Best indoor range in NWA. The environment is always extremely clean and well maintained, lanes have digitally managed target movement to get specific distances for either pistol or rifle lane use. Great selection of firearms, ammo, attachments, hunting items, and apparel and a lot of other things as you could imagine. The axe throwing sound fun an is very popular, and they've a golf simulator and other cool options here :) Great spot! read more

The accuracy class that Jamie taught on Tuesday night was outstanding. Learned so much about shooting and most of all how I was shooting. She is a great teacher. Very patient and kind. read more

Great gun store, nice shooting range. My only frustration is the cost of the range. At Sturm's in Springdale (out of business), I used to pay less than $11 for a bay and target for an hour of shooting. My last visit to Ozark I spent over $25 for a bay and target. Factor the cost of ammo and a visit to Ozark for an hour is a $50 expense. Too expensive. read more

The store is always well stocked with a good selection of products. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. What more could you ask for? read more

Excellent selection of top tier firearms. Premier shooting ranges. Axe throwing. Golf simulator. Indoor/outdoor archery. And the absolute most pleasant, helpful employees one could ask for. Ozark Sportsman is a place you just want to go hang out in. read more

I didn't buy anything here but stopped in to checkout the selection of hunting & shooting gear. I didn't need anything quickly but looked for some hard to find items. They had a nice selection of pistols & shotguns, bows, Eberlestock packs too. Only negative was the small reloading selection but the staff was both helpful & very knowledgeable. I love having real experts with practical experience to answer questions and that's who was working there when I stopped in. read more

Love this place! I did the gun speed dating class and I was so nervous but it was super fun and educational. All the women were nice and friendly and I was never made to feel dumb for asking questions or not knowing how to do something. It's super great that they are sensitive to the unique needs of a woman when buying a gun. Every time I have been in the whole staff is kind, helpful, and honest!! Highly recommend! read more

I ordered a Large American Security Safe from SAFE VAULT PRO's Online Store a Subsidiary of OZARK Sportsman last week. They where very professional. I had many questions as I couldn't find any reviews on them. I put them through the ringer with questions and their legitimacy. They are for real and I verified it with Ozark Sportsman. My CUDDOS to the online support as they are very professional and where patient with all of my question and concerns. They actually shipped the large safe out the same day I ordered it and I received it today. Many thanks to SAFE VAULT PRO's. I highly recommend them. read more

Firstly, read all reviews. Every negative one is prior to some new ownership. Secondly, this place is awesome!!! Been to many ranges, visited here for about a hour and a half before they closed & I will return! Great prices, membership is worth it and pays for itself if you plan to purchase anything. Rentals are very fairly priced, lanes are nice and well kept, and the staff is phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable, won't make you feel like an idiot for not knowing everything either. Selection of firearms & accessories is definitely one of the largest I've seen, couldn't recommend this place enough. Coming from someone who's visited +15 ranges and has a membership at 2, I can tell you without a doubt these guys take pride in their work, customer service, selection, & overall store. read more

The staff was polite and very helpful. The vast array of rental options added to the enjoyment of our experience.

Very safe and professional shooting experience. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. On a busy Saturday morning, I only waited for ten minutes for a lane to open. read more

My boyfriend just moved to Arkansas and have come in here the last 4 days in a row, the first time to look around, the second time we took a run at the gun range, on the third we purchased a fire arm, and the fourth time we took our new purchase out for a spin at the range again. Had the best customer service by Pete. Everyone there is super helpful and awesome! read more

Great help finding ammo I was looking for that was out of stock everywhere else I looked!

A great store selling quality products. It's also fine if you simply want to shoot static. However, if you want to truly train and practice shooting skills such as transitions, shooting from holster, or shooting from concealed carry, this is not your place. Practicing your training skills on the lane is not allowed. read more

Excellent and very knowledgeable staff. Good ranges for both pistol and rifle. As an added bonus they have an indoor projection golf range, an archery range, and axe throwing. read more

You have to check this place out. They have a friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have a nice selection of handguns and accessories. The shooting range is clean and well-maintained. read more

We come here often overall - but this was our first time testing out the axe throwing. If you're into having a guide and being hovered around, this is not for you. Since my husband and I have been axe throwing a few times before, we were happy to skip the tutorials or be told what games to play. We got a solid hour of throwing time in because we each had a lane. It was a chill experience and perfect for a little date night. I'm now convinced I can be an axe thrower professionally! We curious to try our their shooting and archery ranges next time! read more

Updating my review because of the new owners response. Will be shooting him an email and trying them out again!

Went in to buy a string for my bow. The 3 guys at the front counter asked if I needed anything. I explained to them I wanted a string. All 3 said I would need to know the type and model of my bow. Which I replied, it's mine I know these things. Then the next excuse came, "well we don't know how to order that", "call next time". Never have I witnessed 3 people in retail not want to sell something. They were too interested in whatever was on the computer screen they were laughing at. I won't be back. Tonitown already has 10.5 % sales tax plus these morons. read more

Great place to shop and to practice your shooting skills. Shooting lanes well spaced, target easy to move to specific practice distances, staff knowledgeable and helpful read more

nice facilities but unfortunately cannot use them due to backwards management and unclear policies have made every trip out here unpleasant, seems whoever is working the desk that day decides the rules, such as being denied range access even after being a patron in the past multiple times and having signed their release form. Whereas other times they only cared what ammo you're going to be using. It's a shame I'll no longer be going here and will be a field with a berm instead from here on out, they won't be hurting without me but I enjoy giving the business to people who provide an enjoyable experience, don't know where that went here... read more

Nice facility. Great equipment and lighting. Help staff.

