    Coconut matcha
    Mia H.

Came here when I was passing by as it seemed really interesting. The inside of the cafe is also a specialty goods store, and you can find all kinds of snacks, drinks, and trinkets there. Their menu also offers some unique drinks but has a large menu of classic cafe items that you may see. I got the coconut matcha and was a bit underwhelmed. Although the matcha wasn't bad, I was expecting to have some kind of coconut flavor or something infused--it was just coconut shavings at the top. Maybe, I'll come back to try some of their other drinks sometime if I'm in the area.

My big bro (he's a model) and I stopped in here to get some fuel before hitting the track, as these days no breakfast tops a black coffee and a croissant. Upon entering and getting caught in a flash flood of natural light, I realized Upstate Stock is like a specialty grocery store, trinket shop, Medmen, clothing store, and coffee shop all blended into one. Great vibe... rolling with Big Bro (model) he's just going to put you on some great spots. I got to the front of the coffee line, and noticed a pretzel croissant. I had never seen such a beautiful fusion of 2 seemingly contradictory pastries. This is the kind of innovation that makes me optimistic about the future of mankind. My only cause for hesitation was the pretzel croissant was a TANK, and I didn't want to be bogged down on the track as I needed to impress Big Bro. I left it up to the croissant gods and asked the barista "Is the Pretzel Croissant good?" She responded "Idk, I've never had it to be honest." Damn. I wanted any kind of reason to pull the trigger on it, but nonetheless, the croissant gods had spoken. As always, I got an iced americano and a butter croissant. Quality. Honestly this was a top 5 croissant I've had in the city, but it's not touching C&B over in Alphabet City. The clear #1 seed. When we were in line, one of the baristas asked if we wanted a free iced oat milk latte, as they had accidentally made an extra one. I thought that was so sweet, as usually baristas will just throw it out. A great touch.... Big bro said no though because it had too much sugar. Did I mention he is a model? On the way out, I almost bought a New Yorker puzzle but didn't want big bro to judge me and think I'm a dork. I think I need to be more comfortable being myself, but I'm really shy......... NEXT TIME IMMA WORK UP AN APPETITE BEFORE I COME AND BODY THAT PRETZEL CROISSANT! Ig @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Great vegan options. Amazing matcha tea, it tasted super toasty and great quality. No seating area that I saw

I love visiting here. Free spirits and friendly. But I always think after I get coffee, I wish they also put a space to sit down. The store is not close to the train or buses. I actually need to warm up myself.....I hope the owner consider my suggestions. :) I'll come back after the winter time.

This place is my husband's new guilty pleasure (and mine too!). Here's why: After falling in love with their Confetti Fine Gauge Upcycled Cotton Watchcap that just kept getting sold out, we finally made it to their Brooklyn location. These watchcaps are made out of 100% eco cotton! Already with this, I'm sold! The colors we liked weren't available, so we ended purchasing them online. It was absolutely still worth the drive! Hubby scored a pair of gloves that he's obsessed with. This beautiful corner coffee shop and gift shop has it all. Mens clothing, apothecary, stationary, pasta, gift ideas, books and so much more! Also, yes, they sell coffee, pastries and baked goods too!! Campfire latte and tumeric latte (both with coconut milk) were AMAZING! There's something for everyone here. Love the chill vibes and its a place I'd totally come just to hang out. Upstate Stock is a gem: locally sourced, footprint on the environment conscious and just a great spot!

During COVID-19 as of December 2021: Beautiful corner coffeeshop and gift shop all in one without the indoor sit-down. Actually, Upstate Stock has been in Greenpoint for years and I was finally able to visit it this year. It has so much "cool" items inside from food, drinks, bath salts, jams, ceramics, incense, tea and more! They even have a clothing section made for the store from hats to tees. It's a shop celebrating upstate NY (think clothing with fish and deer art) with scents of the outdoors and literal outdoor-woodsy items. It's a perfect store for anyone into knick knacks of outdoorsy things. It also features ethically and locally made snacks with a high price tag. It's definitely a low-key Williamsburg store, although it can get crowded. I love visiting when I like getting lost in their curation and end up buying a unique candle. Upstate Stock has a barista at the counter if you're looking for a specialty latte of theirs or just a plain old Americano when in Brooklyn. Service is fast and the drinks are a life saver after running 5ks by McCarran Park. They have outdoor seating if you like to brave the cold (in the winter) as well. Great on summer days. Bathroom available! Indoor shopping. Takeout available for drinks and pastries. Accepts cash, card, and Applepay. Masks indoors. Drink up!

