Wow! This place is great, probably the biggest gun shop in the Springfield Branson area and certainly has the largest selection that I've seen in this area in quite some time. It's like walking into a gun show! Stop in and check it out, but be prepared to hang out for a bit as there is so much to see. read more

Is there a nice gun range in the Branson area? I only know of one indoor range about 25 miles north, share your thoughts. The nearest really nice outdoor range I'm aware of is north of Springfield, a little over an hour away.

If you have "legal problems" that will not be the case. They have a huge selection of used Shotguns and rifles, not sure if there were any new ones. Also a surprising variety of used handguns too - antique and weird looking models in the mix, and he buys some wholesale and sells them retail. I got a second hand .38 special for a VERY reasonable price and Dad got a brand new .380. They sell those little 'North American Arms' brand hand guns, and they are great: really tiny guns that fit easily into your jeans pocket, cigarette case, or whatever. The store itself is a little dirty, smoky and cluttered - it's kind of fun to poke around in though. There are a lot of used tools and construction equipment and tons of DVD's. It is not the sort of place your average female hangs out in (unless she's into remodeling & shooting, like me : ) The owner is a kind and honest person, we really like him. Been trading with the family for nearly 40 years.

The store very clean, well organized, and well lit. I can tell they put a lot of care into the store and their displays. the parking lot is very easy to get in and out of depending which way you are traveling - I would just say be cautious turning left out of the lot during peak times, as it's on a busy Street. There are several Boutique time items in the shop that are new with tags. they aren't brands that you would necessarily be familiar with oh, but it's nice to be able to buy items that have never been worn. My husband and I donated furniture here, and someone pick it up for us, which was a tremendous help. We just had to call and schedule a time. My big critique is the pricing. First of all, I didn't see any notice of tag sales, which I believe is a staple of thrift stores. Second of all, the pricing seem to be more than what I would see at comparable thrift stores, even Goodwill, which tends to be priced high. The pricing seems to be somewhere in between thrift and consignment prices. I did find a couple of pieces last time I was here and bought them, but I paid probably 30% more than what I would have paid elsewhere. This is the place to go for guns, ammo and accessories. Friendly staff, well displayed new and used guns and good atmosphere for shooters. New people to the sport, your wife and family will feel comfortable here. I hate arrogant gun dealers and you won't find one here. A new indoor range is in the planning. I have purchase 4-5 firearms at this store over the past 6 months. If they have it, you'll get the best price, If they don't have it, they'll gladly get it for you. The owner and wife are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. You can get conceal carry classes and advanced classes here. They have it all. I can highly recommend this facility.
