Had to get a small pit bike tire changed. They got me in right away and swapped it quickly. Very reasonable and friendly.

Basically full price and then when I tried to get a used bike for $4,500 they told me it would be $6,400 OTD and thats because they add an "anti theft systems" to all their used bikes to basically bump the price up dramatically. Then they never wanted to send me an Estimate it took me 5 different times asking for one but when I said im not interested anymore then they sent it over. Wouldn't recommend for anyone there a bunch of scammers taking advantage of people.

I delivered my 1997 FourTrax 300 to them on 11/02/2024. After 13 phone conversations and 3 face-to-face visits, I picked up my ATV on 04/10/2025 after five months of little or no activity or diagnosis. It is the first time I have received a piece of equipment back from a service department in worse condition than I delivered it. I took it to them with relatively new ignition components and a new Keihin (OEM) carburetor on it. The carb was flooding, but I had tested it for ignition and observed that the plug was firing. I asked them to rebuild the carburetor or adjust it as they deemed necessary. On 11/22, I called them for a status. I was informed they would get to it in the next 2 weeks. On 12/03, another call resulted in the same estimate. The next Saturday, I went to the service department and talked with Ben. He stated the plug was not firing. I related that it had been firing before I brought it in. After several minutes of conversation, I agreed to let them order another CDI box and install it to see if that resolved the problem. On 12/13, status called to find out it would be two more weeks before the part would be in. On 02/21, I called for a status and was asked by Ben if I wanted the brakes fixed. "Why?" I asked. Ben stated they were locked up. I pushed back that I had rolled the ATV off my trailer and up to their back gate and the brakes were not locked. Any problem with the brakes was due them letting my ATV sit out in the weather for 3 months. I called the store and asked for the manager to see what could be done to motivate the service department. Edwin called me back. This was the only time they called me during the entire 5-month experience. He asked me what I wanted them to do. I should have picked my ATV up that day, but I told him I would like to have my ATV running. I never argued price or complained about potential costs. He said okay. The next status call was on 03/21. Ben put me on hold and returned shortly to tell me his technician was out to lunch and he would call me back in about 15 minutes. He never called back. The finally status call occurred on 04/09. Ben left me on hold for 44 minutes out of a 45-minute call. When he did speak with me, he fumbled through 45 seconds of nonsense that translated to they would know more about the problem in about a week or 10 days. I rode by their place after work and observed my ATV parked right where it had been since my visit in December. The next day, 04/10, I went to the service department to take my ATV back home. When I walked by it, the key was in the ignition which was on. The battery was dead. Someone else's parts were on the utility box. I took the keys. Ben presented me with a bill for "diagnostic" parts. The apparently final received the CDI box and installed it. I asked if that had resolved the problem with the carburetor issue. He did not seem to know but admitted that the ATV was still not running. However, they were sure I owed them $400 for a part that did not help and I had told them would not. I asked to speak with Edwin. I am not sure why. He started our conversation by stating he was confused. I showed him the invoice and asked why I should pay for a diagnostic charge that after 5 months had rendered no diagnosis. He then stated that he was still confused and that no parts had been installed. I countered that I should not be charged for any then. Ben stepped back in the room and stated that the CDI box had been installed. I finally agreed that the part was cheaper than an attorney was. Finally, I asked Edwin if he had any thoughts on why they had taken so long to do nothing or why they could not return phone calls. He never even tried to address that. For the part I could have ordered for $125 and install myself in 30 minutes, went outside and pushed my ATV (the one with the locked brakes) to the back of my trailer and winched it on board. They never offered to help me rid themselves of my nuisance ATV. As I was finishing the task, a polite older gentleman driving a forklift in and out of their warehouse, offered to stop what he was doing and help me. By then, I was finished, but thanked him for the offer. There is apparently one worthy employee at Power Sports of Greenville. He should be running the place.