Wow super cool specialty latte menu so unique from all other cafes. I already had a latte elsewhere so didn't feel like anything but upon reading the menu I felt compelled to try them! Tried the camp fire (maple syrup and smokey chicory with smokey salt) and island lattes (carob with coconut oil). Both carob and chicory are caffeine free. The camp fire was a super yummy and unique drink! Even their matcha latte has unique ingredients and love that they source from Matchaful my favorite matcha cafe.

Good coffee and great service especially the morning crew. Great way to start the morning having people remember your order and giving you coffee with a smile. Multiple outdoor seating set ups to choose from depending on weather/time of day. The curated goods and snacks are a nice mix of simple and local to unique combinations of flavors.

This is an AMAZING local hangout with incredible coffee and tea. Check out the selection of candles and household wares. I'll be back!

HIDDEN GEM in Brooklyn!!! We were in the area one day and discovered this shop (which sells a lot of local goods from small businesses) which also has a cafe in the front with plenty of outdoor seating. The coffee was pretty good! It is located right across from a vibrant gym, and that corner of the block just has such energetic vibes! Would love to go back for another visit.

I was visiting from London and had only one store on my list: Buck Mason. I'd heard their quality was unmatched. So I was disappointed to learn that the Brooklyn store didn't carry the women's line, and I didn't have time to get into Manhattan. I knew exactly what I wanted, the classic boxy tee, and Isaiah and the entire team stepped in and made it happen. They literally sent someone to the Manhattan store to pick up my order and had it back in Brooklyn that same afternoon. I'll forever sing Buck Mason's praises and will be a customer for life. Thanks for making my first experience with BM a memorable one. And, that team has insane style to top it off. Every single person in there was dressed to the nines. Keep it up boys!

They tried their best during covid (they were one of the first stores in the neighborhood to close, thereby protecting both their employees and their customers before a lot of other stores did the same) but re-opened with this rather silly idea of having customers touch and try on clothes wearing tiny fragile ripped plastic gloves, which was...literally impossible. I received an email from FedEx confirming delivery on a Wednesday that included a photo of the package. The package was laying on a bare stone floor in a building lobby. Unfortunately the building in the photo is not mine. My building has a 24 hour/7 day doorman that receives all packages, logs them into a database that alerts the residents. My building lobby also is completely carpeted. There are no bare floors in our lobby as shown in the picture. I called Faherty the same day at (877) 745-8994. There is a recording that loops over and over stating all agents are busy helping others and simply directs callers to use the chat feature on the website. The chat feature simply asks you for your email and advises you that an agent will be in touch shortly.  I continued to call multiple times, hoping to reach an agent but no one ever picks up, regardless of of the time I called.  I spoke to a FedEx rep who stated that due to the type of Fedex service Faherty uses, she cannot assist me. She states that I cannot submit a claim on my own behalf, despite having a photo the clearly shows the package was not left in my building. She advised me that I need to notify Faherty immediately, or at least within 24 hours so they could submit an expedited claim and have the driver investigate. It is now 48 hours, multiple calls, chats with a useless AI bot, and I have not been contacted yet. To have a company that cannot provide adequate, or in Fahertys' case, any customer service at all, is ludicrous.  My recommendation to Faherty: Your customer service is nonexistent. Customers that visit your store and customers that visit your website deserve customer service. When customers seek help, forcing them to communicate with an AI chat bot that cannot assist  is not helpful. It only causes frustration. Hire live people to address customer concerns. At this point, I'm so disgusted by Fahertys' lack of response that I don't even want the dress anymore. What if something is wrong with it? Then I will have another hassle trying to reach people in customer service that don't exist. I will be contacting my bank for a chargeback.
