How I love this tiny unassuming little local gem! We've been here a bunch. First off, the decor and ambience are just perfect. It's just so pretty, artistic and interesting to look at. The music is a cool authentic cultural vibe to set the mood. The staff is very friendly, so helpful, yet unobtrusive. We feel like we are pampered well. Now the food-we choose medium heat and it is spot on. The apps are great and this time we chose a new one. We got two entrees of chicken tikka masala and a vegetable one. We also got garlic naan--delicious!! Also Included-as much rice as you like. We were SO full and satisfied, but the gentleman waiting on us still had us try a new dessert complimentary-mango ice cream-WOW! Again, unique and delicious. Prices and portion size commensurate with area. Expert tip--come for happy hour, drinks half off! Thanks for following me. Happy 2026!

I tried to avoid words like favorite because every time I find what I think is my favorite restaurant in Miami I come across another that seems to completely fit that category. But I have to admit that this one checks off all the boxes and now that I live closer is a place where I find myself occasionally even more than once a week. That is because it is one of the prettiest restaurants to enjoy a meal in, the food is beyond exceptional, and the serving staff is so kind and attentive that I think to myself why don't other restaurants send their staff here to see how to do everything right. I love it here. I have tried a number of dishes here, but generally settle on the chicken, tikka masala, the Samosa Chaat, and some garlic naan. That is not to say that the lamb vindaloo or chicken korma are not wonderful and that the other dishes and appetizers do not call out to me frequently, but these are standout dishes in a restaurant where everything stands out. Always served looking beautiful, the taste is consistently wonderful. Perhaps my only criticism is that their scale of spiciness is much lower than other Indian restaurants I have been to so if you like the food with more typical spice, let them know in advance and they will accommodate you. Don't simply stick with the mild moderate or spicy instructions. I love the decor and sitting under the umbrellas, I can't decide if they're going for romantic, classy, or simply comfortable. Somehow, the restaurant does all three at the same time. This is the kind of restaurant you put on your list of places to go again and again and again because they are consistent and absolutely never disappoint. In a city that seems to really know how to do Indian food. I must admit I have several that I enjoy, but this is the one I returned to often not only because of the food but the intangibles. Love it here.

5 stars when it comes to authentic Indian food. We have dined both in the Kendall and cutler bay location and we always leave with satisfied. We had 3 dishes shared family style for 4 with garlic naan on the side. Each dish was such a unique flavor and all were absolutely delicious. The Josh Rogan lamb is my personal favorite and that's always a must when I dine here. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or a family meal.... And honestly even take out!

At urban Rrasoi we enjoyed a flavorful dinner that definitely put them on our list of places to eat. The atmosphere is fine for a date night or casual dinner especially if you like aromatic fun flavors. We enjoyed, / Side notes, we love how their menu is both in English and in Spanish. When in Rome do as the Romans or in this case South Florida . You can ask for your items to be prepared Indian Hot! Don't do this if you're not used to it . The desserts were traditional Indian desserts like rasmila and gulab jammin but also included fusion flavors like mango flan and passionfruit Tres leche Lastly portion sizes, we were 100% satisfied with their hospitality, customer service, and traditional food flavors.

I was craving butter chicken and found this little spot. Placing the order was smooth, it would be ready in 15 min. I did have to wait about 5 min when I got there for the food but it was expertly packaged. Service was quick, the staff were friendly. Inside the restaurant was clean, it was very quiet because there were no guests, but they had music playing. The food was a solid 8/10. To start, I ordered samosas which come in an order of 3. They had a slight kick to them but the texture was perfect. The star of the show: the butter chicken was creamy, perfectly seasoned & juicy. The sauce mixed perfectly with the rice, which was yummy. I also ordered garlic naan bread and that was to die for. They have a loyalty program and a lunch special that runs Mon-Fri. I'll definitely be coming back!!!

The food, service and experience were amazing! Also tried an amazing dessert that I forgot to photograph. Great little hole in the wall that I would definitely recommend.

Urban Rasoi's lunch specials are a great way to sample various dishes from the menu. They offer the choice of chicken, lamb, vegetarian ,or seafood with you choice of preparation (tandori, korma, vindaloo etc). The special arrives on a nice compartment platter with several small servings of items. I opt for the chicken korma which came with rice, naan, lentils, chilly chicken, sweet potato fries and Gulab jamun, a fried dough. All of the items tasted fresh. The only item which I didn't eat was the fried dough which was covered in a syrup which was overly sweet for my liking. The service was adequate. My friend who ordered a chai had to request it several times. When it did arrive, she said it tasted (and looked) like instant. The food is definitely worth another visit.

