I kept seeing an ad on my Facebook feed for this new nail salon in town so I decided to try it. Even though it's in a strip mall, once you're inside, the interior is gorgeous. This place is so picture-perfect, it would be great for a bachelorette party, a girls day out, or just some friends getting a pedicure together. The color selection for polish was outstanding - very modern and up-to-date options. I got a Mani-Pedi and both were fantastic. This could become my new go-to salon in the area!! read more

I've been here twice now, both times with an appointment. However, both times waited 45 minutes before getting the service started. The first time I was passed around to three different people for a fill and it came out horrible - with the thickest nails ever and misshaped. The second time was just a pedicure because who can mess that up? Well, again waited 45 minutes for an 18 minute pedicure that cost $65. The massage lasted exactly 1.5 minutes and there wasn't even a warm moist towel provided to wash off the lotion from the bottom of my feet. Will not be back. Way overpriced and extremely disorganized with poor service. read more

I loved my nails, but I'm rating 3 stars because one of my nails is lopsided (only slightly, keep in mind Im a professional artist so I notice these things), and my mom also got her nails done (gels) and they didn't last very long before cracking (maybeee 3 weeks). Also, when I was getting my nails done they hit my cutical and side of finger a little on several fingers and it hurt. I don't know if this is normal though, since its my first time getting powder nails. Very professional end product overall considering I would classify powder nails as an artform after getting them and I'm sure the employees are paid minimum wage, but overall rating 3.5 stars still because of the other problems.... and for someone struggling herself, its very expensive. Sorry, I understand the hypocracy here... I want people to be paid fairly too, but it is hard to justify if I was considering getting them even semi frequently. And then you have to consider you have to have them professionally removed or filled in if you want them to look good or are on the job hunt and need to look professional. Customer service was pretty great and they were friendly... but my mom has done her nails over and over and she said hygeine wasn't the best there... again, first timer, so I didn't notice but something to keep in mind i guess? sorry for the bad rating. I am actually really happy with the service and nails but I have to be honest with the other aspects. The decorations around the store were really pretty and they have a martini bar. My mom wasn't super happy with her end product eyebrows, I think she was under the impression she was getting skin dye for her eyebrows but it was simply a brow dye, so commication maybe could have been better, though maybe it could have been on my moms end, it would nice to have proactive communication when recieving a service. Additionaly nitpick that may be universal to nail places is that the smell of the nails while getting them done was hard to tolerate, and some of the employees seemed absent minded while doing the nails. Even so, my nails turned out great and it didn't bother me, but if this is something that bothers you I thought id mention it. Anyways, I am happy with the service and will be back, if in the area again. Thank you! read more

My mom and sister were visiting and we got some pedicures done! A beautiful atmosphere for a girls day. We were serviced by Kimberly, Dom, and Daniel. We took advantage of their fall package deal and I'm glad we did. They did a fantastic job with great conversation. They were always making sure we were enjoying the service and were liking the look on our toes and the pressure of our massages! Very accommodating. Will be going back! read more

Staff was very welcoming and kind the moment we got in. Accommodating and very cute. Lots of snacks and drink options to chose from while we get our nails done. Pedicure chairs are very comfortable and they did a great job with the massage, cuticule work and just paying attention to detail. The whole place is pink and extra girly and they come out for your pedicure with a whole little presentation. Great spot to go with a friend and prices seem normal for todays world. I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get pedicures. She arrived before me and they started on her with a "Pumpkin Pedicure" which turns out was going to be $108. ( i just edited this because i made a mistake, ithought it was $180) My daughter thought I signed up for that and they were going to do the same thing on me! I referred to my appointment confirmation text message which said nothing about a "Pumpkin Pedicure" package for either one of us. All I did was make an appointment for pedicures for her and i. I disputed it and they took all the trays away from my daughter. We voiced our wishes and went on from there. I really feel like they were trying to scam us. The man who did my Pedicure was so rough. I was in pain. I take care of my own ingrown toenails ( years of ballet shoes) and I had just trimmed them. He went in, digging on each big toe. I was in pain and said "OW" out loud. Did not stop. I withdrew my foot and he finally eased up. The leg and foot massage was painful...too much force, men shouldn't do this, I guess. The salon is very pretty but it didn't not make up for all of this. On top of everything, the manager buttonholed my daughter at the door, while I was paying for us and instructed her to leave a review! I told my daughter that I would leave a review. I resent places like this pressuring clients into giving a review like it's part of the procedure! A review should be done at the desire and discretion of the client. Not a good experience and it still cost me $155 for 2 of the 2nd most basic pedicures they offer. I edit this now because someone from the salon texted me regarding my review, correcting my mistake of $180 for the Pumpkin Pedicure. She further chastised me in a tirade of how I " badmouthed" the salon in a long text that I did not read in full, nor was i going to. Unreal. Being shamed for giving my honest review, except for my mistake from $180 to $108. I feel like I have been violated in some way and almost fear of retaliation somehow. This is just awful. I am not a " review" person, but I felt that so much was wrong in this experience that I felt a duty to share. What started to be a nice way for my daughter and I to catch up turned out so ugly. read more

I've been going to Urban Nail Bar for a little over a year and have always had a great experience. However, today it was exceptional! New nail tech Steven is my new Go-To-Guy! Had an appointment for 4:15 they didn't touch my nails till 5:00 unsanitary the lady doing my nails didn't even wash her hands in between end the person before and starting on my nails she had dust and glitter all over her hands from the person before for those prices I would go somewhere else. read more
