Spent over $30 for a gold wash and my car is still filthy. There still bird poop and tree sap and bugs on my windshield. I made a comment to the guys drying and they just looked at me. Not happy at all. UPDATE: I brought my car back the following day because they have a 24 clean guarantee. I explained that I was there on the prior day and my car didn't come out clean at all. They ran it through the wash again and it is clean this time. Annoying to have to go back but appreciate that they stood by their policy and re-washed, no questions asked. read more

The staff is courteous and friendly. They do a great job. My car comes out looking like new. I'm very pleased.

spots still on car All it took was a wipe for me . Inside was not vacummed . Horrible Wont go back again This place deserves no stars

Started going 5 yrs ago. Was good, but now it's terrible. It came out dirty. Pointed it out to the attendant. He wiped the areas with his dirty rag. Still filthy. Dead bugs were still on the car. Car barely vacuumed. I went home and washed it myself. New car smell they sprayed inside smells like body odor. Wife's car the same. $60 for nothing. read more

Very disappointing after I heard great things about this place. I got the Silver wash but I think I got the " just about wash " I don't ask for much just what I paid for. The wheel dirty , dust and dirt on the side and on the seats, and finger prints on the dashboard. After rt 20 carwash closed I haven't found a reliable carwash. read more

Horrible - Paid for interior to be cleaned and left with it just as bad no vacuum no wipe down of center console.

If I can give it 0 I would !! What a scam I called this morning to ask for the price on the synthetic oil told me 79.99 minus I had a 10 off coupon which is bullshit because they charge me extra oil they scam woman so crazy I could paid less at the dealer shop . Got the silver car wash so it wasn't that I care for paying it's the extra 10 they charged me without letting me know and having the staff know the right price it seems like is a surprise every time ! read more

Urban Auto Spa - What a scam !!!! - Car Wash Near Me - Franklin Lakes, New Jersey

Been coming here for years but the service has steadily declined. Multiple occasions I've gotten oil changes and they didn't replace the oil filter. I called them out on it and they gave me 2 free oil filters so I let it slide. This last visit they broke the plastic radiator hose and claimed "it was corroded and broke on its own" Then some taller bald gentlemen I assume was a manger walked by and said "that's definitely not under warranty" and kept walking. From the photo you can clearly see the hose is the closest thing to the oil filter and that they clearly broke it on accident. It's just not something that breaks on its own. I just wish they would of admitted to the mistake and did the right thing instead of sending me down the road dumping coolant to my mechanic. I will gladly remove my review if they want to reimburse me the $592.00 repair bill. read more

Great car wash - wish they had the ability to tip on credit card. Enjoyed the glass and watching my car go through the wash. Lots of staff to dry car. Best car wash in area read more

Well, I thought I got the $30 thorough wash, but instead I paid $30 for a half ass job. The cup holders weren't even touched. The front of my car still had bug splats on it. The trunk wasn't vacuumed. The front floors looked nice. There was still dirt on the back of the car (as you can see in the photos.) The dash board hadn't been touched and still had dust on it. Had I'd paid $10 for this it would've fit. The Jiffy Lube service was fine but for an almost $90 synthetic oil change you certainly don't get much. Midas and Meineke do things like check the brakes and tires and undercarriage. That's worth the almost $90. After a $111 tab, at the end of the day all I got was little to average service. I could've done a better job myself and saved that money. read more

Absolutely terrible! I usually go to Belmont hand wash but they were slammed so I went here and what a mistake. Got the 30$ package and my 2 yr old could've done a better job. The backseat looked like they didn't even wipe the seats down. They definitely didn't vacuum my trunk. Lesson learned! Never again. UPDATE! Tried this place again cuz hey maybe the day I went they were having a bad day. WRONG! Turns out they just SUCK! Look at these pics.. I just left!! read more

Urban Auto Spa - Never wiped or vacuumed well. - Car Wash Near Me - Franklin Lakes, New Jersey

If you can find a better alternative, do so. The exterior wash beats that of a weak garden hose, but they barely mail in any attention to the interior. While lightly vacuumed and hardly wiped, blasting the salty film from my rubber mats would have cost an extra $15. No thanks. Im new to the area so I'll keep searching for a more qualified car wash. So should you. read more

I no longer have to travel to Franklin Lakes to get a superior car wash at Urban Auto Spa. Eddie Dunn, owner, has bought and completely retrofitted what was formally Wayne Car Wash on Hamburg Turnpike across the street from what used to be King George's Diner. He has not only retrofitted the establishment but has hired excellent help to make sure my car was properly cleaned. He has done this with the help of the manager, Jose Rodriguez. Jose is present to assure that customers are satisfied. He is not afraid to run the front line as well as the office. He assisted my son-law in replacing some misplaced mats. He addressed the issue and solved the problem. Thank you for saving me the trip. Try it. You will be as satified as I am. VJC read more

The service at this car wash continues to deteriorate. I stopped going a year ago because they consistently did a bad job. I recently returned because someone had given me a Silver Service free wash card. I had low expectations and they did not disappoint. Streaky windows, not dried properly, not vacuumed well, basically a half hearted effort by the entire group. Don't waste your time and money. For a place that was once very good, you've fallen into complacency. Not a place you want to be. "Clean" up your act. read more

