We've never had Peruvian food before and everything was very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. It was a cute little restaurant pretty decor. The only problem we had was our bill there were many charges that needed to be removed. So keep an eye on the bill they made lots of mistakes. But it was rectified

Started off with a Pico Sour and Cerviche Classico. Was excellent. Then for our meal, we had the Ribeye, Paella, and Cornish Hen, also all excellent. And for desert we had the Chirimoya iced cream, with a complimentary Panna Cotta; both of which were delicious, though I preferred the panna cotta. The service of course was great. Would love to stop by again.

Food was delicious. Ambiance comfortable. Service (Nelly) and owner (Sigi) friendly and hospitable. We had the Adobo, lomo saltado, ceviche, grilled octopus, pannacotta, tres leches and cherimoya ice cream.

I wasn't in the mood to go out in a Sunday evening but I'm so glad I got a second wind. My wife knew how much I love ceviche so put a hook in me to have some of my favorite food- Peruvian. We arrived and were delighted to see such beautiful decor and authentic feels that compliment the food. Service was traditional and friendly. The servers we had were genuinely glad we were there. We were offered cocktails and the night only got better. As you can see from the pictures, we ate like a king and queen. The overall experience is one we want to have again- and soon! Desert was a warm brownie with some ice cream made from local flavors and we really enjoyed it as well as the tasty shots of pisco mixed with some local flavor. While they've only been open two months, they've gotten the whole package running on all eight cylinders. I'm promised a delicious cup of coffee when they get their machine in the future. All the best of luck !!!

From the ambiance to the cuisine, everything was delightful and well executed. I especially appreciated that the music was kept at a comfortable level and was neither loud nor distracting. We ordered the grilled octopus and a kale salad as appetizers, both of which were excellent. For the main course, we selected the pollo a la brasa, salmon, paella and seco. The chicken and salmon were outstanding; however, I found the seco to be somewhat overpriced given the portion of meat served. The desserts, the brownie and the cherimoya ice cream, were not overly sweet and were truly pleasing to the palate. Finally, the waiters were attentive throughout the evening. I recommend Urubamba and look forward to visiting here again in the near future.

The service is OUTSTANDING! The server greeted us outside and was great. The owner checked on us and thanked all of us for visiting (shaking hands) . The decor is beautiful. I don't know the names of all the dishes, but I really liked the fried one. I LOVED the mashed potatoes that were part of a meat dish - even asked for the recipe lol. This place is new, but already very popular

Nice ambiance, friendly service. The food was mostly very good. We ordered the pollo Ala brasa which would have been a bit better if they had used a chicken instead of Cornish hen which was dry. Potatoes that came with it were delicious and the sauce was good. Pisco sours were delicious, and so was the ceviche mixta. Our friend ordered the salmon which he said was very good. Dessert was a mixed bag. Great sales pitch enticed us to order 2 desserts when we seldom order even one. The ice cream was homemade and full of ice crystals unfortunately and not very good. The panna cotta was very good. Overall we enjoyed the meal and I would recommend this restaurant.

This place is insane ! Highly innovative menu with interesting and fresh Peruvian food. The ceviche is very fresh and tasty, also the 'lomo saltado' was so fresh and nourishing. So so good. Also the service was top notch, they told the story of where their ingredients come from and what part of Peru they're native to. This place is a great addition to the village.

We tried Urubamba on a whim for a light snack and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff and service is attentive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We were first offered a complimentary non-alcoholic drink and a fresh fried corn snack. We ordered a vegan appetizer that was flavorful and unique. We also loved the octopus appetizer. The yucca fries were freshly made - crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. Ambience is clean and very nicely decorated. This is hands down a place will visit again.

Wow! A fantastic addition to the Huntington Village dining scene, Urubamba is located just north of the village where Babalu used to be. The owner, who welcomed us at the door with a warm handshake, did a great job renovating the space, making it light, bright and welcoming. The bartender is a master; the incredible Uru Sour (Pisco Italia, Black Whiskey, elderflower, yuzu, egg whites) he made me was so good I had to have two. The food itself was amazing: Leche de Tigre with calamari special appetizer was easily the best ceviche I've ever tasted. We also had a colorful and tasty vegan causa to start. On suggestion of my son (who'd eaten here once before), i had the lomo saltado as my main, and it was excellent. Tender beef, crispy potatoes and flavorful sauce. We ended with a pair of divine desserts: chirimoya ice cream and manjar blanco tres leches. Throughout, the servers and owner were so friendly and warm, telling us about the history of chirimoya. Urubamba is the best Peruvian restaurant I've ever been to, and I cannot wait to return and try more dishes.

    Fun!

Fabulous flavors! Owner/waiter/waitresses/barmaid...all knowledgeable and eager to please. Love the mini history lessons where flavors were developed and various foods came from. We will be back to this gem.

I literally bought one mini baguette, took a bite outside the store and walked right back in for 4 more. It is THAT good. The texture and flavor was simply perfect, and having to warmed with a schemer cutter was heavenly. Now it's important to note that I live at least 30 minutes away, and returned 3x since my first visit to try their breads. TBH, it doesn't even matter what you get! They are ALL the BEST versions of whatever bread it is! I literally walked out today with 6 loaves of bread and as a carb-a-holic, I am here to confirm that Duck Island has THE BEST bread in NY. PS I am literally gnawing on a piece of sesame something (looks like a branch of leaves - so pretty) as I'm typing this. Just amazing!

Not only did these set me back $9 total, but were annoying to eat and not worth the cost at all. The minimal chocolate filling had sunken to the bottom and completely fused to the wrappers, and the muffins were very dry inside, not soft and fudgey like chocolate babka should be. Everything they have looks and sounds incredible, but the two muffins I got were very overpriced and not nearly good enough to be worth it. Additionally, the parking situation is a nightmare, with people parking in spots that don't exist in a lot that's already way too tight.

Pricing is reasonable, shop has an upstate or even Vermont feeling. Staff is kind and patient. Polite. Lemme talk about the food for a second. Got the Feeling Tot burrito. Subbed cheddar for smoke Gouda and added bacon. HOLY HELL. This burrito brought up emotions I haven't felt for a breakfast in centuries. Warm and melty, it wasn't like any of these greasy, wet, fat covered offerings from other delis or breakfast shops around the island. Or that I've had in NY in general. They chopped the bacon, which let's be serious here, is the only way to do it. Eggs were fluffy, light. Cheese was nothing short of smoked magnificence. But the pièce de résistance, the glue that brings your taste buds to their knees, the tots. If you don't like tots, you're wrong. And these tots were somehow crispy and soft. No oil, no sog. The chipotle sauce brings it all home and then they grill the whole damn thing and serve it to you on a platter of gold and diamonds. At least that's how it felt. Do I recommend this? Uh duhhhhhh. 5 stars. All day.
