The venue is beautiful as it is, but we were able to put our own personal touch on it with decorations and no limit in our choice of caterers. barbecue was a hit with the guests. The farm nature scenes and the barn made for amazing photos. The rules were clear in the contract and the owner was very responsive to questions. I have to give a special shout to Marianne Postma-Harris for being so generous and accommodating, I really appreciated it! Marianne went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of! She was beyond friendly and sweet! Breakfast is included in the stay which is a plus! You fill out the door tag menu they provide you and you leave it outside the door and then in the morning they bring it directly to your room. I had a veggie omelet and it was so delish! Def recommend that one for sure! Even though I didn't get a chance to take advantage of their restaurant or spa services, I plan on my next visit! It is such a nice local get away and also a great place to have a gathering or a special event! I cannot wait to go back that's how much I loved this place!

The grounds are amazing--surrounded by trees and rolling hills, with a vineyard nearby that really adds to the atmosphere. On a nice day, it definitely gets busy--almost every picnic table was taken when we visited--but there was still plenty of seating inside and on the patio. They had a food truck on site, and you can also order charcuterie platters at the counter. I liked that you can bring your own picnic too (just no outside alcohol). They are also dog-friendly! I was a little surprised to see so many kids, but thankfully parents were keeping a close eye on them, so it didn't take away from the experience. There's a solid selection of wines available by the bottle or as tasting flights, so it's easy to find something you like. Tastings at the bar with a wine educator are a nice touch, though they can be a bit limited if the place is really crowded. The only downside was that they seemed a bit short-staffed during, so tables weren't cleared as quickly as they could be. That said, there are plenty of trash cans and bottle bins around, so it's easy enough to help keep things tidy. Overall, a great place to unwind with friends, enjoy some wine, and soak in the scenery--just be prepared for crowds on nice days!

They also accommodated our need to reserve part of the parking lot for a pre-wedding car show. They welcomed our DJ and any other vendors that wanted to check out the venue beforehand so all could be prepared. I am actually surprised that they did not have issues with some of the music that we played. We had a truly exceptional time. Best of all, they worked with marketing professionals at American Honda Motor Company to deliver a surprise for us. It was great because I didn't want to know what we were getting. Laura Petrosino, the event director here, worked with our DJ, Jarrod of Metro DC DJs, to make the surprise go off flawlessly. The bartenders were really fun and easy to get along with. They even told us that our musical style was definitely the best they had ever heard at any Regency event where they tended the bar. One of our good friends ended up leaving his sunglasses at the venue but they set them aside for us so we were able to pick them up.

No one contacted me for food tasting nor event details later in Sept. Since I am planning a destination wedding, I was freaking out. Every time I emailed them, it took a few days to get a response. Finally, when I stopped by at the venue two weeks before my wedding, I got to talk to the new coordinator. She told me that they were too busy and only reached out to the clients a week ahead of their wedding for details. She was nice but what kind of service they are offering especially in the wedding business. I was very stressed throughout the time. If I didn't stop by, I would not know their plan. No one care to email me for their plan. Anyway, we sorted out many last minutes planning before one week of my wedding. On my wedding day, they messed up my seating plan and my special guest table (our parents and families) was at the back corner. I gave my seating plan to my coordinator but she mixed up with her table numbers. She made me to finalize my seating chart when I was doing my makeup on my wedding day. Apparently, she did not do it right that's why our parents had to sit at the corner. I am still very disappointed!!! Moreover, the food was awful. We selected two plates menu; Steak and Grilled Chicken. Guess what! the chicken was burned and too hard to eat. I couldn't even eat and so do all my guests. It totally tasted different from the food tasting. Besides, they put our wedding favor in the lobby that is far away from our wedding reception. The coordinator said they will put the favors inside our reception room near the bar. But apparently, they were placed far away from the wedding event. No one saw them nor took them. We had so many leftover cake pops after the wedding. It's such a waste of money. So, if you don't want any stress nor disappointment, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I provided my feedback to the wedding coordinator but her response was "Sorry! I will let the food and beverage manager know". But no one contacted me for fixing them. I don't recommend any future brides to deal with this kind of management. Save your stress for other things!!!

They offer a golf cart to drive you down but again, if your disability makes it impossible to climb steps, you'll struggle to board the golf cart. They could install a removable ramp that would not interfere with the building's structure when they know it will be needed or even tuck a portopotty near the carriage/garage house. Wheelchairs are difficult to push through the grass and gravel. The staff is very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Pick your DJ carefully. The DJ that was chosen for the wedding we attended, rarely played a complete song. Even cutting the 3 important dances short. Unprofessional. The food that was offered for dinner was horrible. I've had better food in a hospital as a patient. The beef was dried out. The seasonal vegetables were the frozen California blend of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots that were complete mush and without butter or seasonings. I didn't try anything else from the dinner offering. Everyone at my table was not happy. We left early enough to be able to get food delivered to our hotel. The appetizers served during cocktail hour were good. The mini chicken and waffles seemed to be a big hit. The dessert table was amazing. I wish they had been full sized desserts instead of bite sized. We tipped our primary caregiver of our table. I wish I had gotten her name. She was older, very attentive and genuinely kind. Her smile reached her eyes which shows she has a good heart and cared about her job and her clients at the table. She had a great laugh too. The wedding coordinator failed to explain to the bridesmaids and groomsmen that they actually had jobs to do besides stand there and look pretty and drink. Groomsmen are supposed to escort women to their seats and bridesmaids/maid of honor are supposed to help keep the bride's train on her dress straight, hold her bouquet at the appropriate time etc. The photographers were amazing and handled herding the people for the photos with an effortless yet strong hand.