We brought my sister for her birthday lunch, and from the moment we sat down outside, it just felt right. Blue skies, that warm Miami breeze, the kind of afternoon that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the people you're with. Sitting on the patio along South Dixie Highway, you get that classic local seafood vibe without any pretense. Just fresh air, fresh fish, and good energy. Now let's talk about the service, because it deserves its own spotlight. I'm totally blind, and if you've followed my reviews before, you know I notice how places handle that. Our server was phenomenal. She was attentive without hovering, detailed without being overwhelming, and helpful without a hint of being patronizing. She clearly paid attention to where everything was placed, described the dishes in a way that made them come alive, and made sure I could navigate the table comfortably. That balance is rare. It's professionalism mixed with genuine care. Thank you for that. It mattered. And the food. Wow. We started with the tuna wontons and conch fritters. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The tuna was bright and clean, with just the right crunch from the wonton. The fritters were golden and crisp outside, tender inside, with that classic South Florida seasoning that makes you want "just one more." I had the lobster bisque, and it was rich without being heavy. Smooth, creamy, layered with flavor, and clearly made with real attention to detail. My sister's boyfriend ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were loaded, well-balanced, and packed with fresh seafood flavor. My wife had the grouper fillet, grilled to perfection. I sampled both my sister's blackened fish and my wife's grilled grouper. The blackened had that beautiful, slightly spicy crust that wakes up your palate without overpowering the fish. The grilled version had what tasted like an Old Bay style seasoning that complemented the natural sweetness of the grouper perfectly. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nothing overdone. Nothing rushed. Just quality seafood handled the way it should be. All in all, it was a fantastic birthday lunch. Great service. Great food. Classic South Florida atmosphere. And the best part for us, it's right near home, which means we'll absolutely be back. If you're looking for a relaxed, authentic seafood experience in Miami, Golden Rule Seafood delivers.

The fish was fresh, flavorful and plenty. The rice and beans and asparagus were also good. My friends had the Mahi, sliders, Debby side salad and the salmon dish. One person thought the salmon dish was ok, but everyone else was impressed with their own dish. The key lime pie was too tart and sweet for me, but it was good in spite of that. The other guests LOVED it! After brunch, I went to check out the market that offered amazing seasoning, fish, dips and other treats for good prices. Derrick offered excellent service to everyone when it came to welcoming us and selecting fish. I was impressed and will certainly be back. Check them out and enjoy!

What we had: * BFG Tuna Steak & Eggs - Ahi yellowfin tuna steak cooked medium rare, two sunny side up eggs, toast with a side of their mouth watering garlicky mash potatoes. * Chilean Sea Bass - cooked so perfectly, it'll melt in your mouth. It really added to the ambience. The player was very talented! As appetizers we ordered the charred oysters, the pull-apart bread, truffle fries, and a wedge salad. They were all delicious. The fries seemed to just be a common frozen variety. I'd expect hand cut, homemade fries from a 5 star restaurant like this, charging $14 for an order of fries. But, they were ok. The bread was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my wedge salad. There aren't a lot of places where I can get one, so I was thrilled to be able to order one. I had wished they had oysters Rockefeller, but the charred oysters were delicious, and they had a salmon Rockefeller on the menu. I ordered the Barramundi fish with a stuffed baked potato and roasted broccolini as my sides. The fish didn't have a lot of flavor and was set in pool of (I think) olive oil. The oil didn't have a lot of flavor either. I would have preferred the fish just be served alone. The baked potato was HUGE! That could have been my entire meal! It could have been two meals! It turned into four meals, as I took home my leftovers. The broccolini was delicious. Probably my favorite part of my main entree. My daughter ordered the filet mignon. It was like butter! So soft, it melted in her mouth! It was a good portion and she had leftovers as well. She added a side of garlic butter, which at $7 was not really worth the cost. My husband had the lamb chops. They were so delicious! Cooked perfectly! He had a side of sautéed mushrooms that were absolutely amazing! I do think it was ridiculous to charge $7 for what equated to maybe 2 mushrooms. Our other daughter ordered the roasted chicken. It was delicious and a huge portion. She took at least half of it home. Our son ordered the spicy rigatoni with chicken. We all thought it was very odd that they brought a chicken leg on a side plate. Normally, at any restaurant, when you add a protein like chicken to your pasta, they put a cut, grilled chicken breast ON your pasta. This was neither on it, nor a chicken breast, nor was it cut. We all thought it was the most strange way you could give someone their protein for their dish. The pasta was delicious and a large portion that turned into 3 meals. Our waiter, Alonzo, was wonderful! He explained everything to us! We ordered a bottle of wine and he told us the really cool back story of the brand. He told us how long our meals would take to prepare. He was very attentive and helpful. I will say, for a restaurant called a "Vineyard", I'm shocked they don't have a more extensive wine list. There were maybe 5 Sauvignon blancs, and 4 of them were from California. Only one was from New Zealand, which is the one we ordered. I think they have more drinks than they have on their menu. I feel they're missing an opportunity to sell more by not letting the customer know everything that's available. I don't know if I would return. It's very expensive in the sense that they charge you for every little thing. It was a nice place to go for a special occasion, but I don't know if it's worth it.
