There's an elevator right in front of entrance to peruse in going up and down the offices. However, the general public is allowed only at the ground floor specifically the workforce connection and live scan areas. Free two hour limited parking is available in the city lot. There's also three parking spots available right in front of the building in Olive. No parking is allowed at Third St. No restroom is available for the general public. If you will need one, you will have to walk towards the Community Development Building. Personnel in the workforce connection who assist the public in job hunting are very friendly. Computers, printers, copiers, fax machine, phones, newspapers, and job postings are provided to job seekers free. However, there's a $6 fee for typing certifications. Chuck who does the live scan fingerprinting is always very efficient. He does his job with ease which can be attributed to many years of experience. There's never a line because an appointment is required for fingerprinting.

His office reached out to me, expressed sincere condolences, and got me an appointment and my passport in 2 days. I've had two separate late-night encounters with Burbank police officers that left me feeling…read moreextremely uncomfortable. The first incident occurred near Alameda Ave. An officer pulled me over and claimed that I had been swerving. I did not believe I had been swerving, and the interaction became increasingly uncomfortable when the officer looked into my vehicle and questioned a Diet Coke can inside my car. I was simply driving and did not feel that my behavior warranted that level of scrutiny. The second incident happened after I left a CVS in Burbank that is open 24 hours. I go there at night because it is a 24-hour pharmacy, so being there late should not in itself be unusual. Shortly after I left the parking lot, another officer pulled me over and claimed that I had exited the lot too quickly. He also questioned my window tint and mentioned that my headlights were off as I was leaving the parking lot. My headlights were in the process of being turned on as I exited. My window tint had also previously been checked and verified to be within the legal limit. What concerns me is that these were two separate encounters with two different male officers, and both made me feel unnecessarily scrutinized. I understand that officers have a responsibility to enforce traffic laws, but there is a difference between a legitimate traffic stop and an interaction that leaves someone feeling singled out or intimidated. The repeated police presence has made me increasingly uncomfortable when I am simply going about my normal business. Having two different male officers pull me over on separate occasions and make allegations about my driving that I dispute has made me increasingly uncomfortable driving in Burbank. Separately, I frequent a local coffee shop as well as a 24-hour store in Burbank, and I have repeatedly noticed police officers showing up at or around these locations while I am there. I do not know the reason for their presence or whether it has anything to do with me. However, after experiencing two separate traffic stops, repeatedly noticing officers at places I regularly frequent has added to my discomfort. This ongoing stress is affecting my ability to complete my daily duties and responsibilities. I understand that officers patrol the city and have a responsibility to enforce traffic laws. At the same time, these experiences have left me feeling unnecessarily scrutinized during ordinary activities and have created significant stress. I'm sharing my experience because this pattern has made me uncomfortable and is interfering with my ability to carry out my responsibilities. I hope interactions with members of the public are handled objectively, professionally, and respectfully. I have an upcoming court date and will be explaining this to the judge. I hope justice will be served.

There was a wait due to people in front of us not having all their paperwork filled out properly, but the office itself was great and made the process quick and easy. A couple weeks later we had our passports. We did go on December 24th, so it may have been less busy, but if so, I recommend going on a non traditional day like the 24th. Pro tip - be courteous to others and have all their paperwork filled paperwork completed before you get there. The instructions are detailed and will make everyone happy and save a lot of time. This building is an old art deco style building, it is beautiful inside and the kind of building you just don't see anymore. The builders and architects took care to make this a classic landmark in Burbank, more than just City hall. The details around the building inside and out are amazing and worth looking around, murals in the walls, an aeronautical them inside and they have this massive old post office box that is no longer in use, but was built like Fort Knox, it is very cool and it is pretty inside. If you have to take care of anything that is City or Government related, I would recommend Burbank City Hall, they made the process quick (as quick as a Government facility can be) and the building itself is nice just to look around at while you are passing the time waiting for your appointment.
