I loved it, my child was bullied at school, she was so shy when she first started attending the program, I did see a big change in her after a couple months she became more outgoing. I sent my 4 year old son to this establishment for Summer Camp starting in June 2019. He was born in January 2015, so he will not be 5 until next year. Before registering I had a phone conversation with one of the staff members. I specifically asked if they were sure that they accept preschool age children for camp. He reassured me that they have in the past. I explained that my son was in preschool at a center but would start pre-k at a private school in the Fall and was told that was fine. I visited the place twice without my son to obtain paperwork and to drop off the paperwork and immunization records and still was told that all was well. His age and school information was included in writing as requested on their forms. Fast forward to my son starting camp. The first week was fine and he seemed happy. I did not receive any complaints from the staff or my son. A couple of weeks later, my husband picked my son up and the female staff person asked about my son's academic abilities. She seemed surprised that a 4 year old child could not write numbers independently. That was strange to me as I assumed that staff working with children would receive some sort of training on developmentally appropriate activities. I chose not to make too much of the issue. The next week I received complaints about the need to redirect my son from approaching the deep end at the pool during a field trip and again about them taking his play time away because he was not writing his numbers. Any parent or individual properly trained to work with children would know that four year old children often require redirection. They also should be able to recognize numbers and letters but might not be writing independently yet. My son can write letters of the alphabet, his name, count to 100 and more but that was not enough for them. I was appalled at the fact that his play time was used as punishment since play is the most important form of learning for a child at that age. The straw that broke the camel's back was that a staff person called my son "stubborn". My family is not perfect but we definitely are not tolerant of name calling. We do not call our child names and would never allow anyone else to do so. US Martial Arts is not a bad place for elementary age kids but parents of preschoolers beware. I would NOT recommend sending your child under six years old to summer camp at this establishment. Expectations are unrealistic and trust me when I say you will notice a difference in your child. My happy go-lucky boy who has always been rated as above average and is very well liked by teachers was in tears when I reminded him on Sunday that he would go to camp on Monday. Needless to say, I pulled him out and made other arrangements for him to be in a loving environment with folks who understand how to work with children his age. I would have appreciated a denial when I inquired about signing him up for camp if they are inexperienced with his age group. I would have also appreciated feedback daily about his play time being revoked instead of finding out the way I did. When I called to inform them that he would not return, no questions were asked. That is less than ideal customer service since I have already spent almost $1,000 with them. All is well as the happiness of my child is all that matters. read more

This place is such a gem. The staff is great with the kids and my child absolutely LOVES it. The instructor is very relatable and knows his stuff. He takes his time and is extremely patient with each child providing them with individual care regardless of how long it takes. At the end of each session he makes sure to uplift the students and let them know they need to work on the individual things he has mentioned in order for them to perform and more forward individually. Ms. Adrienne is amazing with the before and after care students and even during the summer with summer camp. She keeps the kids engaged with brain games and various other activities so they do no slide backward during the summer and continue to progress forward. This is a great school for all ages young and old. The instructors are very professional and supportive. The summer camps are awesome and keep the kids active and engaged with numerous activities. The addition of the competition team for youth to compete is a great mechanism to keep them involved and instill pride and facilitate team work. back in March of 2010 My doctor told me to get more fit to help keep me from getting diabetes and to get less then 202 lbs. so i walk 6 miles ever other day and widow shop at malls for a few hours each Saturday then when Nov. came around my doctor says u need to do more of a work out so while i was walking home from his office i stop in front of grand Master Bai's place and watch him work out with his sword i stand out side his place for about 20 mins till he seen me and came out side and ask me if i like to seat down out the cold in his place i said ok and ask if he was ok with me watching him he smile said sit sit it ok. i watch him for about 30 mins more till the guy that ran the after school program came in and greets me and we talk about if i like to join up fora class i told him i was just a passer bye that got drag in bye Grand master Bai's moves with the sword and we talk for about 20 mins and i sign up with a goal to get my body fit again like i was when i was 19. i Started Hap Ki Do , do to how i use fight in school and use others movements to keep my self from getting beat up. later in 2011 i started Tae Kwon Do. some time in 2014 i think about doing Kum Do maybe. well after about 5 months i got my self down to 168 lbs and was feel alot better and was alot more energy in me and i was eating more lol. The after school kids when i started Tae Kwon Do keep telling me i should be a 2nd or 3rd dan as much as i came in lol. and they are my biggest supporters as well to pass each my belt tests young kids today can be mean but all these kids have been cheering me on even when i pass over toughs who been going to school for 5 years or more in belt level. Grand Master Bai does not move one up in belts for money like some out there there are a few that sit at white for 3 years before getting his yellow and 3 Hap Ki Do 1st dans been 1st dans for over 5 years still come in . when he give one a test Grand Master Bai thinks u can pass it and does not give test to those he thinks can not pass a belt test and the test must also think they are ready to test as well. as of now i am a Red Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a High Blue Belt in Hap Ki Do mostly they will take Kids no younger then 5 unless the kid seem more mature then the normal 4 year old most Classes start at 6pm Mon-Fri. Wed. has a 11am mix art Class Tae Kown Do/Hap Ki Do Most Sat. that do not have test have a 9am Kum Do and 10 am Tae Kwon Do Hap Ki Do classes are 815pm Mon ,11am wed and 730pm Fri Kum Do classes are 730pm wed and 9am Sat Tae Kwon Do are 6pm ,645pm 730pm mon 6pm and 645pm tues.-Fri 10am Sat. read more

Please be careful when enrolling your child into this establishment. Their business and contractual practices make this a money trap for parents. While their contract is very generic they are all about taking your money and refuse to withdraw you from the contract because they are all about money. The contract which should have a withdrawal clause forces (and it doesn't) you to pay for services they don't provide when you withdraw. They will also begin legal threats and harassing emails.Pathetic follow school schedule which doesn't lend itself to support working families specially during inclement weather. So if the school is off due to weather you need to take time off because they're not open also and you still have to pay them. As a cautionary advice: Do not enroll your child into this establishment. This is a money trap and there are far better facilities, less expensive,with more qualified people to either take care of your child before and/or after school and/or teach them martial arts. read more
