Andrew Davis is definitely upscale and have the prices to prove it. My recent visit was my first time in, and they seemed to treat me as well as the guy in front of me that dropped significantly more money in the store. They have some pretty high end fashion, and it looks great. They also have accessories and some shaving products, which is why I went in. I was referred there by The Briar and the Burley, another excellent downtown shop. Having run out of my favorite shaving cream, I have been desperate to find something almost as good. The sales person I talked to was very friendly, and took the time to talk to me about their products and pointed me to the Jack Black line, which was somewhat similar to what I had been using. I have been thrilled! (Hint - guys, dump those multi blade toys, and get back to real shaving... a nice double edge razor, bristle brush, and good shaving cream are fantastic!) If I had the money to spend, I would find a way to spend it in here. Awesome shop all around.

Yes, Jan still works there, and, yes, I am sure the reviewer's experience with her was accurate (I've overseen many of her interactions with customers, and always make sure I avoid her checkout lane). Not a good beginning. Anthony's Pets has closed and moved out beside two more empty stores, then three jewelry stores face the Target rotunda. Continuing down the concourse I saw three more empty spaces and two closed stores. The concourse between Dick's and the Food Court has the most popular and largest stores, H&M, Torrid, Buckle, Old Navy, Build-A-Bear, and no empty stores. When looking at the existing photos on their Yelp listing, the kiosks in the concourses have decreased significantly and some of them were closed. But I saw more people shopping here than I see in the Greenwood Mall (before the two recent incidents in the news) so I think the Bloomington folks are supporting their local mall well. The Food Court seemed adequate with the usual choices including a new pizza restaurant, Azzip Pizza, located very near the actual court seating area. The restrooms were clean. I liked how the sinks were separated from the rest of the facilities by being in a room of their own. They also looked recently renovated with new tile on the floors and walls. No issues with parking as plenty of spaces were available.

Kaleb and Mike were both working the day my fiancé and I stopped in and they were fantastic to work with. They welcomed us with Bourbon which isn't a bad way to start, they showed us a few examples of what they could do and then we got down to picking everything out for a custom suit; I never knew there were so many options that you could pick for a suit but they made that process pretty painless and provided some really good recommendations. I think it took about 3 weeks for the suit to be made and it looked awesome. Talk about right place at the right time; I guess the shop clears out merchandise seasonally with this AMAZING deal, and I took full advantage, stocking up on 2 bright blazers (one red, one bright pink), 3 floor length skirts (one floral print, one khaki cargo and one black), light pink leggings, I can't even count how many tops in various styles, a few bikini tops (which I like to work out in), a brand new pink flat to match the blazer, two pair of tailored trousers and I think that's everything I could stuff in my grocery bag! (The bag was provided by the store.) I also purchased a book of essays, a glass unicorn and a small jewelry box. Grand total: $6.42 --- I felt ecstatic, and maybe even a little guilty!!! (I also checked the original price tags on the garments, and on a regular day probably would have spent about $85.00, the price of probably 1 or 2 blazers in a full-price retail shop!) Thank you, Bloomington Thrift Shop, for a brand new wardrobe; I look forward to seeing what other treasures find their way through the shop! *Also ample parking and super friendly staff.
