I am so disappointed. I hardly ever leave negative reviews, and my previous review for this location was 5 stars! I went in a few days ago for a migraine. I'm on prescription medication, but sometimes it doesn't work. For years whenever this happens, I go to my doctor's office or an urgent care facility and every time I'm given a shot of Toradol, and every time, the migraine is gone within the hour. Poof! It's a magical drug for me, and a known drug that is widely injected for reaching people under migraine attack. Here's what happened this time: I was the only patient there. I was waiting in the room, the PA took my vitals, and I told him about the Toradol. Then I waited at least 15 minutes for the doctor to see me. Now, in most cases, this would not be a problem. However, I was the only patient and I could hear the the employees chatting away about some bad experience with a police officer and not believing the ID belonged to them, blah blah blah. They were chatting loudly just outside the door to the room where I was waiting. Then the door opened, and the voice that had been chatting for the last 15 minutes asked me what the problem was. Like not in a professional way. The lights were so bright so I had my sunglasses on and my hands over my eyes, so yeah, I looked strange. Buts she was clearly annoyed or something. Anyway, I told the doc about the migraine, the prescription not working, and how the Toradol is the KNOWN solution. She said "Huh. I've never heard of that..." and went on for a solid three minutes about how Toradol was the wrong thing, she's never heard of i being used for migraines, and how she wanted to prescribe another medication. I said if she wanted to prescribe the other drug, I'd try it, but the Toradol works, and I've gotten it from that location several times, so I wanted to the Toradol shot. Rudely, she turned, walked out, said to someone "she can have 30 of the Toradol" and left the door open. Never once did she express any concern or trust that I, a woman in my 50s, know what works for me. Instead she was insensitive to the situation and confrontational. I did the get the shot and the migraine was gone within about 40 minutes. The med (Topiramate?) that she prescribed, but the way, was not available for pick up until the next day (not helpful for a massive migraine). I looked it up, and it wouldn't have helped anyway--it's for prevention (like my other meds) not management once the symptoms begin. So. Looks like I'm not going to this location again. The receptionists were nice, but they don't do the "care". The med assistant was like a robot, but what gets me to log on write a review is the "care" I got from the rude, racist, noncaring, condescending NP Paramesway, who was not interested and made leave crying. If you have a choice, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Total waste of time and makes you feel worse for being treated the way she thinks is ok to treat patients. My goodness healthcare has spun into a nightmare now. Unless of course you are not legally here, or not American. Times have changed. Sad. Came in for stitches on my right hand after cutting it with a knife well cutting meat for a barbecue. I called them to ask if they can do stitches and they took a look when I got inside and were able to. Checked me in right away. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurse practitioner were very friendly. Thank you, Ashley and Lisa. This place is VERY unprofessional I came in for my TB test for work and the first male with long hair repeatedly stabbed me with the needle and informing me it wasn't going in getting the liquid all over my arm!!! and that he couldn't see felt like he was going blind is his words! leaning all his greasy hair into where he just cleaned ! I asked for someone else to be brought in and this girl came in and stabbed the needle in so deep in my arm! Very old equipment. I went in for something on my hand the doctor didn't even come near me to look at it she stayed by the door and told me I had shingles and prescribed me antibiotics. Not sure what has changed, maybe management? I remember this place used to take patients in at 8:55 pm even if they had a busy night. I came in today at 8 pm sharp. Maybe 8:02 only to be turned away but their website doesn't state they stop seeing patients at a certain time. Their OPEN sign was off even thought their website stated still open. Called around another urgent care in west sac with the same business hours. And they were still willing to take us even thought they had a busy night. It's 8:39 pm and I'm writing this review. Makes me question what would happen if a patient with life threatening symptoms was turned away or thought they were closed due to the fact that their open sign was turned off. read more

Ashlee is so freaking amazing. Her attitude towards everyone is so fun and kind. She genuinely cares about the people she meets even if it was only 10 seconds ago. Darren had me cracking up while i wasn't feeling well and I will say it helped me feel better. I love that everyone makes you feel welcome and at home while you are here. Chitvan at the front desk was so welcoming and kind, she was very thorough. This is the one urgent care that i have ever been to that has actually helped me feel better in more ways than one. Sylvia was my provider and she helped me work through everything that was wrong. She was kind and a great listener. It's rare to find places like this, where they actually care for the patients and not just getting paid. I HIGHLY recommend coming to this urgent care for any of your needs. read more

