Tammy clearly had the skills required and understood what I wanted to correct which was apparent after the first treatment. This was work that required some abrasive action along with some various applications of other products. Some of it featured a little sting here and there but the bottom line was, after the second treatment the itching had stopped. Tammy continued over the final four sessions to refine and texture the rough spots and extract tiny little bumps. She also minimized a small facial scar that I hadn't really been aware of. Since I went in primarily looking to resolve the itching, all the other work Tammy did was for me a bonus. My skin looks and feels much better. I also decided to start using a loofah sponge to maintain everything that was done. After having been spoiled by stylists from La Jolla, to Manhattan Beach to Pasadena, CA, after relocating to the PNW, I started my search in Portland. After a few failed attempts in coordinating appointments at top salons in Portland (they rescheduled and then I had to reschedule, then they rescheduled), I asked a colleague where she had just gone (her coloring looked fantastic). She referred me to Nico Bella. I called and immediately got an appointment with Wendee. Located in downtown Camas, I have always been able to find a parking spot within a block. Its a cute little shop that offers other treatments (I have used the manicurist, too). Once having my hair done by Wendee, I have never wandered. It's refreshing to have a stylist give you an honest opinion when experimenting with a new hairdo or look. Plus, I look forward to escaping the hectic work day to her quiet salon and leaving revitalized. As if that wasn't enough, during Covid, she has developed the best salon safety protocols hands down. I have sent multiple family members to visit her salon, feeling assured that she follows so many safety protocols. Plus, family members have left feeling the way I do.