The Ozark Sportsman Supply is a great little independent retailer fo the type which is quickly fading in our retail landscape. The store has been redone and is laid out nicely. A good selection of firearms, ammo and accessories. Lots of Archery supplies as well. The shooting range is usually lively and full. The max 35 yard range is good for indoors but obviously won't allow long rifle sighting. And no, they don't want AR-15 yahoos pretending to be Rambo on the Range. The store is also complemented by a great clothing retailer that shares teh same building. They have great brands and a full selection. THere's also a coffee/Tea bar in-between the stores that's nicely done. Overall this is a great little space to shop, shoot, and sip if so inclined. read more

The folks here are all amazing. They are the most helpful and pleasant people that you will find in NWA! This is the best place that you will find to buy your new gun. We also use their gun range weekly and we always have a great experience! read more

I had a great experience here! I haven't practiced at an indoor range before, so I wasn't sure where to start--the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, very easy to work with. The facilities are state of the art and well kept, it creates a very approachable atmosphere all around. I was also very impressed by the selection available for rental and sale. I'll definitely be returning for my target practice needs, and I know where to turn with questions as well! read more

Hey what a great place this is for your sporting needs. I was here a year or so ago and guess what they added on and moved up to a top notch shooting range! The gun-tender for lack of a better word right now was awesome! They have a restaurant in there as well as Sporting apparel from billabong to under Armour and believe me I'm leaving some top names out right now. This five star rating comes very easy, the whole staff was nice. Shop here first for all your shooting needs! read more

Ozark Sportsman - Archery Near Me - Springdale, Arkansas

I have only used the indoor pistol range. There are lots of retail supplies and they have a lot of higher end firearms for sale. The staff is friendly. The indoor range is nice and comfortable buy typically very loud and somewhat crowded during busy times. They offer free use of hearing and eye protection. This place would easily get 5 stars if not for the frequently placed political propaganda...not everyone thinks Trump is god and not all people with liberal views want to take everyone's gun. read more

This was my first visit. I rented a lane in the pistol range. They provided my first target, the targets are automated. The place is very clean. I got a veteran discount. Very happy with this range and will definitely be back. read more

Unfortunately my experience has not gone well. I was trying to do a straightforward FFL transfer on a shotgun I purchased online. The first issue was lack of communication. After contacting the seller it was discovered the gun had been received three days prior by Ozark Sportsman but I had not received any notification from them that the gun had arrived. After calling to receive confirmation no apologies were given. I went today to pick up the gun after some 15-20 minutes I was told there was a problem with the NICS federal system. I then called another local FFL dealer and was informed the system was working for him. I've called back multiple times just to be told there must be something wrong with their system without a path forward for resolution. I have a very disappointed 9 year old son who was looking forward to shooting his first shotgun today with his father. Once I receive the gun I do not plan on doing any further business with Ozark Sportsman. If you are reading this I hope you have a better experience with them than I have had. Update: they were finally able to get their system working. They were kind enough to waive all fees. read more

4 days ago If you buy items from this business, make sure you only buy using credit cards. I bought two items for two different guns that I own with cash totally $108.28. These items did not fit my guns. And I had bought these items less than 24 hours ago from the purchase date and time. I was told if I had the original packaging and the receipt I could return the items. I brought the items in to be returned. The person behind the desk punched the two items in the register and then asked me for a credit card. I told them I paid cash and they said I was S.O. L. and would not return my money. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I am stuck with 2 items I can't even use!! read more

Decent Selection in Rifles, shotguns, handguns and knives. Ammo for everything, but not very deep in inventory; Archery Range/Rifle range indoors, a little pricey, but not too bad. Selection of miscellaneous hunting/shooting gear/goods is limited. General pricing is moderate to high, but they seem to stand behind the stuff they sell. They will also sight in your rifle for you. I ordered some pistol mags that they did not have in stock, and they had them in store and called me about 5 days after placing the order from FN. read more

PROS: Really nice shop in a great location. Selection is nice, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The indoor pistol range is about what you'd expect, out of an indoor pistol range, which is still a plus. They offer military and law enforcement discounts on range time, which I'm thankful for. All in all, their selection is good if you're looking for most things weapons & outdoors related. They carry most things ranging between marksmanship, hunting, fishing, & apparel. CONS: Prices are a little more than expected and definitely on the high side, when compared to similar industry. If you're looking for decent quality but on a budget, you might be a little hard pressed to find it here; as they carry mostly high end equipment. Example; Daniel Defense. As far as their retail items, also a good bit on the high side, comparatively. Range time is the only military/LE discount available, which really isn't a big deal as I'm not the type to ask for one. But it would be cool to see a store that offered it, as those groups typically frequent this kind of establishment. The pistol range as stated above is about what one would expect, with that said, I've also listed as a con due to the following reason: if you're a professional & you're wanting to get any rapid fire (realistic) training in, you won't be allowed to here, as they require you take a second or more between shots. The rifle range needs some serious work. It's on the short side when compared to most rifle ranges and that is to be expected, being that its indoors. Also, the rifle range is falling apart. During my visit, two of the target slides came apart. The ventilation system is so aggressive, you won't be able to keep your targets from swaying. Which is terrible for those trying to sight in their rifles. Lastly, they could use a few more staff on busy days as even during slow hours, they seem a little sparse. A few minor adjustments and I'd say Ozark is definitely worthy of an honest four star. I do enjoy the place. read more
