, but we wanted the same one for a reason. Think twice before going here. We went to Natural Nail and Spa to have my sisters nails reshaped and they turned out amazing. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. This place has gone down hill in the last couple months it's sad. They will never get mine or my families business again. My mom got her nails done there 4 times and her last two times they've had someone new do them and they've lasted not even a week and it was a completely different process, aside from that they looked terrible. I stopped going because my last couple times my fingers hurt and my nails looked like my dog painted them for me. Upon trying to resolve the issue with management he made excuses and told her maybe she should get something else rather than trying to resolve the issue, stay far away. I have been going here for about 3 years now. I've tried other places but always felt US did the best job, had the best selection of gel colors, and had the best service. But, as of recently this all has changed. I'm not sure what specifically has changed behind the scenes, but the service has been awful the last handful of times I have gone. The first time I was frustrated was when I had an appointment for a pedicure one Saturday morning at 10 am, and still at 11:15 I was not sat. When I got up to leave they magically had a chair ready for me. I left regardless, but still gave them another chance. A few weeks later I went to get my normal gel manicure. She rushed through and I was done within 20 minutes, start to finish. Within 3 days, three fingers were completely peeled off - on a manicure that SHOULD last nearly 3 weeks. I went back and explained I love the salon and this doesn't typically happen, so the same woman did my nails. However, she didn't take the polish off or attempt to fix anything. She simply painted OVER the ones that were messed up. Yes, it was free of charge, but I left a tip for her taking the time to help me. (Which I shouldn't have done) 3 days later, my gel manicure is completely peeled off (not even two weeks from the ORIGINAL manicure) and my regular nails are painful and ruined from having layers and layers of gel polish on them. I'm not one to normally leave posts or negative reviews just to complain, but after a few horrible experiences I can guarantee I will never go back. There are tons of other salons in the area. Even if they are mediocre at best, I would rather spend my time and money there than at this salon. read more

We had an appointment booked weeks in advance for a wedding party. There were 6 of us. It was on a Friday morning. We all had pedicures and manicures. Some of the ladies were satisfied, thank goodness one of them was the bride. I was not. I have good natural nails, but that week, 2 of them decided to break and peel so I went in knowing I would need tips on those. First the pedicure: she tried to shave my calluses. That is a huge mistake in my book. Calluses are there for a reason and should not be removed. Then, she asked me to dip my feet into the vat of wax that everyone else dips their feet in instead of scooping out the wax to put in the bag for each individual client, this is very unsanitary! I did not see them open a new set of tools for each client, another unsanitary practice that could spread disease. It is now 2 days later and my polish on my toes is already beginning to chip. Now, on to the manicure. I discussed getting tips put on my 2 broken nails, and my manicurist initially agreed. The shop was very busy that morning, but I thought nothing of it because our appointments were booked weeks in advance. When we got to doing my nails, she began like she was going to put tips on, but then began telling me that they were very busy and that she could just make all of my nails even. I told her again that I wanted tips put on the broken ones, but it was in vain. I accept that there is a bit of a language barrier, but I definitely feel like she swindled me because I was under the impression that she was going to put tips on right up to the point when she clipped off the first of my longer nails. I will take the blame for not paying enough attention and making absolutely sure we were understanding each other, but she began saying "we're just so busy this morning" as she clipped off my nails. SHE made the decision to just cut all my nails to make them even, not me. I really feel like she did this so she could see more clients just to make more money. I realize I should have stopped her, but the bride was stressed for time and I didn't want to cause a fuss, it was her wedding preparations, not mine, and she chose the place so I didn't want to cause trouble because she is one of my best friends. I was charged $73 for a manicure with gel polish and a regular pedicure- outrageous prices for a shoddy job. I will never be going back to US Nails because they have manicurists that don't listen to their clients and seem to only care about the money, are overpriced, and have extremely unsanitary practices. read more

Worst acrylic fill I have ever had in my life. First she didn't file down the original acrylic enough and put new acrylic over top so you can see the lines from the last fill. I asked her to cover the acrylic with gel so they would be shiny, well for some reason that was really splotchy and only on part of the nail. I have had this done many times before without problem, but when they did it, it was almost like an oil on water effect. Now, 2 weeks later they are all cracking, breaking and lifting. Got a full set of P&W they were thick & the white tips don't follow the natural curve of my nails (or any curve for that matter)! $60 then they won't let you put a tip on the credit card and ASKED for her tip in cash or check made out to her! When I realized how bad they look in the daylight & called to complain I was told "just come back and we will fix them" - like I have another hour and a half! I loved my pedicure. I came over on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't so busy so no one was rushing. They had a good color variety. The lady who did my pedicure was very gentle and sweet. I've been here before to get a full set and it hasn't been the best nail job but it was still pretty decent. It depends on who works on your nails. However, their prices can be a little high but it's only like 5-10 dollars over an average price. Overall, I recommend this place. read more
