I have had a great experience so far with getting new stuff for my 2 new pups there, it's always…read morenice and clean and well organized and easy to find what you're looking for. The team was very helpful in getting down some hard to get items and we had to make two trips in and out to get everything we needed with no fuss. We even set up puppy training while we were there and had a coupon for money off for one of the pups and the manager was nice enough to give us the discount for both of them! The reason for the four star review is because we have an older dog who we brought in for grooming and to be honest it wasn't the greatest job. Her nails were not trimmed on her front feet and she had tons of loose fur still coming off of her after we picked her up.

Alyssa groomed my pet, and he came back soaking wet and absolutely covered in matted fur. He was…read morenot even close to this matted when I brought him in. His coat was also cut unevenly, and the overall grooming appeared rushed and lacking in care and attention to detail. To make matters worse when I arrived to pick him up he was sitting in his crate on the floor of the salon soaking wet. The experience was further worsened by Katie, the receptionist when I arrived to pick him up. She was unhelpful and provided extremely poor customer service. I will not be returning and would strongly urge others to find a different groomer, as this experience was unsafe and harmful for my pet. The quality of the grooming was unacceptable, and the staff's attitude made the situation even more disappointing. Based on the condition my pet was returned in, Alyssa did not handle him properly or demonstrate the level of care and skill that pet owners should expect from a professional groomer. The one singular positive aspect of the experience was Morgan, the manager. She was kind, understanding, and professional, and I appreciated her willingness to listen to my concerns.

Mercedes "Benz" the groomer gives excellent cuts, but the customer comes LAST with Pampered Paws!…read more After TWENTY appointments at 11 AM over two YEARS, my dog had an appointment they scheduled for 10 AM today which apparently I had "confirmed" by auto-text a week ago? When my husband arrived at 11 AM he was informed they would not take my dog as we were "more than half a hour late" which is a "grace period", that our dog could be put on a "waiting list" and oh by the way when they would finally groom her whenever that would be, they wanted an additional $35 "late fee" for... what exactly? When it was them that wouldn't take the dog? Over the two years we were given crap for arriving BEFORE 11 "we have other clients you know" so today my husband actually spent time waiting around in order not to arrive TOO EARLY which he apologized to me for when he got home as if he wasn't doing exactly what Pampered Paws had taught us to expect to do. We have also been given crap for not picking her up early when contacted as if were supposed to expectd to be available, or for attempting to pick her up on time without being contacted, because it's somehow the client's fault that the groomer hasn't gotten the dog finished after FIVE HOURS at the boutique. One of them has very poor social skills and actually lied to my dog sitter back in December the last time Amber was groomed there; this woman claimed to my sitter that services are "never prepaid" and that my sitter was lying when she stated her experience to the contrary. As despite the labeled button on their website, Pampered Paws has no actual publicly available written policies, it's understandable that there is ambiguity, so a few days later I did have a conversation over the phone that seemed to clarify that prepaying was possible (which I knew because we had done it) but failed to address the issue of the rude behavior. Judee actually chuckled on the phone when saying that is "not their policy to release a dog without paying" as if we weren't long-term clients with known phone numbers who could have given a credit card over the phone if we had even been asked. She absolutely bungled that interaction but rather than apolgize she just doubled down on the sarcasm. I should have taken it as a sign there and then. Round numbers, I have spent $2000 at Pampered Paws, but they won't get another cent from me until they're "Under New Management"!

Owner is horrible! After 11 years grooming our 2 female Samoyeds since they were puppies,…read moresuddenly the owner stated she will no longer groom our girls. We were charged $150/dog. We were prepared to pay $150x2. Then she claims she losing money and will have to charge $100 additional!! What!!!! Our Naples Florida groomer charges $120 x 2, and they know how to groom Samoyeds with their double coats. The owner continually changes prices. She was rude and unprofessional. After 11 years!!!!! She has a policy of charging customers if they are late or need to cancel. However, she has called us numerous times to come at a different time or change our appointment to another day. We were nice enough to accommodate her. When we tried to remind her of that, she said she thinks more of herself to be talked to like that, told us that she was not going to charge us, take your dogs and leave. This is how you treat a client of 11 years.

I mean, if we ever (heaven forbid) run out, he will scream, blood curdling screams until I can reach Sam and check to make sure my next delivery is in the mail, turn up the music and hold my breath until that little white box appears in my mailbox. just a couple of days ago, we were in a crisis. between the screams and the sad face I was considering walking to a Oak Bluffs. I called and spoke with Sam, who couldn't have been more understanding the severity of the situation. she looked into express mail and it was going to be very expensive and the cookies would have arrived just one day earlier. I ordered earplugs from Amazon and we soldiered on. I kept him distracted with a bird on a string for as long as I could and he made it through the night, sharing some honeydew melon seemed to satisfy. the next morning, in anticipation of another day of turmoil, I have to admit, I kept my distance from my furry friend as much as possible. the mail arrived around noon and I thought about going for a long walk, but I had plenty of work to do here. imagine my delight when I saw that white box with the Vineyard return address. It was my turn to scream. Both of us spent the rest of the day smiling. Each of our prayers had been answered. I filled Star's bowl and he ran up immediately to get started on the cookies. I haven't tasted them myself. But they must be something pretty special given his love of them. let me add, there are no other cookies that he will even try. He is a bit of an eccentric when it comes to food. One of the best parts of these treats is that they are really healthy. so you can feel good about indulging your kitty friend. Just don't ever run out!

Our…read morefirst observation was misleading, entering the front door, quickly catching view of the maybe eight, nicely stocked shelves. (Not much to offer and probably pricey, we thought.) Up and down to isles and finally requested assistance from a lady at the counter, busy working on tiny jewelry. Her knowledge of... well let's just say she quickly and pleasantly knew where there were shampoos and specialty shampoos. Later interrupting er for the third time, she proved more interactive than we gave her credit for. Helping us find the quietest toy (surprised herself that just about all dog toys {not kong} had squeaks AND proudly labels as such). We left much more pleased with the young lady, definitely! THEN - Needed a Veterinarian Initially to the animal hospital closest to me, couldn't take us, directed us elsewhere. Utilizing an Ap, headed to a 'highly recommended' location while on hold, finally informed they too were unable to see my little friend. Luckily for us, it was them who said to go directly to Baer's. "Don't go anywhere else. He is phenomenal and I believe has an emergency clinic there ..." Aha! There you've got it... "phenomenal" Not only do they have a Vet office, BUT he himself - wow, very thorough, asked questions I hadn't thought of, informed us of things never heard of AND the visit was not a 'wham bam thank you Ma'am" and to our surprise the fee was less than a regular scheduled Vet visit, with 2 antibiotics to boot! Oh and I've yet to mention the young ladies at the itty bitty non obtrusive desk. Un-believ-ably patient, understanding and calming- truly made me feel at ease. Beginning to end... Now we, (Mister Maxx) have a place to go, that has our full trust in their capabilities and we can feel a little more at home in our new town. . No, it was not a life threatening situation, not that time.

Some girl named Melissa was so rude and nasty to me I was in my 80's Till this day I am so sad they would not help me get my bird back So stressful and even called an attorney to help me and he called and the owner was very unsupported and yelled at the attorney I miss my Scooter so much and mentally upset just wanted my Scooter home So many bad reviews on this place and I can understand why No compassion stone heart
