Very impressed with the management, specifically Aaron here as we had a rough first go and he made it all better. It's Christmas so everyone is getting manicure pedicures and we came in last night and the place was jumping. They said there were 2 others ahead of us but that we would be up next and they got us seated in the massage chairs and soaking feet. About 35 minutes later we asked for a time update as we needed to get our kids and they told us probably another 20 min and another hour until we were out. We needed to get our kids and didn't have time set aside for 2 hours, and admittedly we didn't have an appointment so some of that is totally on us. They had no appointments for the next few days so it was pretty awkward as we put our wet shoes back on, Aaron jumped in and helped smooth it out and made an appointment for us for today. Needless to say the place was great, my nails feel super clean and my wife's look awesome!!! I watched Aaron work the room to make sure every guest felt extra special. In my 26 years of life, I have only left one bad review because I never go out of my way to make others feel the way they made feel, but after last night something needs to be said. I got my nails done this past Sunday and asked for French tips. I had nothing on my nails at the time, I wanted tips and didn't want the length long due to work. That conversation with Kim were the only words said the entire time I sat in her window until it was time for her to ask if I liked them. During the process I decided to TRUST the process because I have gotten my nails done so often that sometimes even when I don't like them during, I like the result. I paid $75 for the worst set of French tips I have ever had and still tipped her $15. It was close to closing time and I feel for people in the customer service industry after a long week, so I tried to get used to them through the next day but still did not appreciate how they looked. Called the nail salon, spoke with Aaron himself, he said many kind things including he would take care of them by redoing the nails, just give him a time when I can come in. I ended up coming in at 6:30pm the following Tuesday and when I arrived, I was immediately given the cold shoulder. Aaron sat me down with Henry who tried to essentially tell me it was because of how long my nails were that is why they looked that way and said he could file them down to make them look better. I did not want to keep these nails because I didn't like them and since they weren't being redone, I politely asked for them to be taken off. Henry no longer spoke to me, shook his head during the entire appointment, told me to go wash my hands after I sat in the chair and cried of embarrassment because of how they made me feel in person when Aaron was completely different over the phone, but also who wants to go back into the nail salon after not liking their nails in the first place? I felt terrible for just having to go in there because I didn't want Kim, the woman who did my nails, to feel bad. After I washed my hands and walked back to the station I was sitting at, Henry was gone, and the station was shut off appearing that I was done. Kim had been there to simply see that I came back in and didn't like my nails because she too was gone, the only person left aware of the situation was Aaron who still had said nothing more to me. No apology or any indication of kindness and or professionalism. I stood at the counter because I intended on tipping Henry for his efforts as well and Aaron paid no attention to my existence, so I just left. I have been getting my nails done on the Westside for years and years, I have always been a good tipper, I have always been kind to anyone who works in the customer service industry because so do I. I knew someone who used to work at that nail salon for a long time, and the expectation Aaron set for his business and himself over the phone went above and beyond anything I expected, just to be treated so poorly when going back in. After waiting about 30 minutes in the parking lot, I decided to go back in and let Aaron know I didn't understand why he acted one way over the phone but completely different when coming back in. When I entered back into the salon, crying and apologetic for the fact that I even had to come here today in the first place, he immediately became defensive and argumentative telling me there was nothing wrong with my nails to begin with and essentially shooed me out the door with his words telling me goodbye without listening to a word I said. My mom also later called that night, he did not answer, but called back before close, and did not allow her to speak about the situation either. Told her to shut up and again acted completely unprofessional. I would not ever recommend going to this salon. When they do a good job, they are quick to own it as they should, but when someone does not like the service they provide, all character and professionalism goes out the window like it never mattered you were a customer there to begin with. read more

