Egg: it's worth its own rating as I always request "over medium-well" and no one ever gets it right. They nailed it! Price: Breakfast was $70+ after tip and we don't feel it was worth it. We are currently sitting at bar being totally ignored by those behind the bar. The pregnant lady won't even acknowledge us! We sat here for 8-10 minutes without a word, water, hello, GTFO. Nothing! When a wait is an hour or more you know the place must be good. Hopefully. And in this case it is! Joined the Yelp waitlist and waited until my Dad and I were next. We are visiting Colorado to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park. Service was great start to finish. Checking in, ordering food, recommendations were all awesome. Everyone was friendly. Upbeat morning music playing in the background. Loud enough to do a little dance but quiet enough so you can have a conversation. The food was awesome. Tuscan Egg Benedict was perfect and tasted just right. Hash brown that came with it had just the right amount of crisp. Fred's Hawaiian Pancake was fluffy and sweet with tidbits of pineapple inside. Also got the Maui Wowie to drink. Intentionally ordered the pancake and drink since $3 of each purchase goes to support victims of the Maui fires. Great food, good & unique selection. It's always busy but they work hard to get you seated. My only consistent issue is this: 1 small pad of butter and a tiny shot glass of syrup for a big pancake. Urban Egg is a nice little gem tucked into the Centerra area. This is my second visit and both times the food was flavorful and appealing. Their green Chile is wonderful with a nice kick. I got the Blue Corn Huevos Rancheros with the portobello mushrooms- nom nom nom Server Ashton was friendly and quick with everything - kept checking on us and made it a great experience. The food is always good, I love their vanilla cappuccino and the service is amazing!! The only reason I don't give this place 5 is because I really dislike the tables by the kitchen as they are very noisy and it is hard to keep a conversation going unless you are yelling. I have requested tables away from kitchen and the host usually always complies if there is room, so I'd like to give 4.75 if I could since the kitchen noise happens in nearly all restaurants with open space designs. Sat on the patio because the weather was perfect. Was my first time visiting and it was a toss up between Denver hot chicken Benedict or Heuvos Rancheros. I'm not a fan of really vinegar tasting Buffalo sauces, so I asked and was told it's not that vinegary tasting. I went with it and boy was there allot of vinegar. Did not enjoy the chicken at all, but biscuits and hollandaise sauce was very good. Potatoes weren't bad either. I choked it down, but ended up pushing chicken to the side. So, we just moved into the apartments here & wanted to try a brunch place. So me, my hubby & our 17 year old daughter saw Urban Egg. We got on the "wait list" online. We showed up & the lady said it maybe a 10-15 minute wait. We waited over 30 to be seated. I ordered the lavender mimosa. Which came out wrong. Didn't taste of lavender nor the vermouth it claimed was in it. The waiter had it remade. Second time, it was perfect. The huevos were way hotter than I'd hoped, but very good. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were amazing. My daughter said the best pancakes she's ever had. My hubby got biscuits and gravy. We will most definitely try this place again. But, as I'm iffy about whether to rate a 3 outta 5 for the first time, its worth another try. Let's hope for the 4 next time. read more

We have hit this place a few times now, but today we used Yelp to get on the waitlist. It was easy and kept us informed of wait times. Great service with management around everywhere checking in on you so you have the best experience possible. Great vibe and perfect for solo peeps as well big groups. The breakfast tacos with bacon are by far my favorite thing on the menu. Chose from chorizo or bacon and comes with avocado crema, pickled onions and so much more. Tried the biscuits and gravy and wasn't too impressed. The biscuits were so dense it was hard to cut them with a fork. They came out cold, but manager was very helpful about getting a new run of them. I wouldn't do those again. Overall a fantastic place to do breakfast. read more

Back again for another delightful, fulfilling breakfast/dinner. Working the night shift, I always crave a great ending to my night (7am) and it hits the spot everytime. Feel free to ask the bartenders for recommendations as they have something for everyone. Careful though as some of those drinks pack a punch! If you're in the mood for something hearty and fulfilling to keep you going all day, check out the steak and eggs! Cooked to your liking with a coffee flavor twist that completes the palette! Decent food but just like everything in Colorado it's super expensive for the portion size. Super clean and modern interior. The biscuits were a little tough, the eggs a little watery and the hashbrowns a little burnt but overall it was a decent meal. The gravy has a distinct flavor. Maybe it's the sage they put in it. I gave them 4 stars and I think 3.5 stars would be more accurate. I will go back and try the carnitas next time. read more