Strange and frustrating experience. My kid was in a lot of pain and we wanted to leave. They said they usually don't refund copays and I might be able to get my money back but I'd have to call the next day and ask. Very expensive just to sit in the waiting room. So against my better judgement, we stayed. They already stole my cash and also nowhere else is open. We've been here 3 hours. We've spent the last 20 minutes waiting in the exam room listening to staff frantically call pharmacies because they mixed up 2 patients and sent each one the other's prescription. Now it's the next day and upon reflection, still 1 star. Provider saw us for less than 5 minutes. Why not do that real quick before making us wait so long in the exam room? I heard her chatting and laughing at the nurses station well after the pharmacy phone calls wrapped up. It was like stepping into an alternate dimension. This place defies understanding. After being denied at 2 other Urgent Care places, I called and asked for help. I sliced my hand. Open and since I already have a disability, I'm already at a disadvantage so I explained that I was denied medical service at two urgent cares and she said come right in. Will look at it and see if you need to have lots of stitches and emergency room visit. Her staff went out of their way to attend to my need since I'm already in a wheelchair and at a disadvantage I can't remember all the names. This is one of the best urgent care providers I have been to over the years. Saw them for my son's hand injury. The front staff, Jessica the provider and the assistant were awesome. My husband called prior to his visit to confirm they could take him for stitches. The staff said yes absolutely, when you arrive we will check you in and take care of you. He arrived less than thirty minutes later, with a deep gash bleeding. The front desk said they were at capacity and denied him service. They asked to look at his cut and it started to gush blood EVERYWHERE, all over the front desk and him. They verbally agreed he needed stitches but refused to see him. The manager came out and said "if I put you on the waitlist then I have to see you". Essentially saying you CAN put him on the waitlist, you're choosing not to. Whether it was a want to get out on time or simply not wanting to take more patients- it was NOT at closing time and NOT before cutoff of the waitlist. They failed to take care of my husband as he bled all over their wait room, which by the way they wiped up with just gauze and sent him on his way. You're an urgent care, your job is to take care of patients regardless of your wait list, wait time, or if you want to go home on time. If I could give negative stars I would. Very poorly run. I'm not kidding when I say we waited two days for my boyfriend to get an X-ray at this office. Day one we left early after waiting hours and he was told to sign a paper saying he would refuse treatment that day and that he couldn't return till the next day. He sign and we left to return the next day. If he didn't sign they said they wouldn't ever see him again. Day two: the following morning we arrived 15min after they opened. We were told the x ray tech got in at 10:15 and he would just need to set up but my boyfriend was #1 on the list to get his xray done. And they said he'd need time to set up so hopefully around 10:30 he will take him back. We heard them from inside the patient room say at around 10:15 "hey this is our new xray tech" to the rest of the staff. Then it was 11:15 and we could hear them from inside the room again: "did room 3 ever go in for the xray?" Seems as if a bunch of young 19/20 year old girls there. Poorly managed. Came here on a Saturday morning before they opened at 9 am. There was a line of about 4 people ahead of me already waiting at the door. Once they opened the doors, check in process was super easy..(tablet on wall) then they texted me with the second process of the check in to verify pharmacy choice and reason for visit. I'd say I waited about 40 minutes before I was seen but went by really fast. I was there for suture removal and Katie Was the person who removed my stitches for me. She was super sweet and kind. And was able to get all 16 stitches out with little to no pain considering how tight my stitches were put in. All of the staff from the medical assistant and provider that I came across that day on my visit were very professional and respectful. This location was very clean, I would highly recommend this specific urgent care. They take no insurance as well. It was 125$ flat fee for the office visit then 80$ for the suture removal. read more

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would! Both this location and another list that they are open till 9:00pm. I arrived around 8:20pm at the first location, empty parking lot / empty lobby yet was told they weren't taking anymore patients for the day since they have their "rooms full" in the back. Seems to me like these workers are more interested in getting off at 9:00pm on the dot and walking out the door then providing proper service till the hours posted online for your facility. If you care more about yourself than your patients then maybe you are in the wrong industry. Reminds me of restaurants and fast food facilities that want to hurry and clock out on the dot rather then provide the type of care and patience for their patients. Let alone a 4 year old child who needed to be seen urgently, after I went back to ask for the managers name which i was told was "Daisy" I noticed a nosey young minded nurse walking to talk and gossip to the receptionist about my dissatisfaction with their service and they were smiling and laughing through the window as if I couldn't see. Today was my second time visiting this location and both times they were amazing. Each time I've gone I usually go to their website to virtually stand in line. That process is very easy and you can upload a picture of your health insurance so that was you don't have to hand it to the receptionist (although the receptionists are always very kind and get to you right away). Each time I've been to this location there was usually only 1-2 other people in the waiting room and I was typically called back in less than 5 minutes. I think even if you didn't check in online you'd still be seen fairly quickly. My brother was also feeling sick like I was and needed to be seen so they actually let us just be in the same exam room which I found convent. The nurses were very kind as was the physician. They answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable before I went home. I'm very glad for the staff at this location and will definitely come back here again if I'm unable to see my primary care doctor. read more

This is the second time I been to this location with the same issue. Been coughing up brown phlegm, feeling super fatigued and naseous. Also feeling faint. Just for the doctor wish I knew her name... to tell me it's nothing. That all phlegm is bad... Brown phlegm means INFECTION!!!!! So I got a X-ray did research and what they say is normal definitely does not look normal. Anyways I went to the actual doctors because HEART FAILURE runs in my family. And I know for a fact that this is not normal I got an answer right away from the X-ray I got here with more X-rays I have pulmonary embolism. So thank you so much for the the no help. And acting like I'm stupid also thanks for the help with my other issue that wasn't addressed what so ever. Other than the kind ladies up front and the two gentlemen assistance.