I've been coming here for years, and this review is way overdue. My intent is not to bash this place but to provide these guys with some constructive criticism with hopes that it will help them get better and improve the level of service they provide to their customers. The good - The car washing equipment. Fairly new, works as intended, cleaning performance is decent, provided you maintain a regular car washing schedule and have your car washed more frequently than the oil change intervals. The bad - Vacuuming the cabin. The floor mats are frequently not put back in place properly. The seats are sometimes left untouched, you get your car back with the seats containing the same amount of junk...crumbs, etc. (those with kids know what I'm talking about). And...The ugly - 1. Vacuuming the trunk. Those ribbed vacuum hoses ...the employees haven't been trained to lift those of your bumper. They literally saw your bumper while moving the vacuum around the trunk, and you're left with nice amount if scratches on the top and corner of your bumper. Car wash entry managers...make note of this. It's an issue that needs to be addressed. 2. Door jambs. Rarely wiped down. If the manager doesn't do it, the workers don't bother snd the jambs are left completely wet and dirty. 3. Windows. I don't know what's on those towels, but the streaks and smearing left on the interior glass is unacceptable. The windshield and the back window are the worst. The stuff is even hard to get off later on with automotive glass cleaner and a good microfiber cloth. I have a monthly plan here, and I don't allow them to vacuum my trunk and do the windows. It is a huge pain and results in a lot of confusion both at the wash entry and the exit. Hoping to see some improvements in these areas soon, as the place is nice and the guys are decent. read more

Always happy to help and please their customers. I use this car wash regularly and love it! Their monthly deals are also fantastic !!

Urban auto spa is a really cool facility they have the car wash and oil change station and a deer up station. I only come for the car washes. The attendants are really nice and the price is pretty average. Car usually comes out really shiny with no water marks. I usually don't write a ton of Yelp reviews but I wanted to share how happy I am with the service at the Franklin Lake location. Long story short my car smelled of cigarette smoke from the previous owner. I paid for the interior package and ozone treatment. Just picked up the car: it looks brand new and the cigarette smell is gone! Would definitely recommend this location for anyone with a similar problem. read more

Ordered platinum wash early on Thursday morning. Twelve cars in front and five behind in the queue. Only one drying crew on and they rushed the process. Poor quality and very disappointing read more

I've been a regular for years. NO MORE. Oil change? No problem. Car wash? Terrible. vacuum missed everything. Soap suds on the car, I mean a lot. They had to have seen it. I had to tell one of the guys and he wiped it off but it was still a lousy job. Goodbye guys. Avoid them!!!! read more

Bottom line you can't beat the great monthly packages they offer but that's where it ends! My car is NEVER cleaned inside, the vacuuming is poor quality, and all areas that are clearly visible to wipe down are never touched. I guess you get what you pay for. I would think a location such as Franklin Lakes would hold their employees to a higher standard. read more

DONT COME HERE unless you drive a really expensive car.. they wont treat you right otherwise. I could have gotten a better wash for $15 anywhere else.. I spent $40 on the "Platinum" wash & wax and added the interior detailing, and vacuum : the car came out with dirt and spots still all over, and dried with water spots since they didn't actually wipe the car off after wash they let it air dry in the sun, 20 minutes later he finished detailing the inside of the car, and there still spots on the seats.. .. the ONLY thing that looked clean, was my "shiny tires" seriously??? I point all of this out to the manger, and tell him there is still dirt on the car and he tells me "we dont have the scrapper tool to get any spots off" seriously??? then tried to give me a free-wash coupon. (worth $16 of whatever the cheap one is worth) such a shit job. dont go here. read more

I regret not reading reviews before going to this car wash. After spending a little less than $20 and leaving with a dirty car, I know I will not be coming back here. My car was left just as filthy as when I brought it there. I can do a better job pumping quarters into a self clean. read more

Never again. During busy time, the car was barely clean, suds still on doors and in jams. Obvious dirt on inside door that anyone could see and quickly wipe off. Over priced and could have got same quality at a drive thru coin operated place. And just once the elderly woman up front could smile when she takes ur $30 hose down Why did i return? This was a decent albeit expensive car wash that is local to me. However ever since Jiffy Lube came into the picture it has gone downhill. I am a big believer in second and third chances and after today's visit was a strike out and I'm done never to return. Today was rather busy and by the time I paid they parked my car under a tree where the car was littered with bird poop. While the manager did offer a free gold wash and personally drove the car around in order to be first, they didn't offer a refund nor said sorry. When you're paying $60 for an oil change and wash you would expect superior service. However a think I would get better service at a high school charity wash than this place! read more

One of the better car washes I've been to in the area. First off, for people complaining that it's "Franklin Lakes" pricing....perhaps this is because it's in Franklin Lakes. You're definitely paying a bit of a premium for the cleanliness of the facility and the location. We're all capable of driving 30 minutes for a cheeper wash, but ain't nobody got time for that. I've gotten the Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages all a number of times. For the most part always a good job. Sometimes the windows are a still smeary, or there's something left on the seats, but in the grand scheme of it all: quality work. There are several extras you can add on for additional $$ and about a 15 minute longer wait. I run a camp, so I'm a big fan of the "Super Vacuum." An extra $7.50 and about 10 minutes and they get tons and tons of dirt out of the car. Could I save $7.50 and do it myself? Sure, but I'd much rather sit out one one of the benches and read a book instead. A car wash in a premium location that almost always hits the nail on the head. read more

Yesterday was not the first bad experience I have had with this car wash however it will certainly be the last. The machinery is impressive to look at and the outside of the car is acceptable however when your prices are high it is expected the inside will be vacuumed well windows cleaned without having streaks and mats cleaned well. When I complained about the mats I was told it would cost extra to be done. Really ?? Well I am done also. You need to address these issues. Do a better job. read more
