Difficult to navigate scheduling an appointment online for what I need, on hold for several hours, and if you go in person you have to also wait several hours just to make an appointment for another day most likely months out even if you're asking a simple question, following up with an application, etc. All these years they had the wrong date of birth in their system, sent a new card which never came and they don't seem to care or want to help. Overall condescending and unkind attitude from the staff, and an overall waste of time for me.

Located at the corner of Olive and Third St, across the Burbank Courthouse. This is a three level…read morebuilding composed of management and recruitment services in the ground floor, payroll and finance in second, purchasing and workers related matters in third. There's an elevator right in front of entrance to peruse in going up and down the offices. However, the general public is allowed only at the ground floor specifically the workforce connection and live scan areas. Free two hour limited parking is available in the city lot. There's also three parking spots available right in front of the building in Olive. No parking is allowed at Third St. No restroom is available for the general public. If you will need one, you will have to walk towards the Community Development Building. Personnel in the workforce connection who assist the public in job hunting are very friendly. Computers, printers, copiers, fax machine, phones, newspapers, and job postings are provided to job seekers free. However, there's a $6 fee for typing certifications. Chuck who does the live scan fingerprinting is always very efficient. He does his job with ease which can be attributed to many years of experience. There's never a line because an appointment is required for fingerprinting.

His office reached out to me, expressed sincere condolences, and got me an appointment and my passport in 2 days. My boyfriend lives in LA in the Harvard Heights area and every time I'm at his house I turn on the citizen app and I'm shocked at how much crime is happening at any instance there. Whenever I'm at home I open my Citizen app for fun and it's always so safe and quiet here. I feel like our police department is a huge reason for that. Even being in high school I was also really proud to be living in such a great city. Every interaction I've ever had with officers has always been very respectful to me. Came here back in December to get passports for the Family. I must say, the process was much…read moreeasier than I expected. There was a wait due to people in front of us not having all their paperwork filled out properly, but the office itself was great and made the process quick and easy. A couple weeks later we had our passports. We did go on December 24th, so it may have been less busy, but if so, I recommend going on a non traditional day like the 24th. Pro tip - be courteous to others and have all their paperwork filled paperwork completed before you get there. The instructions are detailed and will make everyone happy and save a lot of time. This building is an old art deco style building, it is beautiful inside and the kind of building you just don't see anymore. The builders and architects took care to make this a classic landmark in Burbank, more than just City hall. The details around the building inside and out are amazing and worth looking around, murals in the walls, an aeronautical them inside and they have this massive old post office box that is no longer in use, but was built like Fort Knox, it is very cool and it is pretty inside. If you have to take care of anything that is City or Government related, I would recommend Burbank City Hall, they made the process quick (as quick as a Government facility can be) and the building itself is nice just to look around at while you are passing the time waiting for your appointment. Burbank's passport office is located here as well and yes, they will take your passport photo for you. Ask anyone, the passport service here is amazing. Free parking right behind City Hall.
