Stopped by twice in the past week to look at a rifle. Staff appeared not to want to be there. Came back to talk about a rifle that a big box retailer had at a much better price. I like to buy local and asked if they could come down some, not to match it but come down some. Answer I got was that the owner was the only one who could authorize and they were out of town. Traded a SD9 VE for a Rugar LCP . The man showed me the difference between the 1st Gen and the 2nd . I got the 1st because of my budget, but they gave me a better price then the other places and were very knowledgeable about everything I asked. They charge you taxes on the FFL transfer. They have higher prices on USED guns than new guns at other stores in the area. Staff is rude, not very helpful. They low ball trade/sell values to ridiculous levels. Yeah $100 bucks for a used gun in better condition than the used one they're selling at $400... . Lots of better places in NWA to buy guns than Ozark to be sure. read more

You won't find a bunch of better guys and a wider selection of firearms and equipment in Springdale. The employees are not salesmen, they are shooters. They know guns. They aren't gonna try and up sale you. They always take care of me. I don't have a ton of money to spend on guns, but they get my business over any other shop in springdale. read more

Great selection of varied firearms. Prices range from superb deals to right at value to somewhat pricey - but on the whole I'd say they do a job giving you a decent deal. Also a wide selection of gear in two categories: Military surplus (largely Eastern European) and survival foods for the "prepper" crowd, plus lots of "tactical" gear for the tacticool crowd. I was looking for a .357 lever action rifle and when calling around, the Ozark Armory was the only business that had some. When I went to there business I was surprise that they had a selection to choose from. The fellow that helped me asked all about what I wanted in the rifle. It's a hit and miss on the customer service. I'll stop by every now and then to see what the have or purchase ammo. I have purchased two firearms from here and both time was help by two different employees who was helpful. Other time it seem like a hassle for them to even ask if I need help finding something. I came in here with money in hand to purchase a firearm. I was the only customer in the store and there were 4 employees. Every single employee was on their cell phone and none of them were interested in helping me. I finally asked one of the employees if I could get some help and he did not even look up. After 30 MINUTES of trying to get help, I left without spending any money. DONT GO HERE! The employees are rude and careless! Spend your money somewhere else. read more

Great selection horrible horrible horrible customer service. I and a friend went in there to spend some money that was burning a hole in our pockets, we had heard great stories about the selection , we were not disappointed in the selection just the go to h@ll looks we kept getting . After about 15 min of looking and trying to ask a few questions it was to uncomfortable to keep trying so we decided to go spend our money someplace that wanted our money or at least could look me in the eye and be kind of polite . Apparently you need to have hundred dollar bills strapped to your hat or have grown up with the staff to get any kind of info from these guys . For the owners info we had about 1200 dollars to spend but because of the weird and awkward treatment we got we will spend that money at some wonderful gun shops that are actually cordial to the customers!! read more

Great selection of Guns and ammo. They do not stand behind the guns they sell though they claim to. and the Prices are a bit inflated compared to there competition. I do love the fact that they have survival foods and gear as well, but I buy/sell most of my guns and ammo elsewhere. read more

I special ordered a gun on Ozark Armory's website. I wasn't expecting it for a week or two but it arrived within three days. I picked it up on a Thursday evening and was able to talk to a sales clerk as soon as I walked in the door. He was knowledgeable and helped me find ammo and some accessories I needed. Prices here are slightly higher than at Cabelas or Academy but the staff are by and large much better than Academy's employees and it's much easier to get in an out than at Cabelas. read more

This is the only place that had BCM rifles in stock. I knew I wanted to upgrade to one but wanted to feel and inspect one first. I put a BCM Recce-16 in Lay-a-way with my income tax funds. I live 85 miles away in Oklahoma but go to the Fayetteville VA which is not far from Ozark Armory. Some of my payments were mailed using Postal Money orders and I eventually paid my last payment. The was no (sales) in the (sales)man who handled my final purchase and I felt I was being rushed to leave. No attempt was offered to unbox the weapon and explain contents or to ask if I could be shown anything else. Despite a lack of enthusiasm from employees I ended up with a great rifle. Walked into the store there was 2 employees and 1 customer. Was there to buy a gun that I was told they had when I called a few days earlier $1000.00 stood over by the ar10 section waiting. Another customer walks in and said he was there to pick up a couple guns they jumped right on that. I made sure I was seen on numerous occasions. That customer left with his guns and then the other employee begins helping the other customer that was there. I was there for 20 minutes and never even had anything said to me much less any help. I walk towards the door and still nothing was said to me so I left. I called up there and the younger guy answered the phone I asked him who the owner was and he stuttered around and said we really don't have one. WHAT KINDA ANSWER IS THAT EVERY BUSINESS HAS AN OWNER. Bought guns and ammo from here before but not again and sounds like the owner should get a better grip on his employees read more

I went into the sore for the first time on 2/6/2015. I wanted to remove a bullet button on an AR that I purchased in California. The men behind the counter were very helpful and actually installed the new parts as a courtesy while I waited (less than 5 minutes). I had been looking for a certain model of the Bond Arms Derringer which they had in stock. I noticed that it was $25.00 cheaper that other gun stores so I made the purchase. As I shopped around inside the store I found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Selection is huge on all types of firearms, prices very fair and staff very helpful and know their stuff. very expensive i bought a ruger 10 22 later i found out that walmart had the same riffle for $35 less on top of that and they charged me 5% for paying with debit and everytime i go they treat me horrible , they have bad customer service i honestly think they are racist ... also i bought some military surplus ammo and it didnt work they refused to change it or give me my money back ... do yourself a favor and go somewhere else ... read more

I have never recieved customer service while there. I stand there and wait and wait while two or three sales persons or with ONE customer and they just leave me standing and waiting and then when I finally do get someone to help me, they act like they would rather being doing anything else then working. . I recently bought a pistol there and gave nearly $600 for it and then came back the very next day and asked a different salesman how much they would give me for the gun as a trade in. I didn't tell him that I had just bought the gun the day before and he offered me $175. I am sorry but I don't have to buy from them to get what I want. Maybe if the owner, the guy with the beard and glasses' who always stays in the back room didn't walk around like he had a stick shoved up his a**, then the rest of the employees wouldn't have bad attitudes either. All I know is I don't have to go to them for what I want but they have to have people like me if they want to stay in business. They need to think about that the next time they roll their eyes the next time I ask a question about a gun they have!!!!!!!!! read more