Rode to Greer from Beech Mountain, NC to look at a trike. Long ride through beautiful mountains…read more Arrived and met with Danny, the owner, who let me test ride 2 different trikes. Explained the differences between the 2 bikes, gave reasons why some riders went with one or the other, and since I hadn't ridden a trike before went over some of the major differences between 2 up and trikes. Danny worked hard to give me the best trade on my bike and really made the experience very easy. Only the 2nd dealership I have ever visited, whether it was for bike or auto, that really went the extra mile. Bought the bike, rode it back to Beech Mountain, then rode it to Raleigh, NC, where I live. Noticed that during the rides the rear brakes weren't acting right so had my bike mechanic take a look at it. Turns out the rotor for the rear brakes was cracked in half, hence the reason the brakes wouldn't work properly. Called Danny to talk with him about it, asking that while the bike didn't come with a warranty was there anything he could do. He very quickly told me that he was unaware of the problem when they had the bike or would have made repairs before being sold. He then said that I could either bring to them for repairs or have my guy make the repairs and he would foot the bill. Since they are about 4 hours away I opted to have my guy make the repairs. This type of customer service is what people used to receive in days gone past but seems to have fallen by the wayside. Very refreshing to know that there are still people like Danny and his crew at Cherokee Cycles that still care about their customers to this extent. At my age this is probably the last bike I will buy, but if not I will definitely check with Danny to see what he has available and be more than willing to make the ride to deal with him again. If you are in the market for a new ride do yourself a favor and go see him. Thanks Danny.

We had already replaced the battery and told the service tech that the battery was new. A week later they called and said they replaced the battery and that wasn't the problem. We had told them the battery was new and wasnt the problem. They then said it was the radio and they would have to send it out to be rebuilt. We asked if they had done a diagnostic on all other areas and they said yes. The rebuilt radio came back and they said the display was blinking more often than before. We asked if they checked if it was the display and if so could they replace it. They asked if we wanted to fix the bike ourselves. Are you kidding me. You've had my bike for three months and just admitted you didn't check the most obvious thing first. My husband was upset, asking them what they were going to do and for more frequent updates and by no means was he yelling, and service tech said come get your bike and hung up on us. He hung up on us. Unbelievable . We called to speak to the shop or service manager and we are waiting for their call back.

I told them upfront I would like to ride it because I have no idea if I even would like it- Where every other business would had just left me standing there or would had told me- no test drives before purchase- they handed me the key, told me a good route to go and even said- ride it as much as you like. Who does that nowadays? I really liked it but I still was uncertain, as yeah- it's a lot of money to waste if buyer's remorse sets in- so I told them I'd like to sleep over it and see, if that's really what I want. No problem- they where not mad, even happy that I didn't make the decision lightly. The next morning I called them and told them that I take it. I came right after lunch- the bike was serviced and ready to roll. The whole process lasted maybe an hour, where everyone else would waste your whole day. I received a very detailed explanation of the price, the cost and also offered a great coverage warranty- which I also purchased. I went home to get the truck and picked it up the same day. Awesome. The best buying experience I ever had in my life, where they really want you to be happy genuinely and not just because they want your money. Also the bike is awesome and reasonably priced in the market. Thank you so much and Ol' Red's has a new customer for a long time.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Do not give this dealership your hard earned dollar…read more This was my first time buying a new vehicle and it will be my last. The sales department bumbled around with the pricing on my motorcycle for 2-3 hours until they could get me in the door of the finance office because I was tired of being upsold on every model and submodel of motorcycle on the floor. The finance rep, Harrison, was visibly frustrated and agitated with my presence at the signing and answered my questions indignantly and unprofessionally. When I put $3,000 down on the original price of the motorcycle I ended up choosing, a Kawasaki KLX300, there was still a balance of $10,000 left for some reason. The bike is worth $7,000 brand new. I don't know how he did his math or how that $3,000 didn't change a thing about the price, but he didn't explain it very well at all. He was just frustrated he was going home at 5:15pm instead of 5pm. Maybe it was my mistake for signing, and maybe I should have brought someone to help with the fine print, but I feel like I got scammed, big time. Both with the price of the motorcycle itself and the terms of the loan they stuck me with. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Go to Powersports of Greenville or just buy private.

I had to drop it off last year in Aug for I thought was an easy fix but they keep it over a month, tires still not replaced. The security issue still was not fixed I was told it was a software issue and was waiting on an update, I called last week to see about the update and getting the tires put on and was told they don't make appointments. Last year I was told that they could flash the computer and install the tires while I waited, but know they are saying they can't. This just seems like they are trying to get out of doing something that was promised, not to mention almost 4K on an extended warranty. I live over 1hr away that was the reasoning for waiting on it, not to mention 5th recreationally vehicle purchased from them. So Beware this is how they treat repeat customers.
