Because it was early in…read morethe year, the waterpark wasn't fully open yet... there were no live shows running, and very limited options, which was a bit of a bummer. If you aren't a hardcore ride enthusiast, the adult entertainment is pretty much limited to finding a nice spot to grab a drink. For adults who don't like coasters, early season is a total miss. They are incredibly cool, packed with big thrills, and 100% kid-approved. Arrive early! If you don't want to suffer in massive lines for the main attractions, you've got to be fast on your feet. Get to the park ahead of the crowds so you can sprint to the best rides first. While the lack of shows was disappointing, the park totally redeemed itself with pure, unadulterated nostalgia. My former pre-teen self was absolutely losing it because I got to meet Franklin--and had a chance to strike a pose, with Linus, Lucy, and hung out on the bench with Snoopy and Woodstock. These moments completely made the trip. As they say, "Happiness is anyone and anything at all that's loved by you." Go early in the day, hit the big tracks, and don't miss a photo op with the classic Peanuts crew!

We were happily surprised that there weren't a lot of people and the rollercoaster lines were short! The newer rides are great, we loved raptera. Soak City was another story and it was packed. The lazy river was chaos - I recommend that the lifeguards start limiting the number of folks that can get in at the same time. Other than frogmageddon (if you know, you know) we had a nice day at the park!

We went ziplining during their moonlight 9pm tour and it was a great adventure. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident and empowered when transitioning to each zip line or bridge. It even rained during our night tour and they remained professional and kept everyone's spirts up. We also heard a bear roar during our tour which was a bit scary, but also cool at the same time. It did help with the fear that we were several feet off the ground. We were provided with gear, glow lights for our helmets and the hands on training exercises before we embarked were priceless. Everyone wore their masks and it was a nice outing to experience durning COVID-19. Heads up this activity is hosted by a third party on the Salamander resort (which is a beautiful property) but is pretty deep in the woods.

Thanks for a fun and deeply empowering experience!

They are ridiculous ridiculously excessive. Video games should not cost $1.25 a pop, it should be a quarter or $.50. Go karts should not be $10. Mini golf should not be $10. That's just ridiculous. Also what sucked about a lot of of the games is that, let's say it's a racing game, and you came in first place, your game is over. You don't even get to play anymore. You have to PAY more. Takes all of the fun out of it when you're constantly having to pay. I DID have fun, and I enjoyed myself quite a bit, but the price is really excessive. Probably won't ever go back unless it's with a group of friends and we just feel like blowing a lot of money. I feel terrible for parents because a couple of kids could easily burn through $50 in a couple of hours here.

Young woman in front was more interested in getting phone number of other co worker and talking about plans after work--time and place for that not in front of me thanks...took about 3 minutes until we were finally helped by a young man. Mini golf course was fun and clean, for the most part. Can't help nature debris. Ok. Fun arcade games for the grandchildren. Bathrooms clean. However young woman at prize counter was not thrilled to be there it seems--I know it was closer to close but come on, my grandchildren just wanted to exchange their tickets for a piece of candy. Whatever, we didn't let it ruin our night. Overall would probably go during the day maybe employees would be more fun and engaging...don't like this night crew! It's fun land DAY and NIGHT

This was definitely my favorite ride in the park…read more From the fast acceleration into the twisting maze of track to the overall smooth ride of controlled chaos, it was, without a doubt, the top ride in the park. I rode it 3 times during my visit since I enjoyed it so much!

On 8 May 1999 I heard advertisements for The Joker's Jinx . I remember I didn't like the ads for the ride, but I knew I would certainly ride this ride. The day I went to the park, I rode many rides, because I know the line for this ride would be long no matter what time I went. When I finally arrived to the ride, the line was long, but there were refreshments for those in line. The lemonade hit the spot and I had plenty of time before I rode the ride to get the fluid into my system. When I saw the paint job for the Joker, I never thought emerald green and purple went well together, BUT THEY DO. Oh, I was young back then. I even bought a Joker's Jinx tee shirt. At that time I wore a large tee shirt. I don't remember what happened to the shirt, but I know I through...no...I believe I gave it to good will. When I finally got to the gated area, you had to pass by several mirrors that made you look distorted. For my first experience I went straight to the back where I had to wait a little longer. Why, because the rear is tighter? Because I like it in the rear? Or because the rear of the car is the fastest. This answer is the best answer. The front is the slowest, but the rear end gets pushed forwards because of the force of the front of the car. The middle seats are a natural point. In this case since it is a blast coaster it pretty much doesn't matter until you feel the rear end of the car moving faster from the pulling of the rest of the cars. The spiraling looks to the side way turns make this rollercoaster a lot of fun. Listening to one of the operator say "Hands Up, hands up, I wanna see your hands." Once everyone's hands were up, he would hit the go button and everyone in the coaster cars would shoot forwards. I would love to say The Joker's Jinx started the blast coasters craze, but it wouldn't be true. Still, I had a lot of fun. This ride is a steel ride and steel rides have been know to be smoother than the wooden rollercoasters. I wouldn't mind going on this ride again. I would call this a high thrill ride.

The ceremony and cocktail hour were held on the first floor and the reception was upstairs (and yes, there are elevators). The only caveat is that there are only bathrooms on the first floor, so we all made multiple up-and-down trips throughout the night. There is also an outdoor terrace on the second floor (unfortunately, the view is... the parking lot) but it was a nice area to chat with other wedding guests on a breezy, late May evening. The dance floor area was a bit small for the amount of guests, but it ended up working out. The dinner was buffet style, and the food was quite good! The strawberry salad was tasty, but maybe a bit too much dressing. The mashed potatoes were very garlicky with the perfect texture (not too smooth, but not too chunky). The steamed vegetables (broccoli and carrots) were seasoned enough to be enjoyable on its own and with the protein. There were three protein options: chicken, salmon, and steak. The chicken had a creamy sauce with a red pepper topping that I didn't love. The salmon was seasoned generously, but it was a bit overcooked. The steak was seared quite nicely, cooked medium, and it was my favorite of all three proteins. Overall, the food was good for a wedding venue. This was a great venue to have a wedding!
