I came in to consign, and I had A LOT. I didn't expect the store to take everything whatsoever, but out of 4 XL totes with a ton of both unused / tags still on designer bags and shoes, and plenty of in-style clothing with tags still on (I lost a lot of weight and wanted to finally clear my closet), they only accepted 16 items -- some of which were not the brand new with tags items (AE, Abercrombie, Aero, Vans / skate shop clothing like PacSun & Zumiez, etc., Coach, Kate Spade, MOSCHINO, etc.). The value of the payout for the 16 items was decent for the # of items, but not for their actual worth, which was expected, I just wanted it all out of my closet! The staff were SUPER nice and so helpful. 5 stars for the staff -- the only reason I gave 4 stars was because of their surprisingly low selection on what they accepted. The store overall was VERY CLEAN and well organized! The store is pretty small (the only location I have been to), but they have a pretty wide selection. I will say that they have a much wider womens selection than they do men's, but still a lot to choose from. The prices are low / moderate for the items. I will definitely come back to shop, and possibly consign in the future. I will warn with consigning to them that they look at the manufacture date tag (usually a small white tag on the inside side of the garment), and will only take items that have been purchased within the last two years. That being said, I had a ton of NWT AE jeans that were purchased over the summer (some staple jeans still in store) and they did not accept them. Good secondhand store. The store was laid-out well, overall. The fitting rooms were a bit hidden, but oh well. The employees were nice, though some seemed insulted when people didn't want to sign up for e-mails or whatever from the company. Overall, despite what others said, the prices here are great. I got a silk tie for under $20 and brand new from the original seller, it's $90. I also saw a pair of boots for $40 that are $200 new, and they were in great condition. I really love shopping here, I always find Free People, Michael Kors, American Eagle, and even designer bags and shoes for a fraction of the regular cost. Only giving four stars because I have sold my clothes here before and you really don't get much for selling to them... I sold 8 items, 2 being brand new pairs of shoes, and they only offered me like $22 of store credit or $18 cash. I did the math and turned out that I got around $2 for each of my items which were in great conditions and I had spent a lot of money on.... I was just hoping to get more, that's all. I would definitely rather make the drive to Plato's closet in Dover and sell to them, I've made way more there. I'm disappointed by their service. I sold clothes and they asked if I wanted store credit or cash back (you get more "money" towards the clothings you sold if you opt for store credit".) I opted for store credit. HOWEVER the woman who placed the money in my account gave me the amount I would've gotten in cash back! I should've gotten $11 more onto my store credit account. This has happened to my friend too just today and I think it's time I make a review of this. To me, at this point it seems more than just a simple mistake (even though loosing $11 is a big deal). It is staring to seem as if they're purposely doing this or TAKING ADVANTAGE of their customers. I'm very disappointed in this location as I had high hopes. In addition, some of their staff are extremely rude and that this location is very selective of what they buy from you. They don't take them for a lot of money either. They only buy my shirts for maybe $2-$3 at most! Best bet is selling them online if you want more than $3 for your clothes. read more

Weve been here a couple of times. Decent deals on clothes, but we went to sell a bunch of clothes, they offered us nothing. Even on a practically brand new pair of Sperrys. The shoes had little to no wear on them. I looked on their racks at other shoes and I saw plenty that were in significantly worse shape and were odviously well worn. I came in to the store today because a friend made me aware of a coupon for $10 off of $20. When I got to the register the employee who assisted me was very rude and stated I don't know what your coupon is but it isn't in the system under your number. Then when I asked for my birthday discount she asked for my ID which she snatched out of my hand. She did the same when taking my debit card payment. And I only gave them to stars just because the store looks nice and is very well organized. The employees there today, three unenthusiastic millennials, greeted me begrudgingly with my bin of clothing. Then it took them a few minutes to decide who had to do the burden of going through the clothing. They like to look through it together without you there so they pretty much told me to come back and when I did they had chosen three pieces out of my 30 pieces and offered me nine dollars for cash or about 13 for store credit. I asked if I could see what they chose and one of the dresses they chose was Brand new, never worn, and easily worth $50. I took that back and then my store credit went down to eight dollars. Then they give me my billion of nicely folded newly pressed clothing and everything is just thrown in. I suggested that like other consignor shops that they let the clothing owner re-packet as they go through the items. I got dirty Looks from that comment. And a lame "I'm sorry". So basically don't waste your time and less you have express, forever 21, or H&M clothing because it's up to the whim of whoever looks at your items anyway. I will not be back! read more

I bought some clothes for my daughter and was told at the time of the purchase that if they did not fit her I could return them as long as the tags were still on them for a credit back to my card. Biggest Rip off ever! Been here twice and will NOT be going back. The first time, I went to buy and was very surprised that they had so many items. To my surprise I found a two shirts I liked so I purchased them at a "deal" of $30! WTH, thought it was suppose to be a discount shop. The second time, I decided to try my luck at selling some items and donate what they could not sell. I walk in with a basket of clothes and am asked to sign in before they told me that it would be an hour- an hour and a half wait! I decided to look around for an hour before they told me that they would only take 8 items at $22.50 store credit or $18 cash and they handed me the clothes back without donating them. I accepted cause and kindly asked why they would not take the clothes and shoes. The manager in the background muttered "tell her were not taking them" to the associate. The associate then rudely stated that they were "outdated" , however, I had brand new items with tags still on them that they stating that they were "too basic". The nasty girl behind the counter then added "if you have any more questions about these items I'll point out why we can't take them" i said no, and she muttered "I know it sucks but that's how it is" I stated "no, I just know not to waste my time here again." read more

When this store first opened, it was great. The selection was good, they had cute clothes, and prices were reasonable. In the past 2-3 years it seems the selection has gone down while the prices have gone up. I hardly ever find anything there anymore, and when I do it's way overpriced. And selling your clothes back to them..forget it. I've tried selling to them twice; the first time it only took about ten minutes and they offered me $10 cash or $12 store credit. When I got home I could tell they only went through the top half of the bag, because the rest was folded and organized just as I had done. The second time I went in and was told it would be at least an hour and a half because there were eight people ahead of me. Kind of frustrating because I drove all the way there when the first time took ten minutes, but I managed. When I came back they told me that "one item worked out" (mind you, I took in two bags full of Hollister, Aeropostale, and American Eagle clothes), and offered me $3 cash or $3.75 store credit. I reluctantly took the $3 in cash because I rarely shop there anyways, and I'm not sure if I'll be back. I have found Target and Walmart brand clothing on their racks, and they won't even consider what I have that is name brand (and some either barely worn or new with tags still attached). Very frustrating at how picky they are when buying your clothes back. Needless to say, it'll be awhile before I return, if I return at all. read more