I have given this place way too many tries to get it right. Made an appointment to get a Mani/Pedi came in 15 minutes early so I could pick a color and not be rushed. Still was rushed as soon as I came in. They overbook and have way too many customers and not enough help. So of course the quality of work is horrible. They couldn't find a color to match my pedi because it was in shellac. I myself am colorblind and can't pick the colors to match so I asked for their help. They took over an hour on my feet and rushed my mani. Needless to say I had to come back in three days for a touchup and then within another few days all my nails were peeling. I called and asked to speak to someone to get it fixed and spoke with Aaron. Found out he was the one that was rude to me when I came in to get a touchup. I left a message with the receptionist because they were overbooked and dizzy and he called me back and said he didn't appreciate me telling his receptionist that I called him rude which he was and then continue to scream at me on the phone. I asked for a refund he said they would fix my nails and only the parts that were damaged not completely fixed so I said I want a full refund. He said he would But I would be banned from US nails. I agreed and came in only to have more attitude and him say as I walked out I am as a US nails around here and you're banned from all of them. After being your client for over 2 years, I was rescheduled the last 4 appointments to accommodate your needs. When I have a scheduling request, you fail to listen, and when I verbalize disappointment with your response, you call and cancel my next appointment stating you're "cutting back on clients". At 70 years old, I have never been kicked out of ANYWHERE! Such an immature response from a business owner! I understand that clients appreciate your good work, but lately you've presented yourself as greedy and arrogant when you and your team call clients "Dear." This is extremely disrespectful when you clearly know the person's name. I did receive a lovely mani/pedi today in an extremely relaxing atmosphere. Didn't feel a bit rushed as the nail tech's attention and time was devoted to me.... Something I've missed with your "quick in, quick out" , hurry up and select a color service. Went with a bridal party and was told we would all be sitting together and taken back at 1:30, but half our party had to wait much longer than anticipated -- one person in our party decided not to get her fingers done because we ran out of time. The prices were inconsistent and I've never been to a salon that charges tax on top of the "listed" price -- I use quotes because there are no prices anywhere to compare the charges. In addition, the tools used for my pedicure were clearly reused without being cleaned/disinfected. So i've come into this salon plenty of times but i've had appointments with leo/henry and had great experiences. love them so much. i needed my nails done before a vaca on wednesday & today was the only day i could go so i just went with whoever. i think my tech was bill? we really struggled to communicate & i wanted the aries symbol on my thumb & a heart and "c" on my middle finger. the rest of my nails french tips. on the french tip nails you can see where my fill in is. also he didn't put the C on it. ive included pictures but i asked both my tech and the person who cashed me out to either fix it or give me a discount and they just kinda blew me off. not sure what to do now because i dont have time to get them fixed. also my entire appointment he kept asking me to give him a review. like probably 10+ times. im not normally one to complain but i'm extremely disappointed. will definitely be going to rapid run if leo or henry isn't available from now on read more

The lack of respect from a loyal customer from the owner is very sad. It's very disappointing considering I have sat and listened to his disapproval of employees and previous clients and supported the business, when there have been previous errors. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. I'm a mom of 4 small children and it is a challenge to get time to myself. I was immediately addressed and put into a pedicure chair. The woman helping me was just rude and short with me. It was never communicated that the person who'd be doing my nails was busy. I was told to sit in a chair and left. The water was cold and I was clearly being ignored. When I caught the woman who helped me to tell her the water was cold she continued to talk to the man a few chairs away then reluctantly came to turn the water on. I started to get up and just decided to leave. Scheduling a mani/pedi is time consuming and a luxury for me with 4 small children. I started to cry because I was disappointed at how I was being treated. It was 15 minutes past my appointment. The owner did stand up and tell me that the girl doing my nails was just not done yet. At this point it was 20 minutes past my appointment and I felt ignored and upset. I explained I had 4 small children and am a nursing mom and it's hard to get these appointments. He simply nodded and let me cry and leave. Honestly, I would not recommend this place unless you specifically request one of the kinder mail technicians. There are many nice employees, but not all. So got sns set here a week ago. Thumb nail popped off pretty quickly - ok nbd it happens. I called them back about fixing it and the manager was ... somewhat helpful? But clearly displeased. Nails are fixed though. Fast forward to the NEXT DAY and my index nails pop off. I paid 80$ for this. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The place is nicely decorated, everything looks pretty new. I love that they use covers in their pedicure bowls to make the experience more sanitary. I only got a pedicure. Since I'm new to the area I've been trying to find a regular nail place, so I don't know who the best technicians are. Everyone is friendly when I walk in and that's important to me. I have been going here for 2 years and always see someone different- I always like my nails. No one has ever done a bad job.
