I was not satisfied with this company's service. No one showed up for the initial appointment to estimate the job. It was days later when they contacted me and made a second appointment. The estimate provided was based upon their rate of $125/hour per arborist. It appeared the work would take 3 hours for two persons. On the day of the work, the crew was on site for less than an hour, yet I was charged the full amount. I complained and was told the amount would be reduced, but I have not received and refund. i made an appointment and confirmed it. took time off work, drove 20 mins and waited. this is not my primary residence so I am not on site. After 10 mins I called Todd. he told me he had gotten busy and would be 20 mins late. I had an other appointment and I could not wait. I was upset but wanted the quote so I called back and rescheduled another appointment for which he did show up for. we went over options and what I wanted done. Todd told me it's be just time and dumps fees. We agreed and set a day and time. He did the work and sent a pic of the general area and it looked ok. I paid over $700 for this service within hours of getting the invoice. When I actually get to the site there is still debris and the pit is still pretty full but way better than it was. I sent pics of debris asked why the pit wasn't cleaned better. His response: The contract was for the yard debris and bark pile. Which we removed. The remainder of the debris in the back of the pit had construction materials, which wasn't part of our initial estimate. To be clear he never ever sent an actual contract or said anything of the sort to me in Person or on the phone. Never said I can take this but not that- I'll move the additional debris on my own and chalk it up to a "ok" experience. read more

Contacted them and they responded by phone saying they'd be able to inspect a damaged tree on my property the following week. After talking with Boe, I provided them with additional information about the property by email and they said they would be out the next day and would provide me with an estimate. Never heard from them again despite my follow-up emails and phone messages. Urban Forest Tree Service LLC is unreliable and untrustworthy in my experience. Will never consider them again and most certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. read more

Boe and his team were beyond great. When we requested a quote, Boe showed up on time and was extremely easy to speak with as we communicated our needs. His price was extremely competitive and he and his team arrived on schedule on the work day. The three of them worked tirelessly, putting in a 10 hour day while dropping 4 large juniper trees, a large crab apple, grinding the stumps and trimming another large tree. If there were options for 10 stars, I'd have used that instead. Incredibly hard workers working very efficiently and despite that amount of pruning debris, tree falling debris and pruning magnitude on this house having had over 2 or more years without any gardening work, they left the yard spotless.
