I don't get my nails done very often but when I do, I typically go to V Nails. I decided to try this location instead and was very pleased with everything. When entering, I immediately noticed a lovely smell and the beautiful atmosphere. I was greeted by some lovely women and immediately was able to sit down. I appreciated the comfy chairs. I had an appointment for an acrylic nail removal and a regular polish manicure. Lynn did my nails and I could instantly tell she had years of experience. She was very gentle when removing the acriylics and was very precise when painting and shaping my nails. She was also incredibly kind and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be returning to this nail salon over any others in the area. I loved Lynn but all the women seemed very capable and caring. read more

The only thing good about this place is they have availability on the spot and I can see why. I was in a time crunch, my usual tech did not have availability, so I stopped into Nailtiques as they do good pedicures. Been quite a few times. Can't say the same for nails. I needed a dip fill. My tech barely soaked my nails and began trying to pry them off . Not comfortable to say the least. She broke most of my grown nails off. At this point I was no longer getting my nails done here. Asked for a manicure and just a natural gel coat and Id be on my way. She picked at my skin so much and filed the sides of the nails so much to where multiple fingers were bleeding . I was charged $45 for this service !!!!!!! I will never be going back here . My finger tips are so sore ! read more

Tom did an excellent job on the yellow ombre and flower. I really love how it turned out. Been coming here for about 3 years i think and i am never disappointed. If you're looking for a nail salon this is it and if you're wondering what precautions are taking place then let me tell you it is very high. Before they start servicing you, you have to wash your hands, they santize everything, and you must come in with a mask and it must be worn at all times. I'm not usually one to complain however I am so ashamed to even let anyone see my nails. I have been going here for over a yr, always get talked about bc I prefer my nails long to today sitting there watching what I didn't want done then passed off to another tech bc another appointment came in. When I say my nails are absolutely terrible I mean they are terrible. They are supposed to be flat and square, they are now lumpy, not the same length and coffin and so wide they look like claws on top of the horrendous paint job and the underneath is beyond embarrassing!! I'm so disappointed with the quality of work and don't understand how you can let someone walk out representing your company with these travesties!! read more

So I have to say I was a bit apprehensive to return after my pedicure failure, but was on a time crunch and desperately needed my nails done. Got an acrylic full set. They were lopsided, lumpy, and very very thick. My pedicure left me with lopsided toenails. I was given gel polish without being asked if that was what I wanted for my pedicure. After $130 (before tip) I am embarrassed for people to see my nails. Very expensive mistake. read more

They really do suck. 4 days into my dip manicure the dip actually started chipping!!! That never happens, it's also cracked. The experience was also rude. I have really long natural nails and unfortunately before I had gone in 2 had broken from my previous manicure, the young guy with the really cool tats on his arms was so annoyed with me and even got loud with me because I wanted my natural nails cut off.. yes really. In fact he got so loud with me that whom ever is I charge came over to then tell me not to cut my nails and to just put tips on the other. You guys, fake nails are nasty, trashy and dirty and I don't want them, I wanted a normal length natural nail and they literally got mouthy and loud with me over it. Since I wrote this review less than 24 hours ago, I have had 2 more nails completely break.... this wouldn't have happened had he cut off my regular nails as requested instead of throwing a fit. To top it off there are one 3 coats of dip on my nails, I usually have 6 or so. The guy literally had a fit because I wanted my nails cut, I can't even grasp how effed up that is. And this is for the salon: what kind of business takes a card and doesn't allow for a tip on it? As a business it is your duty to ensure the patrons can tip the same way they pay, get it together. read more

Do NOT come here for any sort of acrylics or fill! I got the absolute WORST full set / french paint ever. Super rushed and sloppy. The acrylic is super thick and uneven. Left the salon with white paint all over my fingers. Will NOT be coming here again- go to Amazing Nails at Creekside! read more

I really don't do reviews because people have off days but when I leave somewhere crying because my fingers were glued together my acrylic is so thick that it's hurting my nails because of the heaviness and the overall nail wasn't what I asked for oh and let's not forget the sharp point edges on them .... They have a very large selection of very unique colors and gel colors, keeps changing colors, glow-in-the-dark, and of course sparkles!!! I won't go any other place! This is the best salon in Winchester. I've been coming here twice (or more) a month for 2+ years and have yet to be disappointed. I see Cyndie regularly, who has serious talent in every area of the salon (nails, brows, eyelashes, etc.) Being here so often, I've also seen the other techs do beautiful work, so you can't go wrong with who you see. This salon is constantly evolving and adding new styles and techniques so you can find something you love. Just today, Cyndie showed me a new unicorn powder that made my nails iridescent and gorgeous (wish you could see how pretty it looks when I move them in the light, but phone cameras suck). I put it on top of white, but it can go over any gel color for only $15 extra, which is def worth it in my opinion. The best part was that Cyndie has paid so much attention to me over the time I've spent at the salon, she knew that I'd love this powder and showed me as soon as I sat in her chair. Basically my point is if you're looking for a salon to come to over and over again, this is it. And definitely try this new powder! read more

This review is for my eyebrow wax only, they do a great job with nails and pedicures. I can't believe how awful my eyebrow waxing was, she somehow manage to wax off almost all of my actual eyebrow and leave the hairs that needed to come off. This place is a hard pass. I've been twice thinking the first time was a fluke, but nope. This is not a good nail salon. They do a crummy job and it's not clean. In addition I waited 25 mins for a manicure even though I had an appt. When they finally sat me down it was at a station that had nail shavings/clippings all over. In town for my daughter's wedding and I had to have one nail fixed quickly! Had a hard time finding a salon open on Sunday. Rushed over and Nancy helped me. She was thoughtful gracious and fast! The charge was nominal. I certainly could have been charged more but they clearly are honest and hard working. When I left they were packed with customers we hope to return to this fun town.
