Otherwise, I had been feeling really bad about myself since the pandemic and hitting 40. I felt like I let myself go. After my amazing haircut I feel pretty again and I never thought I would feel pretty again. My husband said it is the best my hair has looked and told me he wants me to get my haircut here with Misty for so long as we remain in Montana (and she remains at the salon). It was a terrific experience. I'm not much for styling and the way she cut it I can just put some spray in it and it looks fantastic. I'm blown away. Honestly, it's probably been 15 years since I even liked my hair. I'd totally given up on having it long. I just can't say enough good things. The day of my wedding, 3 hours before my appointment, my stylist cancelled. Not only did she cancel on the day of my wedding, she didn't even refer me to another stylist or see if anyone else could cover for her. I specifically asked for a curly hair specialist and I understand those are hard to come by. However, people in the industry typically know other people in the industry who handle similar clients. I would never refer anyone to this salon. I informed my wedding photographer and officiant of the salon and the situation and they will ensure other people do not go to this salon in the future due to the unprofessional manner in which they conduct themselves. I had to leave my credit card on file in case I did not follow their cancellation policy. What happens when they don't follow their own cancellation policy? Especially for a bride on her wedding day.
