I appreciated how he had a patient and laid-back style of teaching, while still going over structured and well-organized content. The entire class took about 7 hours with three students. There was a good amount of hands on instruction in the classroom prior to going to the range. The range time was great! I had some limited experience shooting handguns prior to the class, so it was nice to have Jerad standing next to me, the entire time, providing coaching on how to handle the gun, trigger finger placement, breathing, etc... All in All, my wife and I both learned a LOT and feel more comfortable owning our firearms. I highly recommend this class to those of you that are new to handguns and want a strong beginner course.

We were out and shooting in no time. It was fun testing my range with the different target distances. Although, I regret not testing my luck with the 70 meter target :( One piece of feedback is to consider having a time limit for shooting the arrows, or at least allow people to shoot another arrow or two if they're finishing well before the others. It was common for us to be waiting a bit before we could grab our arrows. Overall I had a great experience. Also shoutout to Sean for great customer service. My daughter had such a great time she brought me back. The staff is very professional. It brought back fond memories of scout camp. The equipment is very nice. The facility is clean and new. I came home and immediately got my license, purchased a firearm, and was at the gun range working to improve my shot. This year, my accuracy improved dramatically and I'm even more fired up than before!! (Pun intended ) I have been a martial arts instructor for over 20 years and have spent much of that time teaching students how to disarm firearms, all the while not having any idea how to operate one myself! This course is an absolutely a MUST-DO for all instructors who wish to expand their knowledge of self-defense.
