Fastest urgent care visit I've ever had. I was in and out well under an hour. I hate shots but I got one anyway as well as a breathing treatment and sent home with 2 scripts! I was unable to see my primary care and was advised to go to Urgent Care. After registering at another clinic which had a 2.5 hour wait I remembered passing by this clinic. They took me in right away. Checked my vitals, explained my insurance co pays, and my dr was seeing me within 15 minutes. She checked me out, made recommendations for treatment. They even did a follow up call the next day to see how I was doing. I felt it was very good service and the staff including the doctor were all efficient and professional but friendly. I was having terrible back pain and I knew it was because of my sciatic nerve that tends to act up all the time. I went in hoping they would be able to help and they did!!! I was given a shot that helped the back pain go away and gave me the opportunity to actually be able to sit down and be a functional human... not only that, the doctor showed be a few exercises that would help my back pain.. best part was that my insurance had just lapsed, so I was prepared to pay an arm and a leg for treatment, but that was not the case.. It wasn't too expensive and they even gave me a Pharmacy discount card that helped me pay $7.00 for my meds instead of $39... there were two ladies and a gentleman working the front when I went and they were all super nice and helpful. Honestly the people here are so kind and competent - I was running very late and they were extremely accommodating and helpful, Dr. was quick but not dismissive in any way and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. Really pleased with the services that I got here today. Everyone is super friendly and I felt that I was treated in a reasonable amount of time. I went in with a sprained ankle and from the time I got there to the time I left, it all took about an hour and 15 minutes, and that includes x-ray time. I usually hate going to Urgent Care centers, usually for the long wait times and the impersonal "get in/get out" care. However I was struggling with an ear infection last weekend and knew I couldn't go to my primary physician on a Sunday. So I found UrgentMED, found easy parking, and walked in greeted by all the staff (fortunately I was the first person there!). I was immediately shown to a room and had vitals taken -- even before I finished any of the intake paperwork. The medical assistant was extremely personable and friendly, and I barely had to wait until the NP came in to examine me. We had an engaging conversation and he wrote me a Rx right away. I was in and out in less than 1/2 hour! Then a few days later I seemed to have another complication with my ear, so I returned in the middle of the day. I expected a wait this time because I knew I wouldn't be the very first person. However, once again, I was greeted by everyone who remembered me and again was immediately shown to a room. Several sick children from one family came in immediately after me and were taken care of first, which was completely understandable. The same med assistant as my first visit kept checking on me and reassuring me, and then the doctor was very efficient. The whole experience was very personable and they all seem so attentive to patients, which to me is rare in an Urgent Care setting! I'll definitely return there, especially when my own kids needs immediate nurturing care with little to no wait time. Thank you UrgentMED! read more

Had to come here for a fractured foot. The staff was very friendly and the service was very fast. There was no wait and the nurses and doctors were very attentive and knowledgeable. This is so different from any other Urgent Medical center I've ever been to. I have been there twice in the last 30 days, and in each case, I waited less than five minutes. In the first instance, they even told me after taking 20 minutes with me, turned me away without charging me because they were not equipped to handle my situation. The people are friendly and fast. This place was great! I had to take my boyfriend in for a cyst that needed to be drained, he was in so much pain! We got into a room right away even with a couple of rooms occupied. The guy who took vitals was in and out in a few minutes and assured that doctor was be in very soon and he was! Tony was great and very accommodating. The PA on duty Kevin Foster was thorough, and so re assuring that his wound would heal up just fine and it did. Overall great service, quick and very nice staff. Everyone was so attentive. They made me wait in line for an hour and then when my turn came said they're not taking insurance patients after 4:30 so I have to come back tomorrow. No decency or customer service. She kept just saying we came outside and told everyone this but no one in line before or after me heard her say anything. Just stood there for an hour for nothing. Not coming back here ever again. Also people who were not in line just went in before us and the whole thing was so unorganized, no directions or instructions from anyone. read more

I hadn't been feeling well for over a month, kept getting a sore throat and I went to other urgent cares who just passed it off as a viral infection and didn't give me many options but to rest and drink fluids. I came here a few days ago and everyone was so friendly, the front desk girl I believe her name was Marlene was really helpful over the phone by the time I came in I knew they accepted my insurance and they also had parking available. The best was the provider, she was friendly and explained to me the possibilities of why I had been sick for so long and I finally got some medications prescribed and an injection. I felt a lot better that day with the injection and after a few days I finally feel like myself again! After being sick for so long and the bad experiences elsewhere I highly recommend this urgent care, and as a bonus I only waited about 25 mins to see the provider. They're the best! read more

This place is amazing! After 9 days of the flu that only seemed to be getting worse, I decided it was finally time to see a doctor. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Within minutes of arriving I was in a room and offered water to drink. The techs were attentive and professional. I saw Dr. Ricki and she was so funny and nice. She figured out that my flu had turned into bronchitis and got me on the right meds. Within 24 hours I feel like a totally new person! I can talk again for the first time in 4 days. This review is not about those helping patients. It's about understanding and working appropriately for what is in the best medically for each patient. If I am a type one diabetic and my endocrinologist is asking me to call and let them know that I should be able to wait in my car either until my turn or for them to come to my car when it is my turn. Being susceptible to almost anything all grocery stores have done the right thing of opening an hour earlier for us. How can an actual medical facility where more sick people are NOT find a way to accommodate a high risk patient. No one is asking to go first. Great Urgent Care. Staff is friendly and so is Dr. Hill. The only complaint is that there is very limited seating area , about 5 seats? Some people are outside waiting for their turn. This place has been remodeled and I don't think put much thought on patient waiting area. That would turn people away if they see they have nowhere to sit, and it would be a shame because it's actually a good Urgent Care. read more

