It seems like a good facility at first glance, however don't contact them unless you fully…read moreunderstand what they expect from you. If you are not ready to hop in the car or on a flight tomorrow, do. not. reach. out. !!!!! Financially, I can't just drop everything, quit my job, and come back a month later to find my belongings gone and nowhere to live. Not everyone has stability. I respectfully explained this to the "team" the first time I was told about Onyx. Their response was to harass me with continuous calls from different "representatives" in what seems like a call center. These people are untrained, unprofessional, and fail to read notes or communicate appropriately. They also choose to call at extremely inconvenient hours--often very early in the morning--and have woken me up multiple times. When I wasn't awake, I was shamed and berated for it. I'm sorry, but I work until 1 a.m. and don't get home until 2:30. This behavior gave me a terrible first impression of the facility--one that felt full of manipulation, gaslighting, and gossip. Like high school. (might be where Will is stuck living.) How can you expect to help people when this is how you treat them? These are often the first people potential patients speak to. What do you expect them to think about your facility after that? I truly hope the staff inside the facility are completely different from those in the call center. During one call, I could hear an agent named "Will" laughing at me, making sly comments like "this f*king girl, man," and talking to coworkers while pretending to cover the phone. He even called me back pretending not to be himself, only to admit it and start arguing again--very childish behavior for someone who claims to "know more because he's older." Another person, "Bobby" or "Robby," claimed to be the director of the facility. When I called the number back, I found out that was another lie. He told me he'd listen to the call between Will and me, said he'd handle the situation, and promised that only he would contact me monthly to check in at agreed times. He never called back. This morning, I was woken up again by an agent who called herself "Liz." Liz ignored the "DO NOT CALL" note clearly listed on her screen. She seemed upset when I reacted to being woken up again and because she failed to read notes. i used to work in a call center myself and i'd never reach out before reading over the case, especially if i worked in the mental health field. When I tried to reach "Bobby" again, I confirmed that his story had been false. I'm left completely turned off and doubtful of how this facility operates. If these are the personalities chosen for their first point of contact, how can anyone trust that the staff inside are any better? For reference, the other number in which they contacted me from, claiming to be the director was: +1 (724) 472-4365, in case anyone else is experiencing similar treatment. I truly hope you find healing, and I hope Onyx re-evaluates how they treat people seeking help. oh and that Will finds a new calling. maybe mcdonald's ? thank you for coming to my ted talk

He left behind a grieving wife, not understanding why and 2 small children. Oh yeah, he said the soft serve ice cream was good. I was give a piece of loose leaf paper to give my contact information to the education coordinator. The program building is in a strip mall which is where the intake took place and is not on the same location as the housing facilities. The tech and nurse, while very nice, were not helpful and were not able to give me straight answers about the facility. The biggest RED FLAG was when I asked to see the housing facilities. They were unwilling to let me see the housing facilities. I spoke with one of the administrators after back and forth with the intake nurse and letting them know that that this was not acceptible as I wanted to be sure that my child was going to be in a safe environment. I was told by the administrator that this would not be possible without "scheduling well in advance" to be given a tour. At this point I stopped the intake process. This was after driving almost 200 miles from my home to take my kiddo there.

They will sit on the phone, on their little ipads all day long like they're doing their job or reporting stuff, but in reality they're watching instagram reels and clients are in their rooms doing Um not so good things I shouldn't name so this review doesn't get taken down. Why does nobody know when the group facilitator is going to come when we been waiting an hour and a half. Why does nobody know when lunch is coming but the staff are perfectly fine with getting their doordash here on time. AND WHY THE HELLLL is my food always never showing up but everyone elses is there. Like it's something new everyday. Don't expect to be fed like a normal human being because they treat you like a toddler. With only 3 messily mozzarella sticks to be called a meal. The actual meal that comes is not edible. SHOUT OUT TO MS. D FOR THIS, she tried my delicious blueberry oatmeal with almonds that i chose on the menu, she spit that crap right out Why? Because it taste like horse radish and kangaroo upper lip. It's not just the food that's horrible, and the overall teamwork and organization in the facility. It is the behavior. Not from the clients surprisingly, THE STAFF. They will laugh right in your face for crying. COUGH MS. KIRA. There is police called every other week because they keep kids that wont comply with treatment and like to fight. Not to put anyone on blast even though it is very much neccessary. There were mentally challenged kids being beat up. What did staff do? Nothing. Pls for the love of lord save your kids, send them anywhere else but ambrosia, I hardly made it out in one piece.