This was an excellent experience! I went around 9 a.m. and there was no wait. Everything from the person at the front desk to the doctor and the technician was just great; excellent service and the office was very well-organized. The place was clean and easy to park on the street or in the back. I had never been here before but my doctor sent me. Dr. Hill, the doctor, was friendly, knowledgeable and was wonderful. I've been here twice now. Once for a neck strain and once for my wife, who was sick with a cough. Both times I met Dr. Hill. Both times he was rude, talked down to me, and the second time my wife. He also made a negative comment about her age. This place did a great job of making us feel unwelcome and like we were inconveniencing them just by bring there. Also, the Male staff looked like they were stifling laughter each time they came into the room. Which made me feel like the staff is talking s***about the patients. I've worked in healthcare for over 10 years in actual hospitals. This place is unprofessional. If you want to be disrespected when you need care, go here. Probably one of the worst urgent cares I've been to. This place has caused me so much headache from their diagnosis and their bills. Do. not.go.here. The staff/doctors have no idea what they are doing. During the summer, I visited this urgent care over the weekend because I was having stomach pain from food poisoning earlier that week. To start, the doctor had terrible bed side manners - came into my room without knocking, didn't let me run through all my symptoms and kept talking over me. He ended running a urine test as well as a blood test which he noted he would send to the lab for further testing. He told me to take it easy and prescribed me some medication (I didn't take it) and sent me my way. I felt better two days later and figured that my stomach pain was probably coming from the food poisoning flaring up my insides. I recieved a call from the urgent a couple days after my visit with the test results from my blood work and another doctor informed me that I had a bacteria in my stomach. I was told I needed to take a couple antibiotics to clear the bacteria out. I went into to pick up my prescription and started to take the medication two weeks later. A couple days into the antibiotics , it made me so nauseous, gave me a bad headache to the point where I couldn't function. I eventually had to go back to urgent care because I needed to get off the medication. The doctor told me I couldn't stop taking them and I had to push through the week and a half that I had left. I kept telling me I wasn't feeling well and i've taken antibiotics before and this has never happened. He then looked at my charts/blood work and told me actually never mind IMMEDIATELY stop taking the medication because I should not have been prescribed antibiotics from the beginning......W.T.F? It looks like the other doctor who called me about my test results felt like I had a positive indication for the bacteria, but the results were so insignificant he should have advised me to go get further testing....at that moment I was so baffled at how careless these doctors were. As I was leaving, the receptionist asked how I was doing and I told her what had happened...All she said was that sucks...Gee thanks for your compassion. A month down the road, I got hit with a bill for $400+ for my lab work, which I was never informed of the price during my visit to UrgentMed. All in all, go to your primary care physician and do not go here. Trust me, don't be fooled by all the positive reviews. read more

Why have this service if you are not going to do it well. No communication from the staff. What does it take? Shove a swab up your nose and then test it. About a minute? What gives here? Haven't left a review for a while but my experience here definitely calls for one. Short wait time which is good but the time I had to spend with Dr. Hill was a little too urgent. He rushed me and didn't take any time to go over details with me or let me finish my questions. He opened the door to leave mid sentence and I had to ask him to stay to let me finish asking questions. He gave no definite response to my questions and instead just prescribed two medications with absolutely no guidance on when and how to take them. He left for a while and had an assistant take a throat and nasal swab. After waiting quite some time for results, he just popped his head through the door for 2 seconds and said "you're all negative. the front desk will check you out" leaving no room for me to ask any questions or details. I asked if I could get my blood sugar measured and with attitude he said "I can have someone do it but you're not supposed to get all of this at urgent care." He finally had someone come do the test but never went over the results and I couldn't even ask him about it because he would run away so fast. Professionals in this field are taught to have compassion with their patients and ask questions to provide the most quality care but Dr. Hill was lacking so many things. I complained of stomach pain and he didn't even ask me what my diet is like and what I've been eating that might be causing the pain... that's just one example. Overall a horrible and pointless experience besides with the medical assistants who were very nice and personable! read more

We had our first visit to UrgentMED today, where we saw Dr. Melvin due to my 2 year old son's ear pain. It was the most successful doctor visit my 3 year old has ever had! Normally terrified at the Doc's, Dr. Melvin and his entire staff made us feel welcome, had incredible bedside manner, were quick to treat my son, and he left feeling better AND with a smile on his face. It was such a great experience, we were disappointed to learn that they couldn't be our primary care doctors! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

This place sucks. First of all there walls are so thin that you can hear the next rooms private conversation and they can definitely hear yours. Save yourself and go to the other urgent med in Hollywood. It is worth the drive. They know to probably medicate and treat patients. I can here twice with bronchitis and they didn't know. They gave me a low dosage of antibiotics. Once I went to the Hollywood urgent they said I needed various shots and so many more medications. These doctors got their MD from a McDonald's. read more

I wish all doctors were like Dr. Hill, who I saw today! Truly the best doctor visit I've had in decades. He was attentive and treated me like a human being, even called me by name. We addressed my health needs and shared a few laughs over other subjects at the same time.
